Put down over 500 linear feet of shoe molding with multiple angled cuts. This saw did the job. Worth the investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is something i have always wanted , and finally got , to help with some of the projects i work on . i have a lot of physical problems because of what my job has put me thru . tools like this allow me to keep on crafting despite some of the more debilitating problems i have related to fine motor control with my hands .

Love it! I'm doing my baseboards and it's easy to use. I didn't want something really large. Just the right size. I'm sure I'll use it for other things as well.

Ryobi made a good inexpensive miter saw. However, I ran into a problem getting the blade off, to exchange the default 40 tooth blade for a 60 tooth blade. Well, I ruined several 1/4 inch hex keys in the process of removing the blade. The box said it came with a bolt wrench, but it did not. The 1/4 inch end simply twisted like a hot stick of licorice found on a summer's sidewalk. There are other reviews on Home Depot's web site that attest to this same problem. So, therefore this model of Ryobi's miter saw does not meet my expectations. I will give it to a thrift store with a little note attesting to the impossible blade bolt!

Great for small trim and cuts under 5"

Bought for my husband for his birthday and he loves it.

The stand is perfect. The saw is pretty lacking. Not what I've come to expect of Ryobi.

Can't stand the smoky grey safety guard, though. It makes it too hard to see so I wind up sliding the guard up and holding it with my thumb to make my cuts

Saw cuts straight and base is super stable. Recommend for anyone looking for a personal miter saw.

The manual is well written and the saw is easy to use. I purchased the saw with the stand and it makes for a great setup. Both are great products.

I have a couple of full-size chop sauce but honestly I was doing more and more shoe molding wood flooring projects and I don't want to Lug around my 12 inch miter saw. I love this little Ryobi. It does everything I need but it's like we wait and just so easy to manage. I have my larger solves for when the situation is needed but this is my go-to so I'm down for small baseboard and shoe molding
