Not hook and loop so the pad will not work with the Ryobi multi tool. Also can't find the hook and loop pads any where, seems Royobi doesn't sell replacement pads for the multi tool sanding attachment.

This sander is small and versatile, but it did not remove the paint like I thought it would. I used my other Ryobi sander to get the job done. It is very loud and shaky. I even bought 2 boxes of extra sandpaper but will be returning tomorrow. Disappointed in this.

This works well as detail sander. Do not think I am really qualified to rate this product properly because as someone who does not have upper body strength it bounced in usage. Ryobi makes quality products, I think I just don't have the strength or knowledge to use it properly. It made markings in woodwork. I had to go back with regular sandpaper to smooth it out. It was the only product I could use because everything else was too heavy to use. Someone needs to create something a little lighter for women.

I purchased this in August and it stopped working after 2 months.

The size and battery operations are convenient features for small, detailed work.

I bought this Detail Sander as a replacement for one that broke in the middle of a major door refinishing project. Have only used this sander for only a couple of days so the jury is still out. Seems to be working ok so far and if it continues to perform I will upgrade my rating. If it doesn't work out ........ Mike Garneau

They do not fit the velcro pad on the sander very well. They need to make them bigger.
