It’s heavy for a 76 yr old lady

Great item and great price!

The grass trimmer is easy to assemble to your height. The 18 volt- One has good power for my needs. Does a good job. I wish I could see how much battery life on the battery while in use. It’s nice you don’t have to tap to extend the line also.

My new brushless line trimmer seems to be more powerful than my old one;.. I’m happy!?????

So far very happy with trimmer, very light weight which was important for me. Easy change spool, good power & with full charge battery lasts long enough to trim our property which is approximately 60’ x150’, but the only thing that would be nice to have is a lock trigger switch so you wouldn’t have to hold it down when trimming, other than that, the trimmer passes the test for me.

The trimmer works very well. The battery has enough power to trim my lawn at least 2 times between changes. I would buy it again.

Very light and highly efficient

It works great for small jobs - trimming along sidewalks,flower beds etc.

This is very flimsy compared to other Ryobi products. The string doesn't last very long, the battery is low power, and the handle is too long (for me). I really regret this purchase, but since I've used it, I can't return it.

Terrific String Trimmer (weed whacker)... beats many other brands. Can do most of my yard on one charge. Not too heavy and easy to handle/maneuver. [it rips better and longer when I replace the spool with 8-9" pieces of knotted String,,, and drill similar hole on opposite side for Dual action. Lasts a lot longer] :D

I am a first time user, overall, it works fine, easy to install. But a couple of things need to mention: 1. I still don't understand what those two screws shown on FIG 13 are used for 2. The fonts on the manual are too small, unreadable. The manual on Homedepot (this page) doesn't have the FIGs. I have to search on internet to get the FIGS.

Works well for basic Trim work around my yard and you can't beat the price. If a 18V battery cost around $100 I paid under $30 for the trimmer.

I bought this item as I was looking for a reliable company to upgrade *all* my gardening tools with the same battery system. I also relied on the good score given by others. So I got this and a hedge trimmer. It's easy to assemble and the motor is super quiet BUT : the automatic feeding spool system that is activated by the speed handle is just a VERY BAD total misconception. I wasted the whole filament, all twisting under the plastic between the spool and the engine etc. A real ugly nightmare. I am still hesitant to return it tomorrow morning , as almost all Ryobi share the same stupid feature, OR try some trick I found online to disable the feeding mechanism that rely on a small weight and a spring inside the spool that are responsible for the spool to constantly unload. A very rare "0" recommendation for me.

Battery life on battery with unit when purchased, about 15 minutes. Bought another battery, lasted about 15 minutes. Takes over an hour to charge. Would not buy this weed eater.

Love this trimmer! It's so lightweight and easy for me to start and carry.

I bought this for my daughter since she does the trimming for me and hated the cord on the old one we had. I tried it, and love it! Now we can both enjoy it!

When I bought this the website said I was buying the smaller one so I was disappointed that it was bigger it says its 6 pounds but feels heavier I don’t like it much
