Garbage
Should have heeded the warning from other reviews. Lasted maybe 5 minutes before breaking. The twine was a joke. Made it maybe 25 feet before I packaged it up and returned it.

Hello, Ryan - We are so sorry that in about five minutes, your trimmer head stopped working, resulting in a return! This issue may occur if you're using the serrated blades to edge with, or the serrated blades hit against a hard surface, such as a wall or fence. The serrated blades aren't intended for these applications, but rather for cutting down thick grass and heavy vegetation. We hope this information is helpful. And if you'd like to discuss your experience further, then please feel free to email us anytime at reviews@ryobitools.com. RYOBIOutdoorTools

      Poor Quality Blades and head
Whelp, I just purchased my third and LAST replacement head. The plastic blades are not up to the job. Hitting a post, fence or stone will quickly destroy them. But, most disappointing is the poor quality of the head, specifically the “axle” that the blade goes on to. With the first multi-use head, one snapped off while using the trimmer, sending the plastic blade flying. With the second head, the “axle” came off with the broken blade when putting a new blade on. This pivot axle should either be solid plastic or metal. My next replacement will be a new trimmer that has quality accessories.

Good For Blade Use On Grass Not 0.65 String Use
I might suggest the Ryobi 2 in 1 Pivot Head for the blade use on grass. But the "head" only accepts 0.65 string size -which does not cut much of anything - at least not in Florida. If Ryobi re-designed it to accept up to 1.0 string or even 0.80 string -then I might say "OK". Plastic blades get worn if used along a cement border (sidewalk/driveway) quickly depending... but could cut through woody weeds well and along a shrub bed (grass to mulch bed) well....But Ryobi needs to "dump" 0.65 string and design tools and attachments for nothing less than 0.80 string. AND all those other blade heads.....make the blades attached to the head via a screw & nut....so the user can re-use the head once the blade is worn down.. FINAL THOUGHT: Make the screw thin enough to use with something like a "mounting cable tie wrap". It will probably not get caught up inside the Ryobi edger/trimmer motor like so many users complain about....because it will fan out straight.....

Only one good month in it
The head performed well for three weeks but now, because of scrapes from concrete and gravel sustained over those three weeks, it seems that the head itself destroys the line in less time than it takes to trim around the perimeter of 1/2 my front yard (about 1/8 of an acre). Recommend for: yards with no surfaces harder than a blade of grass

              Cool idea, poor execution
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried the trial blades that came with the weed eater and liked them so went out and bought the 2 in 1 blade attachment. It held up well for like 10 minutes against the St. Augustine grass we have but then both of the blades snapped off. Come to find out the blades are only held in by plastic and the plastic basically melted and broke...its very unfortunate but now looking at the reviews I should've known. Guess it's back to the ole trimmer line!

                Poor quality for Ryobi
Bought this product with additional plastic blades and was ready to get to work today. within 30 minutes one of the blade post broke. Should have read the reviews first. Didn’t expect this from Ryobi products! Very disappointed.

Hello, Justin - We are sorry that within thirty minutes, your trimmer head broke! This may occur if you're using the serrated blades to edge with, or the serrated blades hit against a hard surface, such as a wall or fence. The serrated blades aren't intended for these applications, but rather for cutting down thick grass and heavy vegetation. However, there could be another reason why the trimmer head broke. And it would be great to speak with you and see if we can leave you with a positive experience. If you would, please be looking for an email from us at reviews@ryobitools.com. RYOBIOutdoorTools
                  needs a better design
2 of these heads broke at the exact same spot. The cheap plastic pins that hold the blades. As others have said, this design flaw needs to be addressed

                    sucks
Not worth anyones money untill they figure out how to fix this thing. Just like other reviews, the pins are highly problematic. They either melt or break. I think these used to have a warranty on them but i didnt see it in specs this year
