Great concept. This was a replacement for exact same unit. Fantastic for light trimming of grasses, weeds but bogs down on anything even slightly woody. Fan blade now says “Grass Only” from factory. Just wish it was a bit tougher. Still comes in handy!

I have a number of 18 volt Ryobi tools and the grass/ shear shrubber is one of my favorites.

The grass cutter does not work as good as l thought it should. The hedge trimmer attachment works just fine.

Not as well balanced as the larger RYOBI shrubber we have owned for years, which has an easy way to hold it with both hands. This was too heavy for one hand, to me. Had to return it, but HD always has good customer service folks.

Love it so far! I needed a lightweight trimmer for my many lavender plants- it works great & adds some reach also.

The tool is extremely weak and could not cut through small shrub branches without locking up. Should have returned but lost receipt. My first bad Ryobi product

Cuts like butter, charges quickly, holds charge and is lightweight enough my 6 years can hold it to cut.
