Operation is easy, but be sure to read the owner’s manual, especially the safety section before using this first time. I found the rap around front handle and the new ergonomic rear handle so comfortable to use I won’t miss not having the indexing rear handle that is available on some Ryobi models. My first experience with their HEDGESWEEP Debris Remover bar that helps clear away the debris as you cut. It works well and I liked having it. It’s made of a light weight plastic so it doesn’t make the tool any heavier or tiring to use with it, but it works. Cut my bushes quickly both clean and effortlessly with its super sharp blades. Kit comes with a sturdy plastic blade sheath to protect you and the blades in storage. One 2.0 Ah battery and charger that are compatible with over 175 RYOBI tools on the RYOBI 18-Volt system. Comes with Ryobi’s 3-year warranty.

I didn’t realize how great it is as a cord-free tool. Best reason for cord free. There is a vertical bar to help push off hedge cutting debris. The Handle/motor is smooth designed and easy to hold and fairly lightweight. Both sets of the blades move to reduce the overall motion. The bottom has bolt heads that are fixed to allow the blades to float both directions. Almost like a counter balance to reduce vibration. The last 4 blades (at the tip ) are just a little shorter to get into tight spaces. Excellent idea. There is a blade guard for when not in use. The charger has indicators to tell how long to charge and it charges the 2.0 a hr battery pretty fast. Battery power lasts for all of my bushes on a single charge. Extra batteries are available for longer days. Really plenty of power.

My new Ryobi P2608 hedge trimmer features a powerful quiet brushless motor. It came with a 2ah battery blade scabbard, debris deflector and charger. The debris deflector works great and keep cut branches from clogging the b!ade. The scabbard protects the razor sharp blade. This trimmer is very lightweight and easy to use. Cordless lawn tools are easy to maintain. You can count on Ryobi for good quality tools at a fair price.

I decided to make life easier and recently acquired this electric hedge trimmer which is a very amazing product, especially since it now becomes part of my RYOBI family of "ONE" 18 volt battery operated pieces of equipment. The trimmer comes with a slide on sweeper attachment that helps clear away the debris as you trim. The trimmer has all the safety features and besides being very powerful just fits comfortably in the hand and is amazing light in weight and handles perfectly. RYOBI ONE+ 22 in. 18-Volt HP Brushless Lithium-Ion Cordless Hedge Trimmer - 2 Ah Battery and Charger Included. Nice improvement on the pervious trimmer. You now have a 2Ah Battery & charger . Ryobi included a nice blade cover so you will not have to worry about damaging your blades when you are storing the trimmer. Another nice feature is the HedgeSweep debris remover that clears clippings as you trim. The Trimmer is well balanced. The 3/4 in. cutting capacity will work well on my hedges and holly bushes.

RYOBI ONE+ 22 in. 18-Volt HP Brushless Lithium-Ion Cordless Hedge Trimmer - 2 Ah Battery and Charger is an improvement over a corded trimmer. It comes with a unique feature, a sweeper attachment on the top of the blade that assists in removing clippings from bush tops and sides. The trimmer is 22 inches, enough for easily trimming moderate size bushes and smaller tree branches. I found the bigger trimmers, unless you've got a wall of bushes, unwieldy getting into spots. This size doesn't have that problem at all and is not intimidating to use for many. It slips in to do the job around shrubbery, has a comfortable feel to use and the lighter weight makes it easy to hold when working. The trimmer weight is under eight pounds and the trimmer comes with a knuckle safety guard in front. It has two handles for safety, one hand across the top and a second handle with the trigger mechanism behind it. It includes a trigger lock for protection to prevent inadvertent starting. The trimmer is powerful, does a good job. The blade length gets the job done just fine, keeps cutting and has a ¾ - inch cutting depth. The blade comes with a protective scabbard for storage. Overall, a standard trimmer in general design, similar to others I've owned, but with Ryobi's high quality standard. In seeing this trimmer one notices the sweeper attachment as different on top of the blade. It is new and not seen by me on other trimmers.. It is designed to sweep cuttings off bushes as you move along with a sweeping and cutting motion. It slides on the trimmer attached by a rail and grove above the cutting blade. The trimmer operates with or without it just fine. This model comes with a 2Ah battery that includes a fuel gauge. This is new for me in Ryobi's smaller battery. It also comes with a compact charger for the battery. All and all this is a good trimmer, that is a pleasure to use. I really like the 22-inch size and its light weight compared to the other one I own. It comes with a three year limited warranty. Should mention I own a number of Ryobi garden and other tools, in my opinion, because of their good value.

I was very skeptical to try a battery operated hedge trimmer but glad I did. Definitely retiring the corded model I have. No more worries about cutting the cord. The Ryobi 22" trimmer is well built, sturdy yet light weight. The 22" is a great reach and the "Hedge Sweep" is an awesome feature as you can "push" cut debris toward you instead of it lying on the hedge. The trimmer is very sharp and easily cuts anything that fits between the blades. The run time is exceptional and the included battery and charger is great. The battery recharges very quickly. Another nice feature is the trimmer plastic guard when not in use.

My Ryobi 22 inch hedge trimmer is the best, the battery last a good amount of time. I replaced an old B & D that had a short battery life. Now I am all Ryobi lawn equipment and loving it. I use the hedge trimmer on my burning bushes and evergreen bushes and it works very well. I do recomend you keep a small plastic bottle of oil handy so as to keep the blade oiled and cutting good.

Oh my this is so nice. Got tired of those trimmers with the old style battery that would only last for 5 minutes. This Ryobi will give you more work time with less stress. Its wrap around handle is very comfortable and with the battery installed has good balance. The removable debris sweep is a nice feature for working with items that get trimmed close, it'll pull the debris out of your way making it easier to work with..... I also like the storage sabre, which is easy to install or remove. This will not only protect the equipment but yourself too. Great tool.

Just took this on its maiden adventure. The battery seemed to last for the duration of my needs and still had enough juice to do more shrubs with battery to spare. Such an improvement compared to my last cordless trimmer. The debris brush is very handy as well. Cordless tech has come a long way and it is evident in this tool collection.

Easy to use. I already have several Ryobi tools and batteries.

It's light weight and I finished the seven hedges in half the time. I kept using my electric trimmer too long. I should have purchased this new one MUCH sooner.
