[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old electric hedge trimmer finally gave up. I decided to purchase the 18v 22' trimmer. What a great choice! It's light weight and I finished the seven hedges in half the time. I kept using my electric trimmer too long. I should have purchased this new one MUCH sooner.

woks great on bottle brush trimming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this yesterday along with an 18 inch pole model to upgrade from my smaller ryobi hedge trimmer. What used to take me half a day to complete(I have a lot of shrubs and bushes) only took me about an hour and a half! Very strong motor so far, reminds me of a gas echo model I had years ago minus the rip cord. Recommend very much.

I use this for trimming overgrown 4 wheeler trails. I find it much safer than using a string trimmer for the vertical cuts

My First time owning a Ryobi and I’ve had a horrible experience!! I have many bushes , I am only able to trim 4 out of my 11 bushes when the battery goes dead ! The battery doesn’t have what it takes the Get the Job Done ! I will return it and buy an echo or Stihl .

The safety trigger is stuck half way through first use and now doesnt turn off unless the battery is removed. Lemon or poor quality, not sure

All that I could have asked for

My wife's bible study class bought this for their pastor. We have the same one and have used it for about four years. It's a fantastic machine, easy to handle and a 4 amp battery lasts for at least two hours. He used ours and now has his own! Ryobi products are great!

maybe I need new batterys, but will not run long on a charge not near what they say.

Works amazing and no cord to worry about is the absolute best part! Very impressive tool with good design makes for comfort and ease while using! Love my Ryobi tools!!

Trimmer is nice it would be nice if the battery came with it, all this is a form of price gouging

Broke after first use.

I had an old one that cut just as fast and used way less battery power. I am starting to think this brushless one may have an issue. It cuts fine, but just drains large batteries.
