Didn’t try using the nailer, didn’t want to send back a used product. Returned item because it was to heavy even without the battery.

I returned it. I tried to get ahold of tech support at Ryobi the day I had to order the gun, to no avail. There was no help no responce to my request to call me, and they hav.nt responded yet!
I ordered, it was rediculously heavy(which was not in the write up and you had to add air pressure.
If I need to carry a compressor I may as well use the ol' hose model.

Used this gun for a home project. Very heavy, and doesn't hold many nails, so had to stop frequently. Will also jamb at certain angles. Having said all that, it still beats a hammer and nail. When it works, it's great. Would recommend for small jobs around the house.

Wow. So much easier than the compressor, air hose and gun. Load and go. Easy loading the nails. Proper sinking. Quick and easy clean up with no hassel.

garbage
Fails to function after firing 12 nails. Lights up red as if there is an issue with the battery. Four fully charged brand new batteries and the nail gun still does not function. It lights up green when ready. Makes a noise like it’s trying to function properly but doesn’t fire a nail. No jams, clean outta the box… i will be returning this

I have used air nailers for fifty years. I bought my first battery powered nail gun and couldn’t be more pleased. This nail gun set ten Grip Rite 21 degree nails flush one right after another. Then I tested the contact feature and was not disappointed. I no longer have to deal with compressors, hoses, blown diagrams or leaking o-rings. Great solution and a prime example of the market producing a product that people want vs govt mandates.

User error I believe
Was reading all of the reviews with only one star and it appears to me that those people are experiencing how the gun notifies the user when that secret air tank built into the gun needs to be refreshed. Just a guess but seems appropriate. I don't know why the response from ryobi didn't explain this. ??

Heavy but good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's heavy but it drives nails without a hose and compressor. I'm still learning the tool but so far I've good results without any jams/misfires. If you're already on the ;One+ platform and have HP batteries this is a good option.

Waste of Time
This tool is a complete waste of time, we bought this to make our project go faster but we spent souch time trying to figure out what's going on. Brand new tool, brand new nails and this nailer is already acting up after we used it to fire a few nails and it just quits giving us a red, green, red, green, red lights. We changed to a fully charged battery and still it won't work. For at least $290 you'd expect it to work but it only disappoints. Will return this product, not worth it.

After a few dozen nails it’s wonderful. Was using in edge of pond building a pier so no compressor needed was awesome. It fully drives thru PT 2x’s into PT.

Framed a 3 story 5-Plex with this nailer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a framer and finish carpenter by trade. I bought my 21* framing nailer in January of 2023 and used it for 3 months straight, in below freezing temps (-5* to 70* f) and framed (inside and outer) walls of a 3 story 5-plex in Montana's winters. I've likely driven over 15,000 3" nails with this gun and it only misfired due to bad plastic nail racks and rarely at that.
I would 100% recommend this tool to Any Framer who wants a quality tool for a more than decent price. 1 6ah HP battery easily lasted an 8 hour work day.

Outstanding Nailer
