Great little saw for a fab price. I just finished my first project, an outside farm table with the help of my new 10" Ryobi mitre saw. I'm excited to collect more Ryobi tools for future projects.

I've been using a Rigid chop saw for years but obviously couldn't make accurate miter cuts so I broke down and bought this Ryobi one because I use Ryobi for everything else. The Rigid saw isy husband's and it was time to get my own. It's user-friendly and functions really well, and I understand having the need for the safety guard, but its awful. I struggle to see through it because it's more opaque then clear and I'm constantly tipping my head to the side because I want to see for myself where the blade is. I got used to working without one and having that guard is a hindrance to my view which to me defeats the purpose, so I find myself using it just for miter cuts and running back to the old guard less one to do the things I'm not supposed to do. At least they made it easy to pull the guard back with one-handed ease when necessary. I use my thumb to hold it up right next to the power handle and still have a free hand to position the wood.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this in a set with the 10 inch sliding compound miter. This stand is very solid out of the box. Everything went together smoothly without much effort. When it’s set up on solid ground it is very sturdy and has very little give. I have been very impressed with the quality. I have not used it a lot yet but all the joints seem to be sturdy which was my concern. So far a solid thumbs up for Ryobi on this Miter stand.

I was cutting some firewood into chunks for my smoker. Blade caught in the wood and the force snapped the fence in half. After the fence snapped it hit the saw support and cracked the back of the table, Looking at the metal it is all cheap cast aluminum, which has basically zero tensile strength. I assume somewhere in the manual it says not to cut short pieces of wood, but a saw should be built strong enough to react out it's own forces. It's not like I dropped it, I was cutting a piece of wood.

I'm a DIYer who really want to install crown molding after painting my entire home. Got this stand to use with my newly purchased 10" Dewalt miter saw, which aligned with the stand brackets. Got the stand on sale plus veteran discount. I'm a 40ish woman. Stand assembly easy and instructions to mount the miter saw was easy as well. satisfied with this purchase.

Stand works great, especially for the price. Was easy to assemble and works great with my double miter sliding dewalt miter saw. Might buy one of these stands for my personal use at home now. Only thing I wish it had was wheels to roll it as it is heavy with the saw on it. Can't beat it for the price though.

The build quality of this stand so poor that I knew I'd be returning it 10 minutes after getting it out of the box. The legs were uneven, cheap plastic caps on the stand were already smashed in, and a cheap plastic cap on the mounting bracket just fell off before I even had a chance to use it. I'm going with the DeWalt DWX 724. If I couldn't afford it I'd go with saw horses and plywood before buying this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife bought me this stand for Christmas and it is just great. Took about 5 minutes to set it up including the mitter saw. It extends up to 8 feet and is very strong and stable when cutting lumber and aluminum profiles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price I was expecting less than great quality but to my surprise it is far better than I expected. My Dewalt 12" sliding miter saw fits perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stand is well made and a great price. Ryobi is just as good if not better than the other tool guys at half the price. 75% of my power tools are ryobi. I just wish they made some of there products in the usa.

Once I figured out the safety switch it cut fast&cleanly. However, with one use the work clamp part on the end broke off and could not be put back on. I have now lost it completely. That part is very poorly made and needed to keep the boards in place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it a week ago and it's simple and perfect. 90 percent of the time my saw is set up in 1 location so no need for wheels. It's light weight and easy to set up. It's strong and sturdy and gets the job done.

The screws used on the support of miter saw platform are too soft. When I tightened them I can’t loosen them anymore because the screw threads were stripped. Spent quite some effort to remove two of them. Please consider using some better steel. Overall the price is attractive. I’d rather have no screws at all than wasting time replacing them.

Very durable, built right. Almost no plastic on this stand, I believe it will last for years to come. I would recommend to anyone considering. Works well with my Dewalt DWS715

On a 45 degree bevel cut the blade will hit the plastic ditch instead of passing through cleanly. Good miter for price if all your doing is straight cuts. Also can't cut 5" trim. Too tall. I can't lay it down flat because blade would tear up the ditch (and damage blade) and standing the 5" trim straight up is too tall for this unit (see pics). With trim stood upright you can cut 3" down but then you run out of blade. So my suggestion is that if you buy this to stick to 3 inch trim or less then you can perform straight or corner cuts fine with trim stood upright.

I'm a tradesmen by day and a custom at home fabricator at night, I needed something so cut angles and this works just fine when changing out the metal wood cutting blade to a compound metal cutting wheel and it does just fine. my only two issues is that the green plastic center where the blade passes through will melt and the clamp for the work piece is fixed across the far side of the cutter so I find myself holding smaller pieces against the back stop with my hand. my suggestion to the creators is to keep the corkscrew design for the clamp but to have a track for the clamp to move left and right for shorter work pieces and to make the green plastic center piece metal. I've put this thing through a good amount of work and it seems to be holding up just fine.

Awesome saw. Looks great, works great, and extremely easy to use.

I have been remodeling a old house. It has worked great doing molding and trim.

Looks complicated but easy to use with safety features, I used for my floor panels which I installed in several rooms.

Saw works very well. I'm very satisfied with it.

Quick and easy setup. I love how the integration within the brand works seamlessly. Even my cat was impressed!

I bought it to make frames for my diamond art, it slides easily and got the 6 frames done with a breeze!

I also bought the stand to mount the miter saw on. I had so much fun with this saw that I took my small deck apart, made straighter cuts in the wood, then put it back together. It looks so much better

I love this stand! Its really heavy duty and I don't think I would want to work without it. I have had it for over 2 years, still working perfectly, no complaints.....worth the money!!!!

Works great. We used it to cut Landscaping Timbers.

I have owned this saw for about a year and a half. I noticed after using this saw several times that the cuts were a little off. After closer inspection it was because the fence was completely crooked. There are no adjustments that are possible with this saw so I am stuck with a misaligned miter saw meant for precision cuts. I would recommend spending the extra money on DeWalt tools. I know I will from now on.

Ryobi is a great brand for the price. This stand is sturdy, easy to collapse and the quick release mount makes removing the saw a breeze. The only thing it is missing is a mount for a pencil and tape measure
