Overachiever
It definitely sets rapidly. I bought a bag to make a couple molded decorative pieces. The cement was hardening as I was mixing it in a tub and wouldn't achieve a pouring consistency. 5 minutes after adding water it was too hard to do anything with. Maybe I got a bad bag but I won't try another. It's too expensive to gamble with

    Georgetown store selling OLD cement
Cement doesn't harden correctly. The date made is July 2023. it's OLD and has lost its fast hardening property. Check before you buy !

          Excellent product, superior strength.
I used Cement All to parge over my existing concrete steps. I stamped the freshly trowelled surface, added some charcoal dye, and sealed the surface. Everyone has commented on the job, certainly not something that could be done with plain old parging mix, or concrete. Note, I did use Control Set with the Cement All to give me a little more time with the stamping process.

          Very smooth surface! Nice!
I make molded cement stones to paint on for garden meditative stones. This makes beautiful smooth surfaces for painting, and is durable for the elements.

Happy with outcome for my concrete leaves, see photo. Realized I was taking too long trimming along edges of leaves, the concrete had started to get hard in bucket. My error! Just shows how fast it sets up. Will definitely use again from HD next summer with even bigger leaves.

Love this product. I just completed a lady sitting on a rock bench, completely out of concrete using this product. I had just finished a concrete giraffe before the concrete girl. This concrete provided many happy hours during Covid shutdown.

            Cement Used Differently
We use this cement differently than most people would. We make cement face planters and coasters with the cement. It's great that it is not only fast drying but also not too many air bubbles which is helpful for the coasters.

I used this product to cast concrete flowerpots. Stripped the forms to reveal a beautifully smooth finish that is as tough as nails. Best bag concrete I've used in my 30 years of concrete experience.

I used Rapid Set Cement All to resurface deeply pitted and spalling poured concrete porch. It works as advertised, and quickly. Plan out your project and be ready to work it, fore it hardens quickly and you have no time to dawdle. I resurfaced large horizontal area, so I mixed one-half bag in bucket with spade handled mixer to a flowable consistency. Once poured on surface, I troweled it in and gave it a brush finish with wet mason's brush; then mixed another half bucket. Tool clean-up was more challenging that ordinary concrete or mortar because it set so rapidly and hard.

I used this product to patch crumbling areas of my brownstone front and stoop. It worked exactly as described. Product exceeded my expectations . You must follow instructions. I researched this product before I purchase it and I suggest you watch the YouTube vide. I finished the repaired areas with a masonary coating called MasterSeal 658 Walkway Sealant and MasterProtect HB 200 Exterior Paint,  formerly known as Thorocoat. Both items were purchased tinted to my existing Thorocoat paint. It turned out beautifully because the coating hides imperfections. Received many compliments on the Cement All repair and inquiries from contractors in the area who wanted to know what I was using.

It worked well for the application I had, patching holes in a wall. It was easy to work with and the rapid set held in place better than slower set cement.

This concrete dries in 45 - 60 minutes, at a thickness of 3/4 inch. We used it to pour concrete tiles to place on the outside edge of a concrete deck. The tiles were attached with mortar, grouted, and stained to create a decorative outside deck wall.

I used this product to repair my chimney. I had used the same brand of rapid mix mortar to repair and then used it to stucco the whole chimney and then used the Cement All for the finish coat. I had spoken to the reps at the company prior to starting the project. I also called one time during the project to make sure I was properly using the products. It looked great when it was finished, but just a few days later, it started coming off in large chunks. The chimney looks worse than when I started. It also stained my roof. I called the company that makes the product and Home Depot and neither one is helping with this problem. Not to mention all the hours spent on it.

Great product when used properly. Testing the product on a small area, I mixed a batch right from the bag with enough to cap a step and liked the results. Trying it on a 12' x 12' patio presented a real challenge. Mixing 1 bag to the consistency of pancake batter and started pouring a trail over a moistened clean concrete slab. It wasn't flowing out at all, so I began misting the Cement All with a hose to keep it from drying while I was working it with an 18" Squeegee. The additional water helped get it under control, but it was setting faster than I wanted. The work was done at night and the weather was cool. I didn't think I would need retarder or additives, but it was a good thing I had purchased several bags of Concrete Pharmacy Set Control and Concrete Pharmacy Flow Control, so I used then in the next batch. The ratio I used was 1 bag of Cement All, 1 bag of Flow control, 2 bags of Set Control. As far as I'm concerned, Set and Flow products are mandatory for achieving a controlled finish on a floor using Cement All and a successful combination for my project.

                  Strong cement for restructuring
I used this product to repair a broken corner on a concrete porch. It was easy to work with horizontally and vertically. I mixed up about 4 cups of the cement and built up the broken corner. I am going to resurface the top and sides after the corner has fully cured, which will take about 21 days. After I restructured the corner, I braced it with plywood pieces to keep the cement from sagging while it was hardening during the first 24 hours. I misted it every 15 minutes during that day and a couple of times during the next day. Before I applied the cement I wire brushed any loose concrete from the area and used my leaf blower to clean the area. The instructions said to wet the surface but not let any puddles form so I had to do that first. You will want to have everything ready before you start because you only have about 3 minutes to work with the cement before it starts to harden. If you want a smooth surface, you can use a trowel and then broom to take off the slick finish. Since I am resurfacing, I wasn't concerned with the finish at this point in my project. If you have questions, the company provides tech support by phone.
