The mantel is top quality, the fake fire is well lets just say it looks --- well kind of fake--- I guess I was expecting or hoping for more , but it makes a pretty good TV stand.

This “average” review rating is based on looks only. It’s beautiful, there is no question. It just doesn’t heat. This unit replaced a tiny cheap electric stove that heated our small room nicely. I don’t know if we received a faulty unit, but this sucker puts out very little warmth.

The REALFLAME ASHLEY fireplace was very easy to assemble and the appearance of the "fire" itself was as real-looking as an electric fireplace could be. Not as real looking as a gas one would be but less expensive and easier to install.

Very cute and classy looking. Great authentic feel. I do wish the heat fam pushed air out father. It does not do much in warming the 200 sqf that I wanted to heat.

I love my new fireplace. While it is electric and does not have the crackling of fire it most definitely gives out the warmth of having a real one. There is some noise when the heat goes on but honestly you soon seem to not notice it. Makes the room cozy.

This was a gift to my soon to be 25-year-old daughter. She was over the moon with the color, size and coziness ❤️

Best electric fireplace ever. Did research on them for one year. This seemed the best. Put it in between 2 bookshelves from ikea. Looks great. Get the black one, blackwash, I believe the name is. Assembled easy. Took one hour. No complaints. Shipped fast, in 2 boxes.

Quality product. Very well constructed. Assembly not very difficult. Assembly time took about an hour. Has the real look of a fireplace mantel that is custom built. Flames look as about real as it can for an electric fire place.

We were very pleased with this Ashley fireplace. It was very easy to put together....excellent directions. Looks exactly like the picture. Have had it about a month and so far no problems.

My husband and I purchased this Ashley Electric Fireplace & Love It!!!!! It took around 2 hours to put together - but my husband took his time - everything was good with the shipping & we had no damaged items - Thank you Home Depot and Ashley - My New Living Room looks Beautiful!!!!!

Not as big as i pictured, but is very pretty and warms my room very well. Haven't had to use it much yet, since we have had warm winter temps, but it does work well. Was easy to put together following instructions, but be ready to spend about 3-4 hours for the installation.

Not a hard assembly, good instructions, nice looking. A little smaller in form than I thought, but would fit perfectly in a smallish living room.

Very disappointed with this. Barely gives off heat and it's black not black washed. Looks nothing like the picture. If I had the time I'd take it apart and send it back. Save your money and get something worthwhile

Excellent ! It may indeed need a dedicated circuit. If I run it with the heater selection on, and the TV, the table lamp, and microwave (all on same circuit, it can flip the breaker LOL) I was worried about the sound it makes, since I am sensitive to noise in my home. After two days I was used to it and like it! And believe me, I am picky about annoying sounds. I love it and so does everyone who sees it. It has a very elegant look.

It's beautiful and sturdy. Love the real flame and you can have just the flame going without the heater. It looks real and makes a wonderful accent piece as well as practical use

Looks good but functionally stupid. The programmable remote allows you to choose from six heat settings ONLY. You can only choose the following temps, 71, 75, 78, 82, 86, & 99. Who wants their home to be 99 degrees. This is the dumbest fireplace I have ever seen. What if I want 68 degrees. Can't be done. Pass on this one folks.

I had a handyman put it together for me, it looked too hard for me to do. It looks really nice in our home......

The remote control stopped working after two weeks. The heater function will only work at 99 degrees, whereas the temperature control worked well for about two weeks. The frame and mantel are beautiful, getting lots of compliments.

This really is a nice fireplace and looks great in my living room. It's large and looks almost like it came with the style of the house. It was easy to assemble....took about an hour, and I'm a female. The different light and heat settings are nice. The fan is a little louder than I would like. The product is solid and sturdy on carpet. The only disappointing thing, besides the customer service, was that the mantle came with a large warped bubble across the center. Home Depot did end up replacing that part. The two disappointed things were the mantle and the customer service. The mantle top came with a warped bubble down the center. When I called to have that piece replaced, the customer service person said he would have a new one rushed. The weeks later, nothing. I called, and he had never processed the order. The second person I spoke with seemed to get things ordered correctly. Although, it took another two weeks for it to come.
