Used this for threading galvanized pipe to brass fitting. Great seal.

Even though it says it is a pipe thread sealant (and the previous poster had problems with that application) I don't use it for that. I use it under rubber hoses when attaching them to a hose bib with a stainless steel clamp. I seals very well, and more importantly to me, allows me to remove the hoses on my boat two years later when it is time to clean out heat exchangers, aftercoolers, etc. It can be messy and runny if you don't stir it up from the bottom, takes some practice to apply it neatly.

So far so good. No leaks

If you are working on any brass or black pipe I would use this on threaded fittings that aren't flanged. It creates a great seal and has longevity in mind.

Used product while installing gas hot water tank- works great.

It did the job, would purchase again

Seals well, I use it for Air, water, gas Etc. Never had a leak with it. Terribly messy though. if you get it on your clothes, it is NEVER coming out.
