A completely satisfactory, attractive, cheap way to temporarily cover a window. It's a bit tedious to "raise" the shade daily; the pleats flatten with hanging. The adhesive on the top sticks to smooth surfaces only -- drywall with texture won't hold. Still, I am very pleased with this shade.

The shades provide decent translucent coverage and the length is great for glass panel.French doors. The only caution I would share is that the white color of these shades is a very bright white. The shorter length light filtering Redi Shades were a much softer shade of white which matched the Builder's white trim paint perfectly. The four 90" shades I purchased for door coverage do not match all the shorter white light filtering Redi Shades covering all the standard size windows in the room. Also, I recommend adding some additional adhesive (double sided tape) when hanging the shades if they will be receiving alot of sunlight or air movement from the vents.

The Redi Shade is exactly what I needed for the summer. However, the shades fall out of some of the windows. I don't know if it is the shade or how I've put them up. I'm not giving up because they serve the purpose and reason why I bought them.

These looked nice, but fell from many of the windows in just a few days. Rehanging them is easy but when they fell, the "tape" part fell onto the good parts in the front and pulled away some of it so they no longer look good.

Paper shades
They are great for a temporary fix. Don't rely on the sticky strip, use push pins.

Redi shade 48x90"
We ordered 5 to temporarily cover sliding glass doors while we were away. We put them up two days before we left. The next day two of the shades had fallen off and were on the floor. We rehung them with tape and they are staying up. It's a cheap way to cover your windows especially if it is temporary.

The shades provided privacy and light filtering but the wider size had trouble staying attached. I had to put blue painters tape on the top to help keep the shade in place but t would still come loose. Waiting for permanent blinds to arrive. Paper shades are ok for a temporary fix but not long term.

Its ok for a temporary shade…not sturdy enough to be moved up and down very many time. If you’ve just moved it, it could be a lifesaver, but plan on replacing it with a more permanent solution pretty quickly

Exceeded expectations in appearance and ease of installation. Using as temporary shades while deciding on permanent window treatments in a new home. With new unpainted windows, these stuck like flypaper... get it right the first time. Got two different sizes and found easy to trim to exact width desired with sharp utility knife and patience (a few layers with each cut). From outside, when fully lowered, you can't tell these are paper shades if you do not know. The stock picture in advertisement of a partially raised shade would be hard to replicate, but you can keep them raised to the desired height with 2-3 of the provided clips, depending on width - mine came with one clip for each of the 12 shades I ordered, so you may want extras if you want to raise regularly -- I don't.

Hit & Miss
I like the product but the adhesive on some are not very good. Some of the shades stayed in place while others fell down repeatedly. I had some of these many years ago and lasted without falling from initial installation until the house was sold 10 years later. Quality must have suffered. If you purchase, yours may stay up or fall down. Hit and or miss

I did return the shades to a store, because I didn't realize that they were the "cordless" type. My four windows are very tall - almost 8 feet (in a high rise) and adjusting cordless would be too much work. But, Redi-Shade makes a good product and I've bought them before for windows that were not as tall. The light filtering variety is always to my needs; easy to size, easy to install.

Excellent value, but NOT 72" long
These are an excellent value to provide privacy and light filtering while I decide on a longer term solution, and they are very easy to install. However, the 72" length is inaccurate, as they fell well short on a large window that is 70" H, even after 2+ weeks with 4 clips on the bottom of each. Maybe if you ironed out all the pleats it's 72", but for practical purposes I wouldn't recommend on a window taller than about 60". Works great on a standard window, though!

Good quality heavy parchment-like paper look good both down and clipped to top with a fan-like appearance at each end.
Only fault is the spring retaining clips are far too weak and fail to grip the paper securely enough so the clips often fly off when trying to fold up the blind which is very frustrating and annoying.

A great, cheap wolution
Paper blinds are not forever, they will change color over time with moisture in the air, especially in the bathroom, but they are a great solution for temporary shades, Windows in rooms not frequently used, etc.
These were nice, light filtering and suitable while we saved up to get others.

Redishade Paper Filtering Shades
I would recommend this for someone wanting temporary blinds or for a place you can not put a permanent blind. The adhesive tape does not work well. I bought heavy duty velcro to hang them with which worked well. They accomplish what I needed done so it works well for me. I would have preferred them to be much thicker but again they are paper.

Great for Temporary window covering
I ordered these for temporary coverings on my bedroom windows. They work great. I had them shipped to the store for pickup. I don't know where it happened, either in shipping or in the store the box was "crunched" a little so the shades were as well, but they are temporary so no biggie.

Theyll work for temporary
The product is ok and does what it's suppose to. There's nothing fancy about them, they are paper. The sticky tape to hold them works great as long as you be sure to press the single pleat it's adhered to to ensure all the tape is sticking properly. This size is not available in any of our home stores.
This package does NOT come with the clips to hold them open, or at least our package didnt come with them. Our blinds also arrived damages as if they were shoved carelessly in the box. They are not individually wrapped like othee varieties in store are. Home Depot offered an exchange but we would have had to send ours back and wait for a return package - wasn't going to work for our time frame.
