So far so good had it for a couple of weeks and no problems Plenty of hot water and installation was pretty basic. Igniting the unit was better then the old one I replaced which made more convenient

Unit was easy to install. I replaced a 10 year old 29 gallon unit with this one. Took me about 2 hours. Had to trim the exhaust fleu but that was it.

DONT BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY OR RHEEM
We bought a 38 gallon Rheem. I paid the extra 100 for the extended warranty. It said Parts and Labor. It's been 5 years and the igniter broke twice. They did pay for that after a week of hassle each time trying to get someone out to the house. The factory warranty would also have paid for this. Now the heater just completely drained all over the floor and it needs to be replaced. No problem right, we have the extended warranty. Except they don't pay for installation. And we have to pay the difference. So I have to take the water heater out, bring it in to home depot, get a new one and install it. What did I get over the factory warranty?

Name brand for good price. So far no problems. Had it professionally installed. Didn’t want to take any chances since it was a gas hot water tank.
