I was very happy to find a gas water heater...
I was very happy to find a gas water heater close enough to the old one that I did not have to have an electrician add an electrical outlet. Nor did the installer have to alter the placement of the exhaust exit hole.

Nice water heater pipe the pipe...
Nice water heater pipe the pipe diameter was 6” inches vs the existing 5”. I had to reduce and use 5” through the block and brick wall. The old water heater had feet on the bottom the new one did not. I needed to block the bottom to adjust the height. It started fine and is working.

We needed to upgrade from an improperly installed updraft style to a direct vent style water heater in our home. Unit works great and so quiet that you question if it is running. It uses silicone bands to seal tubes which are a little cheesy but worked fine in the end. Would 110% buy it again!

Well it may be a good water heater, it was a great price! But the thermostat was faulty! So they had to order a new one that I'm waiting on to arrive to get it installed. Meanwhile we are having to take cold showers!

I replaced a 30 year old Rheem direct vent water...
I replaced a 30 year old Rheem direct vent water heater with another one. The original one was a 40 gal. and this is 50 gal. Other than that, it was “almost” a direct swap. The venting ductwork is updated now but is no easier to install. The tank was quite damaged upon pick up but I took it anyway.
