Stored this junk for all of six months unopened, in a temperature controlled environment. went to use it and it was totally worthless so either Home Depot decides to keep it on the shelf for way longer than it needs to be there. they used to carry a company brand called TEC go figure not only was it open and I just taped off the end but that lasted for literally a year and work perfectly fine. so clearly the chemical compound in this is entirely subpar and doesn't have proper shelflife.

This 30 fl. oz. Wall and Cove Base Adhesive in Cartridge Tube is well made and it is super economic. It delivers a great result at a very good price. Used it to glue times on the floor and it worked very well. I will definitively buy again if i need it.

I used Roberts Adhesive when installing peel-n-stick linoleum tiles vertically on the wall as a backsplash. I was pleased with it's performance. The tiles were surprisingly heavy even though they are linoleum, so I wanted to be sure they were secure. When applying the adhesive, there is just enough of an open window to allow last minute adjustments if necessary. There is no odor whatsoever. I like the consistency, because it stayed on the wall as I applied it using a caulking gun. It didn't run or fall off the wall at all. It's just right.

Didn't know in advance that I had to buy a large caulking gun. That was the only issue for us. My adult sons were able to install the vinyl baseboard in a timely manner. The product that we purchased along with the adhesive -- Roberts recommended spray nozzle worked well. Because we put the cove base on concrete walls in some areas, we had to use extra adhesive, but it got the job done. We are in the process of making our basement functional and the cove base put on with this adhesive is really making the place look professionally complete. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for non wood baseboards!

Kitchen project complete!
The last step to our recent kitchen rehab was to put up the baseboard molding and an end panel for the island cabinet. This adhesive caulk was used on both. When I re-did the bathroom I used standard adhesive caulk for the baseboards before I found this stuff. The difference that I could see is that this is a lighter composition, comes out kind of like a foam and is not as inclined to drip out of the tube when you are not looking. It dried faster and filled gaps well. I still used nails to tack things in place, but only a few. I had hoped to not have to use nails on the cabinet end panel, but just like the longer baseboard, it needed something to secure it in place while the adhesive dried. Bottom line is that this is good for light weight adhesive projects.
