Purchased about 1 year ago. Assembly took 2 people about 3 hours. It has withstood high winds, a foot of snow, and heavy rains. Bone dry inside. I suspect some of the negative reviews might be due to improper assembly or out-of-level foundation. My shed is solid and looks awesome in my backyard.

Easily assembled and a nice addition to my backyard!

Although the two colors offered are close we defintely got panels that were mix match and didnt notice until it was fully installed, ordered the gray and got half beige half gray in the box. One good wind storm in Maine and this shed was toast. $1,300 for five months of storage for my yard tools…what a waste.

This thing collapsed first wind storm of the season. It was built as per instructions and anchored on a level concrete pad. The base survived the wind, but the flimsy poorly designed roof did not and of course the rest came crashing down afterwards. Holes are all sheared where screws should be connected and wall panel connectors have torn through making this useless and for the garbage. THIS SHOULD COME WITH A WARNING

this shed has been nothing but a headache to build nothing lined up it's roof is not the right size, the cross members were way too long so the roof was really hard to assemble. the window was broke , none of the holes lined up when installing everything. I'm sure with the first wind storm I'm gonna lose everything and rain!

We purchased this less than a year ago, built on a solid, even surface, and the thing started coming apart. No items were placed on the walls to cause the wall fitting to come undone. Called the company, Rubbermaid and the guy asked for pictures and said based on his expertise the problem was we built on pavers. It is unbelievably bad how these companies get away with selling bad products with no consequences beyond a bad review.

Just the right size for my needs.

Love this shed so far - its cute and seems very sturdy and will be perfect to store my yard and pool supplies.. I’m 118 lbs, 5’2” female and was able to put together myself on a windy day. (Took 7 hours though - maybe 2 people could do it in 2 as stated, but probably closer to 4). I used the app and instructions were easy to follow.

HD set this shed in my full size pickup with a forklift. The box weighs 322 pounds. Went together ok looking at a detailed online video along with the written instructions. Took my time, and with some "fa-nag-a-ling" got it together. I didn't like the way the middle roof piece attached to the dormer, so added some brackets for more strength. (pic 5) Last night we had a bad storm and 1.6" rain, and shed stayed dry. Time will tell on durability. (tip - keep panels FLAT before installing)

Shed is as expected; sturdy and easy to build. I did add a dozen brackets on the interior corners to help sure it up.

I really like this shed. I used the online video to assist in assembly and things went smoothly. I did most of the assembly process by myself. I used a helper to hold a panel or two while pounding them into place. Speaking of the panels, keep them FLAT, especially if they are in the sun. I had staged a few of the panels on their sides, leaning them up against the side of my house during the assembly. This caused them to warp and bow a bit making for a difficult assembly. If you keep the panels flat on the ground you wont have that problem. A few minutes flat in the sun and the panels will flatten back out again. The steel structure members make for a solid assembly. Make sure your shed base is flat and level!!!!! Now on to the bad part. I only gave it 4 stars because the packaging is terrible. It comes in a thin cardboard box which had completely shredded during transit. Upon arrival at my house, parts were falling out of the box onto my driveway. I would have sent it back but I decided to keep it because the shippers were so rude and insensitive!!! I inventoried all the parts. I had to straighten out some of the metal supports because they had bent in transit, (falling out of the box). Rubbermaid Customer Service did an excellent job of helping me order the missing parts. I needed to send them a copy of the sales order and a few pictures of the shed. So all in all a good experience and great shed. RubberMaid needs to improve on their packaging, (put it on a pallet?), and Home Depot needs to use shippers / delivery service that actually care about the items they are delivering and LISTEN to the customer. If you can get past that, its a good buy and solid shed.

I bought this plastic shed about 4 years ago, easy to build and it served it purpose.

I had an old Rubbermaid 6x6 shed that you couldn’t kill and after many years decided to replace it with a new Rubbermaid shed, what a mistake. Rubbermaid spoiled their reputation with this one. Worst design I’ve ever seen, must be a Chinese import. Cheap, cheap, cheap.

Roof panels sagged and separated, lock pins fall out. Doors have no latch . Not enough thought was put in to this design.

I cannot believe the decent reviews on this shed. It's the biggest piece of garbage. It was garbage from the minute we put it together. This weekend the front part of the roof even fell off. We've had it for about 7 or 8 months. The doors are garbage and you have to slam them shut to get them to close properly. There is no lock on the doors, no shelf inside.. this isn't a problem except that I've seen other sheds that are much nicer for the same price with those things included. I do not recommend AT ALL.

It sucks! Falls apart during any storm . Like for real! Just falls right apart. Why would they make this that way???

We had a line of thunderstorms roll through 6 months after erecting this shed. The storm has 60mph gust. Nothing to sneeze at. But if I would have taken the $800 for this shed and put it towards a similar sized wood one like my neighbors then I'd still have a shed and not a huge pile of plastic I have to find some way to dispose of. It's much easier to just burn $800 dollar bills.

Do not buy! This shed only lasted 6 months before I found it all spread out in my yard. The warranty did not cover it. I thought I could at least get 2 years out of it. I will never buy this brand again.

The pieces barely fit together, the plastic is extraordinarily thin and weak. We put it together and it lasted about one year before we had a good wind come through and blow it to pieces. A complete waste of money. Would definitely not recommend.

Shed up 2 months before the wind destroyed it. In the past, I have had Rubbermaid storage bins & they were tough. This shed had walls that were half the thickness of the old bins. Hardware was thin & cheap. Plastic floor cracked during installation. I put a wood floor over the plastic one. Installation was straight forward, but first good wind destroyed the shed. See attached photos. Wind did not even knock over any Christmas decorations. 5 stars to HD customer service for taking this mess back.

Wanted to love this. Once you start to assemble it, it becomes apparent how cheap it is so you end up wasting time for Rubbermaid to send replacement pieces -no heads up about the delivery btw, and then you waste money on lumber to reinforce the shed to keep it all aligned. I’ve had this shed for less than 6 months and the walls have started to warp and buckle over the summer and this week we’re having a rainstorm and i see the black middle roof panel has now buckled so there’s water getting in.

Great product very sturdy. I built it by myself but suggest two people. I used the online instructional app to assist with building instructions

This 7x7 foot shed met our expectations. It is beautiful and sturdy. The assembly has easy to follow step by step instructions. It does take a few hours to assemble. The delivery box weight is over 300 pounds. I would definitely recommend this product.

It seems to be well engineered but it is not a one-man project.

After less than 3 months, the sidewall of the shed that sees direct sunlight popped off due to the thermal expansion of the plastic. I reached out to Rubbermaid, and they offered to send a new side panel, which would require almost full disassembly of the shed, but said that I'd likely need to move it to the shade to prevent this from happening again. I don't have another area for the shed, and don't wan to deal with this again, so I'm effectively out $900. They wouldn't give any refund.

It's a good thing I am a professional problem solver because this thing took two days and had plenty of assembly issues. Many parts did not fit tightly. The summer heat made the plastic overly pliable and it warped easily. Pro-tip: It would be much more stable if it had cross-supports on the sidewalls. I ended up making my own. It does look nice, 5 stars for overall looks. The BILT app is cool. Overall review: I wish I had gone with a metal shed.

This is a very nice little shed that looks just like the picture (minus the planters). It isn't inexpensive to pay for assembly - we paid about the same for that as for the shed. It took two men the better part of the day (including the construction of a wood platform to even out the land on which it sits). The contractor commented on how nicely the pieces went together, but I don't think the video, which suggests the work can be done in a couple of hours, is probably accurate. That said, we are very happy with the size, the way it looks on our property, and the solid construction.

Looking at the initial plastic materials, I thought it might be too light weight to withstand our Massachusetts snow storms. My friend gave me an idea for heavy duty hinges. The home repair guy assemble it and he anchored the edges, floors with hinges. Beautiful, well assembled and durable shed. I'm loving it. F.y.i, Get hinges. It keeps it strong enough for heavy weather.
