This did not turn out the way it shows on the cap I did everything the directions said. Very few areas look accordingly. Just looks like a metallic silver. I painted the base to a older bubblegum machine.

I was so upset when my grill had so much discoloration and rust from the snow last year and I didn't want to buy a new one. I used the spray paint and my grill looks almost as new as it was when I bought it. I gave it life again and I'm so happy. I used one can the grill and my grill is about medium size overall. The frames and table came out great too. Definitely getting again if I need it .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rust-Olean Spray Paint is the only spray paint I use. For me, the spray trigger is so much easier to use than the top nozzle. Works on many different types of surfaces, wood, plastic, metal, etc. Coverage is great and it is a paint & primer which dries to the touch in about 30 minutes. I spray paint my garden pots, outside statues, small garden fencing, anything that needs an updating. Love the Hammered look as it hides imperfections. A great product.

It covered well in the first coat (you can see some imperfections in one photo). The coverage after two light coats was excellent. It looks just like metal. I love the finish. Plus, it sprayed nicely and the paint dried quickly and had a nice/easy lock feature, so I couldn't accidentally spray anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with the Rust-Oleum Universal Hammered Metal Silver Spray Paint, it comes with a easy to use spray nozzle and sprays very well any any direction. The paint dries with a silver hammered finish and is fast drying. It can be used on wood, metal, plastic , and masonry. I had a few things in my shop that needed to be freshened up and look new again this paint did extremely well in hiding surface imperfections, and over rust. I also enjoyed that it only took one coat of paint, and it easily painted in hard to reach areas. This paint can be used indoors and outdoors. The performance of this paint is top notch I highly recommend buying!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried out the Rust-Oleum paint and primer today. I really like the trigger type spray button. It was much easier to use than traditional spray can. No clogging of hole and easy to control. It does have a strong smell ( hey it’s paint) so I recommend using outdoors or in a well ventilated space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought that there could be an advancement in spray paint- but these Rust-Oleum spray paints are definitely that! I love that the paint already includes primer, so it eliminates a full step that can also be a tedious part of the process. It also helps so much that they created a comfort handle for the spray- this is a big deal for me- I tend to do large spray jobs so this is amazing! I found that this feature makes it so much easier to use and I get the job done faster without the fatigue I typically get in my hands. Plus, the matte effect was spot on. Overall, the results are beautiful with full coverage, with a super comfortable applicator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product from rustoleum is so easy to use. No need to prime. Just make sure the surface is clean. It’s thick at his really well and will even buy in together anything loose that you may have left. It dries quickly. The spray nozzle is a good fan and there is no spitting. I used this on the metal cap on my chimney and also the exhaust stack because it can also resist some higher temperatures. I took before and after photos but unfortunately cannot find them here to post! Nevertheless, I highly recommend and the hammered finish is excellent.

I have been using this on old ornaments and it covers the shiny color with no issues. I love that this is a 2-in-1 because it cuts out the amount of steps needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for our mailbox and propane tank. I was able to get the mailbox done before the weather turned too cold and it looks great! I will have to wait until spring or warmer weather for the tank but I can’t wait!

One of my favorite textures for projects these past few months. Coats and dries well. The spray comes out vertical with about a 4 inch+ spray from 10" away. If can is angled at 90 degrees, there will be a tiny bit of drip so make sure to shake can during extended spray for more than 2 feet back and forth. Dries as described in instructions 1 hour for full coats and to handle 24 for full dry. Note: Different materials have varied reactions to the texture. Hard, gloss, plastic or dense material will have a smaller texture versus wood, metal and more porous material which will have a more spread or refined look to the texture. I have used this with and without Primers, the ideal texture depends on the material you are working with. A high tack primer will minimize the spread of the "hammer".

The paint color us beautiful, the SPRAY CAN NOZZLE LEAKS ALL OVER THE HAND!!! Bad design ever!!

Used to paint a plaque for mounting a Ring Doorbell- bronze. Amazing looking project, very pleased.

I like that you can spray at any angle and the "trigger" top makes it easy to spray. It gives great coverage with minimal fuss. I used it to paint the cast iron legs of my claw foot tub and now they look great. It covered the bare cast iron without needing a separate primer.

Was refinishing a bench that was a wedding gift over 30 years ago. I was very happy with the finish and several neighbors have asked where I purchased the new bench. Very happy with the color and texture. The hammered finish gives a great look that regular spray paint can't come close to matching.

It turned out great. The finish matches my bathroom decor the way I wanted.

this paint says it's a hammered finish black and high gloss. that is false it is definitely hammered it's definitely high gloss but this is a gunmetal gray. in no way could this ever be perceived as a black.

I've used this paint in the past with the old nozzle. It gave an authentic hammered look . this new nozzle is so inconsistent. Rust-Oleum needs to work on getting a new nozzle if they want a trigger on it that is like the old one. I've used this paint in the past that had the old nozzle and it was great. for the money I would not recommend any Hammered paint from Rust-Oleum that has this nozzle. What a disappointment. Especially at the price point I put two coats on my bench grinder and ran out.

I have a lot of white picture frame moulding and it did not go well with the picture I was framing. So, I gave this hammered finish paint a try. It worked out perfectly and looks like a factory finished frame. The paint worked out great but, don't discount my button pushing talents.

The color turned out better than imagined! Used on hardware for my kitchen! Love the look
