Nephew installed and said it was quite easy. Very pleased with the product.

The window well cover didn’t have the appropriately sized clamps. They were too large.

So easy to install the clips to hold in place. Very happy with it

I am writing this about the overall customer service and product support of Home Depot. We bought a Samsung Washer and Dryer from Home Depot this summer. Just starting using these in our newly constructed home, used for about 2 months. The washer and dryer are Samsung with front loader washer. The washer front glass burst and shattered while using the sanitize cycle. Glass everywhere. This happened 2 week ago, and both Home Depot and Samsung have yet to do one thing to replace or repair. Home Depot sell Samsung appliances BUT TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR REPAIRS. THIS IS 100% TRUE STORY. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM HOME DEPOT OR SAMSUNG AGAIN. BE WARNED. THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE. MY WASHER HAS SAT WITH A SHATTERED FRONT AND NOW SMELLS MOLDY AND NO ONE CARES. THIS IS NOT A CRAZY RANT - THIS IS A VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED CONSUMER!!!

This is a solid cover that fits my custom-built casement window well perfectly

A good window well cover with thick plastic and a metal reinforcement along the back edge. It's not truly universal unless you have the tools to cut the plastic and metal brace in back down to size. When you do that you lose the lip that surrounds the outside edge which lessens the effectiveness around the window well. It wasn't designed to be hinged in back so I modified mine to make it that way. On my window it extends over the well opening a little so it's not pretty but it functions and that's all I care about.

If your window well is ground level this would work great but because we have a raised window well and the cover was not the exact shape of our window well it did not work for us.

It covers the window well. And it's clear so it allows light through and stops water, which is great. Iv'e put large coblestones under it so it tilts away from the house, otherwise water collects on the window. And I've put coblestones on the outside edges to weigh it down in case of strong winds. A bit cludgy.

Very nice quality product. Could use a couple extra hold-downs, I put 4 extra on each for my situation, but other than that Great Product!

This item was flimsy. It did not provide adequate protection to keep someone from falling into the window well if they accidentally fell onto it. Also it was clear instead of white ad depicted on the picture. I would not recommend this for a cover to a window well.

It's more flimsy then i thought it would be, judging by the way it was advertised. The first time the wind blew it came right off even with a couple bricks sitting on it

I really like these covers. They fit very well, were easy to install, provide great protection, and seem very sturdy (holding up to 50mph winds recently). However, I bought two and one box had been opened and the installation hardware wasn't inside. I contacted Home Depot, who reached out to the manufacturer to get the hardware sent to me. I never heard another word. Disappointing customer service.

My contractor installed for me. I am very happy with the product. The cover is very clear transparent and light can come through very well. (The product picture at Home Depot does not show it is clear and transparent).

Flimsy and did not fit the window well very well. Lots of standing water on ot.

Drill required for installation, but super easy. Keeps baby birds from failing into our egress window well. Highly recommend

Easy to drill through in order to mount the clips that hold the cover to the escape well walls

Fit the window well. Though the way our house was built there is no way to easily attach it to the house. Nothing a couple of bricks didn't solve. Surprised how clear the polycarbonate is you can see through to the bottom.
