Paint chipping off/ ice make broken and leaks
I bought a refrigerator, dishwashers, microwave, all in Tucson color. Oven and stove in black. All of my units are chipping paint. Ice make leaks water non stop damaging the front of my refrigerator with water stains. It’s a bad headache

    Cheaply made shelves
    We have had this refrigerator for about 3 years. The organization of the refrigerator can be frustrating regarding larger items and things get lost in the back. However the reason for this review is that we have never had a refrigerator where the plastic shelving breaks just from normal use. The bottom glass shelf over the drawers plastic outer frame cracked just from the weight of a normal item, and then the shelf on the door completely cracked and we still have no idea how that occurred. Also, the icemaker lever scratches very easily.

      I bought about 5 months ago it seems to be a good product. We have it in the open not an enclosed nook, so it’s a little loud when it’s making ice and filling the water pitcher. You may think your house is haunted in the evening when it’s supposed to be quiet. There are some features I really like the beverage/deli drawer is awesome. Meats and veggies stay fresh for a really long time. I had bell peppers in there I know at least a month and they was still crisp. The main part of the refrigerator is a little small for my liking you have to move the top shelf down to accommodate a gallon of milk and tea pitcher. Which leaves about a 5 inch space between the next shelf down. The water pitcher is a nice touch for quick cold water and filling your coffee pot. The single panel door option allows you to grab things from the shelf like jelly, creamer, etc without opening the whole door. I find this to be a nice option as well, all in all it was a good purchase.

        Pretty but junk....
        I bought this fridge a year ago and this is my review of it since. A family member has a Samsung fridge and has had issues with the ice maker dripping water and ruining the plastic over time in the dispenser area. I was hopeful that Samsung had fixed this in the last 10 years...Guess not. This fridge showed the same issue immediately after I got it. I knew there was no fix with it, so I try to keep up with cleaning the plastic regularly so it doesn't get destroyed like theirs did. On top of this, the fridge came with one dent. It got hidden by the cabinets so I didn't think much of it, but has since accumulated many other dents due to my dogs tail hitting it, kids running into it, and one happened while scrubbing it. My old fridge is 11 years old, moved downstairs, went through the same exact "abuse", and doesn't have a single dent (GE). I now get to show off this expensive fridge that looks like it sat in a hail storm. While the fridge and freezer seem to be working with no problems, the in door water dispenser often won't fill the container back up all the way. Sometimes not at all for several days. Also, the door-in-door feature... I had to have it, knowing I would use it lots; And I do. The LG fridge I was comparing this to seemed to have a much easier opening of that door, but I figured the Samsung similar was the floor model and maybe a little worn out... Nope; If you don't push the door in (with some force) before you push the button, it will almost never allow you to open just the first part of the door. Seriously...This fridge is beautiful and definitely an eye-catcher, but I will never buy another Samsung fridge. I have attached a picture of what my dispenser area looks like after getting ice a couple times and what my mom's fridge looks like. You can see the finish worn off on hers. I guess I get to look forward to that (insert the largest eye roll).

          Brand new fridge caught fire/leaking refrigerant
          4 month old refrigerator caught fire and started leaking refrigerant. Top compartment filled with black smoke. Contacted Samsung and had horrible customer service and response. I had to make several additional calls just to get a technician to diagnose the problem and get a response from Samsung. 2 weeks later I still don't know if/when my refrigerator will get replaced and the old one is still sitting in my kitchen leaking refrigerant.

              A costly mistake!
              This is a beautiful refrigerator. 2 years old. All of the plastic in the refrigerator is very brittle and cracking like plastic that was left in the sun for years. The ice maker has repeatedly frozen up and works when it wants to. The freezer won't hold a constant temp. Samsung refuses to offer any help in replacing any of the broken plastic items. We regret the purchase and will likely never choose a Samsung appliance again.

                    i reaearched fridges extensively and this is the one i selected. i wanted the flex drawer and the food showcase door. the water pitcher inside was adorable and helped me decide. we've had the fridge for 5 days and so far i absolutely love it! it’s a huge upgrade from our 11 year old side by side. the flex door provides invaluable space- especially when you have a constantly hungry teenager and tween. the shelves on the left side are slightly awkward shapes and sizes, but i made them work. the right drawer is impossible to get all the way out of the fridge for cleaning. but, bottom line- this is a beautiful appliance and seems to offer so much more storage compared to our old fridge!

                      Increased cost but lowered quality?
                      Increasing cost and reduced quality. We previously owned an older model of the same fridge and it was awesome but sold it with out house. The door handles are not as sturdy and they made inserts for a tray previously there but no longer provide the tray. On the plus side we do love the door within a door concept to grab quick items and go. It’s good but having been a previous owners of can tell quality has taken a hit

                      If a refrigerator can be called beautiful, this is the one! Very well designed, has an outer door that allows access to wine without opening the full door, great compartments for everything and that very useful flex-drawer that can either be used for frozen items or just extra refrigerator space.

                      Pitcher leaks
                      The unit comes with a built in pitcher that auto fills with water. we really like this feature, but the pitcher leaks when it is poured. Unless we pour this over the sink, it leaks all over the counter/floor/dinner table. Any further text cut off here.

                        Really worst buy i ever made
                        save your money do not buy this refrigiator its been the worst product i ever bougth i would never buy it again save your money buy something diffrent my door handle broke after having for only 6 month oh and my ice maker broke too now they dont want to paid for it and i still have warranty on it but there phisical damage really wow after 6 months and its my freezer door that i dont used much smh pleased dont buy this theres better quality out there

                          dont take a chance on this fridge
                          Stay away from this fridge. Ice maker freezing up and leaking. Samsung customer service is horrible. Two repairs so far and ice just maker just froze up again. Also the water pitcher leaks. When we asked the tech about it and for a replacement he said dont bother they all leak. Just dont use it. Seach social media for news reports and owners pages for any samsung fridge. Dont take a chance.

                            Pretty But Thats It
                            i am almost a year in with this fridge, its beautiful concept but the ice maker is trash, when selecting cube you get crushed no matter what setting. we had this issue for about a month, pretty typical based on reviews. the ice maker than quit and we tried removing the ice bucket but it is stuck like chuck. i was asked if there was ice build up, i couldnt say for sure but the bucket wont come out and ice wont dispense but water works and autofill pitcher works. i have service scheduled for next week and warranty ends at the end of april and of course it breaks less than a year in. i think its ridiculous to pay this much money for a vanity design that wont function correctly. i had a kenmore with icemaker and water that i have had 15 years ans never one issue. samsung this isnt right!

                              I want to love this fridge so bad but it’s been leaking all day in our BRAND NEW HOUSE! Totally unacceptable! From the absolute SPACIOUSNESS of it, to the convenience of so many features like the door in door on the right to quickly grab milk or ketchup or butter!!! The pitcher feature is great and the freezer is SOOOO spacious and I love the top slide out drawer (great for ice cream!!) But my favorite feature has GOT to be the middle deli section drawer!!! It's SOOOOO huge and convenient; I love that you can organize it with the divider. I bought plastic organizers to help keep things in their space, but I can't say enough praise for this fridge... I highly recommend it!!! Even my 14 year old teenager has expressed how much she LOVES going into it!!Well done Samsung - you dazzled a TEENAGER!!!!

                                Love the flex drawer!
                                This is the best refrigerator. Its almost been a year and no issues. It looks great too. My favorite features are the flex drawer which you can adjust the temp for different things (I use it for drinks) and the auto fill pitcher inside is awesome. Everyone who checks it out loves it.

                                  Samsung Disappoints Loyal Customer
                                  I purchased this refrigerator in November 2017 and it has been nothing but a headache with the ice maker. It is of poor design and simply just junk. We have to chisel out the ice every week to have ice. I have called Samsung but they do not care. Samsung does not stand behind their products even for a loyal Samsung customer who regularly buys this brand. We finally had to buy a counter top ice maker because the latest mishap was the ice maker literally caught fire just a few weeks ago. I have made several claims for the ice maker over the last 3 years with my supplemental insurance to repair because SAMSUNG will not cover any of it. I am going to call Samsung again about the fire and see how they respond, but at this point, I will NEVER buy anything Samsung again. On a side note, the repair man told me that he works on Samsung and LG appliance products all day every day. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG UNLESS YOU WANT MIGRAINES AND A COMPANY THAT DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!!

                                    Happy With Our New Samsung Refrigerator
                                    We were reluctant to buy this refrigerator because of all of the negative reviews. After a lot of searching, we couldn't find another frig that we liked better, so decided to throw caution to the wind and give this one a try. We've had it 2 days now and so far, we're very happy with it. Everything is working just fine. It's a beauty in stainless steel and it looks great in our kitchen. We find it spacious, with many different shelving options. The sliding shelf makes it easy to store tall items. Some of the features we love are the flex drawer, water pitcher, the food showcase (it's nice to be able to open the small door and grab a drink without having to open the door completely), and the ability to connect it to the Samsung SmartThings App. Connecting the refrigerator to the App was an easy process. The App gives you the ability to control the frig/freezer temperatures from your phone. It also allows you to input the name and expiration dates of items you put in the frig. The App then lets you know when the expiration is reached. Great feature! Our only minor complaint was that the left side of the top shelf wouldn't fit into it's slot on the right shelf. We contacted Samsung and they are sending someone out to replace the shelf. Good service so far. I gave it 4 stars under Features because the water/ice dispenser does not have a light. I found that feature a plus on my old frig. This review was not collected as part of a promotion.

                                      Nice unit but water pitcher leaks
                                      purchased this back in september. really like all the options. ice maker working fine so far so we will keep fingers crossed. water pitcher started leaking while pouring after first month and we dealt with it. ordered replacement which showed up yesterday and it leaks right out of the box. tried to contact samsung through facebook today. initially no response for 20 minutes. then jon reached out to me. i explained the situation and the only response was to send another pitcher. when i said reading other reviews showed that was not a fix, i never heard back from him. he just left the conversation.

Well fast forward 4 months....it’s the best investment i have made. It’s so spacious, many different shelving units and the flexzone drawer is spectacular.                                           Product looks beautiful but installation was terrible
                                          We bought the fridge almost a year ago and it looks beautiful. The ice maker is not great because it is difficult to control how much ice comes out, and the water filter needs replacing every 4-5 months or so. Each filter is like $40. The one main complain is the installation process. Even a year later we continue to find pieces of plastic inside the fridge due to a mediocre and fast-paced installation procedure. We could tell the crew that came to our house were bothered that they had to do this for us. It is a multifunctional fridge, that looks nice, but be aware that homedepot does not provide its usual top quality standard to the installation of appliances.

                                            Ice maker is horrible
                                            We bought this fridge based on the sales person saying how good it was since we were stuck between 2 choices. Wish we went with the other. The ice maker keeps freezing over like water is just flowing and freezing everywhere. Looked on line this is a common issue. The fix is to put silicon between the ice maker unit and the fridge wall to seal up the area. Also other small issues with it.
