This fridge is awesome. We had a French door fridge where the middle door was inside the double doors and it always bothered me that i had to open both french doors to access a center tray. The tray is both recessed and pretty small. No more! I can open either door and access what I need from that side of the fridge. The center door is both bigger and more practical. Also the freezer is smaller but that just means food will not be forgotten at the bottom as easily!

We purchased this Samsung refrigerator about seven years ago. It is a beautiful looking refrigerator but we have had problems with it about a year and half in Samsung is well aware of this problem and there is a class action suit against them! If you google and review this French door refrigerator you will see thousands of complaints about the ice maker. We have had repair people out at least 4-5 times and there isn’t a way to repair it. We have now shut off the ice maker and we make ice from trays every couple of days. For the price we paid to HAVE an ice maker and that Samsung refuses to do anything, I will never buy a Samsung appliance again. Please read the reviews and save yourself money for repairs and the hassle of having to defrost and turn it off for hours at a time. Another fun bonus is the noise it starts to make when it is about to malfunction again, it sounds like a small plane going through your kitchen. Do your homework and look for another brand!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] where is the water filter part number? it is not listed anywhere on the product page or the user manual. the part # should printed in the user manual & also on the product info inside the frig on the left, or even on the filter twist knob. i searched filters & following the suggestions here looked at the specs. none of them listed this frig part numbers. so samsung doesn't sell a compatible filter? something is wrong. i love this frig though the ice maker isn't what i like. the cubes are cloudy & small. would love larger & clear ice cubes. my previous frig did this amazingly though it was built in 1996 so maybe no one makes a good ice maker anymore. one of the specs you can't review before buying a frig is what the ice looks like, no store ever sets up the ice maker. live an learn.

Good space. We specially like the flexZone for dairy products. This is the perfect finger prints free surface refrigerator! We definitely recommend it!

Seemed good at first, but in over 6 yrs: Ice machine freezes over every week - broken Water filter doesn’t seat well, bought 3 new ones - broken Door flap spring broken Middle drawer flex temp control broken, now will freeze most of the food in that drawer. Back/inside of fridge freezes over, causing fan to stop circulating air All of these are known problems to Samsung and service techs. Youtube has multiple videos out in how to try and fix or just rig the fridge to keep working. I would try a different brand and see if you have better luck?

Ice maker broke 6 months after delivery. There is a defect on all Samsung ice makers the manufacturer is aware and they have a class action law suit against them. Buyer beware. Home Depot salesman persuaded me to Samsung and I regret buying it. There’s even a fb page dedicated for people having this problem.

We had a side-by-side refrigerator for many years. LOVE this option (we have had it for two weeks). The Counter Depth means no black hole and lost food items in both the freezer and refrigerator. Love the flex drawer for sodas. They are chilled perfectly. The freezer holds lots of stuff, but obviously it takes a bit of getting used to the configuration. The water/ice dispenser works nicely. Initially the water leaked slightly, called customer service and was told run the water for 2-3 cups. Leaking went away. Highly recommend the unit.

I love my new refrigerator, it is so pretty and sleek. Hope it last a lifetime or a good while because inexpensive it wasn't. So far so good, fits perfectly in our kitchen. We bought the stove and dishwasher in the Tuscan Stainless Steel. Kitchen upgrades!

After ten years, I decided it was time for new appliances. After researching refrigerators, I decided on this Black Stainless French Door Refrigerator. It is really tall and I am really short, and I can still reach, see and do everything with this refrigerator. It has adjustable shelving so that if you have something really tall, you can make it fit. With having the french doors, you don't have to have as much "walk room" between the front of the refrigerator and a counter or walkway. While the ice maker/water dispenser are in the door it does not take up as much room as you would think. There is plenty of room in the refrigerator for anything. In my old fridge, I would have a problem fitting really large things - not in this one! Roomy is the key word. There are 2 door bins that can easily fit several gallons of milk/tea/lemon-aid. The freezer drawer is really 2 drawers in one. The bottom one (very roomy) and then a sliding one on top of that one. Then there is the "flex" drawer in the middle that you can adjust the temp or the rods to more secure something (or divide the drawer so that different people could have their "own space". The temperature controls are inside the refrigerator door on the side panel so that little fingers won't decide to "help mommy" by changing the temperatures for the freezer and refrigerator. I just cannot say enough good things about this particular refrigerator. It seems like Samsung must have listed to what their consumers really wanted! I could go on and on, but that what I do when I bring my family/friends in to see my new fridge!

Had this installed on May 5th. And I absolutely love it. Not only is it so pretty and sleek but it is just the size we need. Ice water has never tasted so good. Great space and it isnt super huge. Fits perfect in my kitchen. I end up purchasing the stove and dishwasher in the same color. Next will be the microwave. Samsung kitchen, Tuscan stainless steel!

I bought a single wall oven, range and this fridge over 2 years ago. The Ice maker constantly freezes up. I'm also buying a thermometer this week to place in the fridge because I don't think it's keeping temp. I had milk go bad 2x now, well within expiration dates. Buyer beware, steer clear of Samsung kitchen appliances. My oven has its own issues and I did a review on that too.

Ice maker has frozen over twice in last 1.5 years. Options are to leave the fridge door open to defrost it (2 days) or pay over $300 for service (that is for the part, not the labor). This is evidently an ongoing problem with Samsung fridges - Google this before you buy. Attached image shows ice build up on outside of ice maker, freezing the entire maker.

My model of refrigerator is no longer available, however, there is a class action lawsuit pending against Samsung and their refrigerators. This covers multiple models over multiple years. The ice makers freeze up and stop working. The back panel in the refrigerator freezes every couple of weeks and needs to be defrosted, even though these are supposed to be de-frostless. This causes the temperature in the refrigerator to rise to unsafe temperatures. The customer service at Samsung is non-existent. They don’t stand behind their product.

Fantastic product. Samsung makes excellent electronics and appliances. This fridge has great capacity and the design was well thought out. Simplicity, capacity, and great design. We really like this product.

It’s been two weeks since I bought this beautiful fridge, so far so good.

Love this Unit it is quite, a little noisy from the ice maker but when the bin is full it is quite. The water and ice stop when you move your glass away. It doesn't drop ice either. The doors open easily and the mid draw is great for lunch-meat and cheese. Yogurt and sour-cream and the like. Lots of room and the four-way divider helps to keep thins organize. The freezer draw is deep and big could hold 4 15 pound turkeys with room to spare. The freeze little draw is big enough and deep enough that you can put a lot of food in there. The refrigerator with the slide back shelf and the gallon milk and juices fit in there great. right now it is kinda empty since I'm in a wheel-chair and keep most of the stuff I use in the draw. You will not be disappointed by this refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this about six months ago. Love the color because it blends in the background with my cabinets (on that wall they are dark). I can say that all the features are great and the upper storage is so much better that the last two refrigerators I have purchased. Love, Love LOVE the middle drawer because I can put my 97 year old mom's stuff in there and she can find it easily (she is nearly blind). The Freezer is roomy and I guess its not a complaint really, but you really can't "see" the upper drawer, but despite IS very easy to pull open. (the upper doors are thick making it impossible to see where it is, but I think it is STILL a great feature.)

We are so impressed with our refrigerator purchase! It makes such a great statement in our kitchen; adding it's sleek polished design and beautiful silver color to tie in the space. More importantly, we really love the functionality of the interior. I'm in love with the middle access "beverage" drawer; it keeps extra hands of kids and guests away from the food when all they need is to snag a drink. The freezer holds more than I expected and allows me to categorize my various freezer items like meat, frozen prepared meals, and veggies. The top french cabinet doors are amazingk it's liek you are opening up a vault of freshness. The interior refrigerated shelfing area proviedes optimal space opportunity without loosing anything. I love how I can see everything inside at one time. And to top it off, the auto ice maker and water dispenser is really cool. So glad to have this fridge! Expectations exceeded!!

I love this refrigerator. It's quiet and holds a lot of food. I'm very happy with it. I've had side by sides for many years. This holds more and is adjustable where needed for tall items. I highly recommend this refrigerator.

I did so much research on fridges when looking to purchase the fridge. I saw the bad reviews but thought "people only write reviews when things are bad"... well here I am less than 3 months after my purchase writing one of those bad reviews. My fridge and flex drawer stopped cooling after 2 months. The technician came out twice and was unable to fix the fridge or replace the parts. The water faucet on the fridge leaks, the ice machine leaks, the water pitcher on the door drips everytime we pour a glass of water. Not many good things to say about this fridge. DO NOT BUY THIS. Customer service was not helpful. Because I had waited until a sale to buy this fridge now that the fridge needs to be repalaced Samsung would only refund us the sale price leaving us to come $500 out of pocket to replace the fridge. This fridge is not in any of the stores or warehouses and will take 2-3 months to exchange this product leaving us with a fridge that won't get below 50 degrees F. cooling temperature and makes all our food go bad within 3 days.

I am beyond frustrated with the purchase of my Samsung refrigerator! I was very excited when we first purchased this refrigerator and had high expectations of the product. This stainless steel refrigerator replaced a 15 year old black whirlpool refrigerator that I put down in my basement and is still working perfectly. I am about to call do you have service come out again but I think it is very unfair of Samsung to put out a product like this, compare it to other refrigerators, and then have the consumer constantly having to pay to have repairs done. Don’t buy this refrigerator even if you think they have had plenty of time to work out the kinks. You will end up paying so much more to have the service guys come, and then you will want to give up. Samsung replaced our first refrigerator because of icemaker problems, so this is actually our second Samsung. Same problems

We have owned this fridge since August so we've been able to use it quite a bit before writing this review. First, yes it is beautiful and sleek looking from the outside which was our main draw. However, inside it's very cheap and poorly designed. Several door shelves can't hold anything because of the ice maker - complete waste of space. I'm especially shocked that nobody has mentioned the horrible design of this freezer. The top drawer in the freezer isn't secured to anything! It doesn't glide in a traditional sense, and you can literally just lift it right out of the freezer without any effort. I can't believe how poorly this was designed and again that nobody has mentioned it. Unfortunately, we bought this online purely based on reviews (which were all very good) but we should have gone into the store and looked at it beforehand. We definitely would not have purchased it and regret our decision. There are better quality, better designed options out there for around the same amount of money. Lastly, the installers didn't even install the doors correctly (one is higher than the other). I have made many calls to Home Depot and Samsung customer service with absolutely no luck. Each blames the other. All I need are "snaps" that will help make the one door higher but I can't get anywhere in my attempt to get customer service to help. These were supposed to be included in the packaging and put on by the installers. I'm exhausted in my efforts for something so basic that I've given up and will just live with the doors as-is. Already thinking about how to get rid of this fridge without taking a major financial hit to get a different one.

Everything is great. Love the extra door that saves time for those things I use the most. I don't have to shuffle around with the door standing open. The ice maker is a little load when dropping in cubes to the keeper but it is livable.

Wish i had listened to the reviews on this page. The salesman assured me that he had not had any complaints on this model. Buy this if you want to defrost the ice maker with a hair dryer every 2 months. Its $500 and up to fix the problem, but from what I’ve read on here, it wont fix the problem. There is a class action lawsuit going on now about this fridge. Do not buy

This fridge is quiet sleek looking a nice addition to our new customHome. The only 1 gripe we have so far after 1 month of owner ship the water dispenser dribbles from time with use. A towel on the handle has helped to get those dribbles quickly. Other than that we are loving how quiet it is

Just bought this exact fridge. It is very nice in black stainless and looks great with the rest of our new suite. Ours is 2 days old now and have found to our disappointment that the shelf configuration is terrible. The unit can only handle 1 gallon of milk at a time. 2 liter soda bottles must lay on their side. Shelves are too close together to accommodate pickles or mayo jars. We have multiple condiments as many people do and utilize the shelving on the doors. This just doesn’t have the space we thought it would have. It also has the sliding glass shelf which I really don’t understand except that that is the only spot the milk and soda fit ? So why not eliminate the slider altogether ? Idk. Not great storage for growing family.

Love my new fridge.. holds everything with room to spare... love the huge freezer drawer and the extra drawer in the middle is perfect for our soft drinks... there is a little bit of a learning curve to change the temperature.. the control panel needs to be unlocked to change the settings... but I figured it out... great fridge.. very happy with my purchase!

I bought this 28 sq. foot refrigerator a week ago after my 30 sq. foot Samsung refrigerator was put to death after only five years. My previous refrigerator suffered repetitive (3) sealed system leaks and was finally replaced by Samsung at no cost. The service technician told that no other manufacturer would replace a refrigerator like that, so Samsung gets some credit even though the previous refrigerator was a disaster. I really wanted another 30 sq. foot refrigerator, but settled for a 28 sq. foot model since I really wanted a working refrigerator in the house before Christmas. On the plus side, we like the Flex Zone because we are addicted to really cold bottled water. That means the Flex Zone is really an extension of the refrigerator and turns into valuable space for us. At 30 degrees, our drinks are really cold but not freezing. On the negative side, there are two issues: 1> The arrangement of the shelves in the refrigerator is poorly designed in the opinion. We would have preferred the middle shelf to be about 6 inches, but that arrangement is not possible. Take a close look before you buy because the shelving arrangement is essentially static. 2> If you look in the freezer, it is obvious it was designed to have a shelf on the back side of the freezer drawer (at the top). But Samsung is not giving you that shelf, and I also haven't been able to buy that shelf. Even worse, Samsung can't even identify the part after several phone calls. I haven't, however, given up yet. I may grow to like this refrigerator better over time, but at this I would probably select a different model, if I was able to change my decision.

I AM IN LOVE with this refrigerator ❣️There is sooo much room and I love the extra drawer space. Fingerprint resistant is the best thing that ever happened to stainless steel. I HIGHLY recommend this refrigerator.

Great fridge! While I wouldn't say it is fingerprint resistant, the fingerprints are easy to wipe clean. Very spacious, the ice maker is the best of producing enough ice but taking up as little space as possible. This is a big refrigerator so be sure it will fit through your door openings. The delivery team had to take off the doors to fit through my entry way door, which made it 'as isn't but they did a great job of being careful and even mentioned that these doors were much easier to remove and take off than other refrigerators.
