Thawed and Wrecked Food. Warranty is BS.
This fridge is a joke. Samsung's warranty to cover the crap product is a joke. Stopped working within 3 years, intermittently letting the freezer go to 58 degrees and wrecking food. Fridge stays more stable, but also intermittently stops working. Just like many of the Samsun products we've owned, this is cheaply built and poorly backed by a company that should stick to making crappy cell phones and great TV's.

Purchased this and had the seal and drain in the back replaced at 1 and 2 years respectively. It is still a constant battle with ice buildup in the back, frozen (and spoiled) produce etc on the bottom. still mold around the seals. Love our OTHER Samsung that we got a few years before this one. don't recommend.

Worst Samsung product I've owned. It's not deep and has little height for the shelves. Plus it leaks water.

          Horrible Fridge, avoid
We inherited this fridge with the purchase of our home. It has been a nightmare. Constant whirring noises. The entire back of the fridge frosts over. I've tried the defrost cycle many time and it does nothing. I will never buy this brand ever gain, I promise you that. The life span of a fridge should be at least 15 years. This Fridge is already dying. Pathetic.....

Greetings, We are here to help you. A refrigerator is never completely quiet, even when it's new. In fact, new fridges may be louder as they settle into place. Still, noises from your ice maker or compressor should never get so loud that it's interrupting conversation. Don’t buy!
Awful refrigerator! It came include brand new with the home I bought and worked fine for the first year. After that came the issues. The drawers fill with water as well as underneath them. Have had to defrost 4 or 5 times in the last year because of the ice build up inside the drainage line. Freezer has an ice maker that the ice will melt and create a giant block of ice in the bucket. Ice constantly falls out the back of the bucket and then skids across the floor. I could go on and on. Will need to buy a new one soon for my sanity. Also don’t know if I could even sell or give this away to someone with all these known issues.

Greetings, We are happy to see your review. Many times when you see a pool of water (or one that froze into a sheet of ice), it can often be attributed to condensation or a spill you didn't notice. The most common place to see water is at the bottom of the compartment, such as below the vegetable or crisper drawers. Leaks can occur outside of the refrigerator, or you can have an autofill water pitcher that is leaking as well. I have shared a Samsung link below about water leaks in a Samsung refrigerator. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001852/ You can also watch this video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uU6XADBosVo Here's the link if the ice maker is making a giant block of ice: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001012/#ice-bucket-is-stuck-or-has-a-block-of-ice If you have inquiries and needs further in the future, please contact us via the following options below: 1. Horrible - maybe worth it if you don’t cook
We bought a house with this fridge and we absolutely hate it. The model we have was purchased in 2017 and it is already broken. Ice forms at the bottom of the fridge and floods the vegetable drawers making the food rot faster. This happens every week. Additionally the storage space is quite limited - it’s very hard for just the two of us to buy enough groceries for ourselves. Not to mention the ice maker in the freezer takes up a ludicrous amount of space and sometimes prevents you from closing the freezer which allows the food to thaw if you don’t notice (the fridge doesn’t alert you if you leave the freezer door open a smidge) I also dislike that the front of the fridge is not magnetized, but I’ll admit that is probably personal preference. Would not recommend.

Hi there, Sharing your experience with your Samsung appliance matters. Let's go ahead and take a further look into the refrigerator and how to get it back on track. When condensation, moisture, or mold forms between the refrigerator doors or on top of the freezer door, this is caused by high humidity, energy saving by the refrigerator, or incorrect usage. Please check the links below for helpful tips. Condensation, moisture, or mold between the refrigerator doors: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001891/ You can use these tips to organize your fridge and keep your food fresh. Tips for an organized Samsung refrigerator: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00084845/ Lastly, Samsung has increased the amount of ferrous material in the stainless steel panels to make them magnetic per customer request. However, we need records on which models are magnetic and which are not. Best to visit your local retailer to check if a magnet will work on the sides. I have 5 Samsung appliances all brand new with the house and will never buy another Samsung appliances again. I had problems with this fridge from the beginning, water pools under the vegetable bins and the ice makers randomly stops working. We are pleased to address your review, Vicki. Let us go ahead and check the possible cause of the leaks in the fridge. Leaks can occur outside the refrigerator, or you can have an auto-fill water pitcher also leaking. Depending on where the leak is coming from, we will show you what steps to take to find the cause and keep it from happening again. Here's that awful noise just after one year just like people said in the reviews. I can hear it all through my house. Very disappointing. I'm distraught after spending so much since I've had over 15 year old fridges that NEVER have sounded like this. I had bought a oven and have issue woth it also.

                        Absolute junk
this fridge is junk. the drawers fill up with water due to a known issue that many reviewers have had. i've seen some 5 start reviews talking about how roomy it. either they are paid or have had a dorm fridge all of their lives. i'm glad i didn't spend money on this and that it came with the house i bought. they had just bought it and put it in. after 3 months i'm dropping the cash for a new one. i wasn't surprised about this refrigerator being terrible. i have owned two other samsung appliances (a washer and dryer). they were terrible too. avoid buying it. you can get a better counter depth with more room for about the same money from other manufacturers.

7 years in, countless hours wasted, hundreds of $$ of food in the trash. at 3 years old, we realized we weren't crazy amd fridge really was making a ton of noise. by year 4 the water was pooling. we did the defrost clip fix, defrosted the unit, let it rest, didn't touch it, hoped we fixed the problem. we didn't, it kept happening. year 5 is when we started noticing that the we were throwing out a lot more food from spoilage - milk, meat, things growing mold after being in the fridge for 2 or 3 days. at 6 years the panel on the back started frosting over every month. nearly 7 years in and we're having to take it apart every week. don't even get me started on the rubber gasket "seals" this fridge has been such a nightmare.

first fridge had a complete power failure. we lost power and their crappy circuit board had the fuse blow first power bump. nothing else in my house has ever failed from loss of power. they replaced it. the second one has that stupid leaking defroster like everyone else has where it freezes back up and ruins everything in the crisper. luckily my state forces them to maintain an implied warranty for 13 years due to 13 years being the useful life of a fridge. look up the nahb " study of life expectancy of home components. take them to small claims court and get your money!

                                  Didn't know I could hate a refrigerator
i had no idea i could ever hate a refrigerator. all is has to do is cool food and not leak, right? samsung has changed my opinion. it is possible to hate an appliance. to hate the fact that water regularly pools under the vegetable drawers, including the time it leaked out, and ruined my wood floors. to hate that the ice from the ice maker routinely melts in its bucket and then refreezes, leaving a giant block of ice to hate that ice cubes fall down the back of the freezer and fly out across the kitchen every time i open the freezer. to hate the hundreds of dollars i've already spent trying to fix the water pooling under the drawers. if you can possibly find another refrigerator that is the same size, do it. this one will make you angry every time you open it.

                                          JUNK
should have paid attention to what everyone says about samsung refrigerators. 3 yrs old and water leaks into and below crispers. liner is cracked on both sides and unrepairable and out of warranty. many reviews for this model with same complaint. i guess samsung doesn't feel like it's worth addressing because you can still purchase this piece of junk.

Everyone in my house hates this refrigerator
do not buy. buy anything else!! the shelves do not adjust for the top or middle to be used for normal soze drinks. the ice maker drops ice behind the freezer and it is inaccessible to clean. freezer stopped working and had to be replaced. but the most annoying part is the doors do not close without force. force no fridge ahould need. samsung clearly knew this was an issue bc they put a bell on it that dings incessanty when the fridge is not closed all the way. everytime i have guests, they always have issues getting the door to shut. i hate it. this fridge is full of headaches for so many. i do not reccomend this brand. steer clear. their customer service is less than helpful.

                                              Looks good and that's it
I think the first half year the refrigerator seen to work fine and than freezer frost, some times heavy frosting. the technician came and changed the gliders for the freezer door and he said problem fixed and I hope it was fixed. But still had frosting in freezer and he came again the Technician and was the same guy. He said nothing wrong with the unit. He said the only reason for the frosting was I wasn't closing the draw door good. I told him that the door was closed good because I always check that it is closed all the way. He didn't believe me. Samsung Technician's not very good. My warranty ends 8/19/2021 and today is 8/18/2021

                                                Design flaws
This refrigerator has had continuous issues with ice and water in the bottom of the upper section and water in the crispers. Freezer thaws for no apparent reason. Upon checking, I see that there are thousands of people having this problem due to the design. There is also a class action suit as the design flaws are not being addressed. I have just lived with the issues as it was purchased in October of 2018. I finally broke down and ordered a new fridge. Since I am retired, coming up with the money is not easy.
