Works great! Only thing I didn’t like is it had a ding a little bit bigger than the size of a quarter on the top and didn’t see it until after they had left !

I purchased the Samsung front loader washer and matching dryer during Memorial Day sale. I also took advantage of the Texas Energy Star tax free offering. I got the matching set in Platinum. It was not backordered. Home Depot delivered and installed the washer and dryer the Monday after Memorial Day. For over 30 years I've had GE top loader washers. I was hesitant to go with a front loader. I researched and here are my thoughts. Do front load washers take longer to run? I do not think so. A regular load on "normal" cycle takes 45 minutes. I did one load on "heavy duty" because they were outdoor work clothes that were absolutely filthy. That load took a long time but considering how dirty the clothes were, it warranted running on "heavy duty" cycle. They came out clean. Do front load washers clean clothes despite using less water? Yes. Are front load washers rough on clothes? I do not think so. Are front load washers loud? I do not think so; in fact it is quieter than the top loader I had. Do front load washers leak? Mine does not. Is the song that plays when cycle is done annoying? It is Die Forelle by Franz Schubert. It is very long, but I'm use to it now. There is probably a way to turn it off, but I don't have an issue with the tune. What about having to add an item to a load? I though back over the past 2 years and there was only two times I needed to add something to a load that started. So honestly this was only a "perceived" issue for me that actually was not an issue. Do front load washers develop an odor? I have read that can be a major problem. I wipe the inside of the door and the seal with a paper towel after each load and lay a cloth rag across the bottom so the door stays open a little bit. I mean, if you have moisture in a closed environment, yeah it is going to get musty and stink. For me doing this preventative care means my washing machine does not have a weird odor at all. On a negative note, I do notice that some water collects in the detergent/bleach dispenser. I do not use the dispenser because I use pods, but some water pools in the dispenser. I do find this annoying because any moisture can cause mold/mildew so I wipe it out with a paper towel after I run a load. Is it hard to load/unload clothes in a front load washer? It is not an issue for me, pretty much the same as reaching in a dryer and getting clothes out. However, if you have back problems I'd probably get the pedestal to raise the washer up higher. I do not have a pedestal and it is not an issues for me. The washer / dryer does NOT come with: Kit to allow the pair to be stackable; pedestals; washer hoses; dryer vent hose; dryer electrical plug; dryer Y adaptor to allow steam to dryer. You have to buy those items separately. This washer and dryer are a little bigger than my old one so measure your space before you buy to make sure it will fit. The washer is also a lot heavier than my old one. It is on a tile floor and there were no issues getting it installed or levelled. The new dryer vent hoses don't allow you to push the dryer close to the back wall so it sticks out farther than my old dryer. This could be a problem for some people if there was limited space/depth for your dryer. I guess the main thing in considering a front load vs top load washer is are you set in your ways? If you aren't sure, ask someone who knows you well if you are set in your ways. If you have had a top load washer and don't really want a front load washer, don't do it. You might look for things to not like about it. You will worry it is not using enough water; you might micro-manage your washing and try to do extra rinses, etc. The dryer is a dryer; I just set it on "normal" and it is done in 42 minutes. I would NOT say the dryer is "quiet". I do think the dryer is as loud as my old GE one, but not excessive or loud per se. I talked with friends and they said the steam feature on dryers is really good/helpful. I have used the dryer steam feature once and am glad I have it. The dryer steam feature was a reason I selected this dryer. It does require a "Y" adaptor that connects to the cold water valve that is used for the washing machine. I do find this dryer does not collect as much lint as my old one even though the vent hose is clear/not blocked and the filter is inserted correctly/tight. I am very happy with my new washer and dryer. I put my clothes in, set it on "normal" cycle and let it do it's thing. I have noticed I only need a maximum of 2 detergent pods for large loads. The clothes spin pretty dry which means the dryer does not seem to take as long. If you have a super small load, the dryer may not dry everything all the way. It is helpful that when you start the washer or dryer it tells you exactly how many minutes it will take and counts down the time. I was pleasantly surprised how much I like this Samsung washer and dryer.

The text in the washer smeared today when I wiped it for dust. No chemical was used just a rag. I contacted Samsung and they say it’s a cosmetic issue and not covered by the warranty. I looked into the issue online and a ton of people have had this issue and Samsung always recommends to buy a sticker for it. This is ridiculous and so cheap of the company. If you don’t mind losing all the labels then go for it.

Nothing but praise for this washer. Lovely aesthetic. Steam feature is added bonus. Clothes feel, look, and smell 5x better than a top-load result. Color is great as well. Took my chances on the champagne and am not disappointed at all.

Very happy with this purchase. My laundry comes out super clean, it does a fantastic job. I was worried about ordering another frontloader because the last ones I purchased were also Samsung but that was about 15 years ago and the washer didn't clean well sometimes came out still stinky and the washer had an awful mildew smell. I think they really listened to the problems people were having with them and finally got it right!

Quiet sounding machine. Easy self-clean. Manual is huge and had some very halpful tips on laundry care, i appreciated that. Would definitely recommend to others looking into new appliances. 10 outta 10 would *(and probably will)* buy again!

i bought the set on january 23, 2021 the washer does not work, i spoke to samsung, they did not give me the guarantee because i installed it, i spoke to the home depot and they did not help me at all i have a month without a washing machine i paid $ 1700 for the set of what i wanted from samsung neither home depot did not give me an option to fix the washing machine myself i opened the washing machine to see what happened, surprise is a used washing machine where the counterweight of the drum was loose and dirty with broken screws nor 3 months i have with this washing machine supposedly it was new

Looking for a new washing machine after our old one died after 12 years I found that due to Covid delivery was months away on some models. I chose this one based on availability and have not been disappointed. It has more functions and selections than my old machine, has steam option, and cleans very well. It is pretty quiet except on the spin cycle, which is normal. Overall it does a great job cleaning clothes and there is no musty odor in the machine between uses, it appears they have fixed that issue. Good price point

I love our new washer. We had a 12 year old front loader that needed CPR. The new washer has additional features that I didn’t know I needed until I got my new washer. Only issue I am concerned about is the mold smell that occurs if you don’t leave the door cracked open.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer machine almost a month ago. I live that is a larger capacity. I am not used to the dark door. I wish it had an internal light, my old machine had that and it is a feature that I really missed.

I would absolutely recommend this washer. It's pretty and it does such an amazing job. By the time I take the clothes out of the washer they are wrung out so well that I hardly need the dryer at all. Now the dryer on the other hand has a sensor that doesn't work that great because it never fully dries my clothes ever This is good it works well when it does dry them but I can't figure out how to override the Sensor. These are definitely a cool pair to have especially if you have a lot of Samsung products. I have a smart fridge plus we all have Samsung phones so it's cool to control everything in the family hub.

I just got this product. It is okay so far, except for two things: 1) There is a wet spot on the floor under the door (where there is a hole) with every load. 2) I have had nice people at Samsung to help on the phone, but getting a technician here is a little problematic at the moment. I am waiting to get a call from a technician. I will update if this gets better. Pros: It runs quieter than my old one, and clothes seem to be less wrinkled. We don't have heavily soiled items very often, so I can't speak to that. There are a lot of options. I am just learning. I like the idea of the steam and sanitize options. I have only used the steam one so far. I will update as time goes on. I've only had it for four days.

We love our washer and dryer from Samsung they are quite and energy efficient looking forward to long lasting quality.

this machine has leaked water since day one. i have owned it now for six weeks, have taken two days off of work to wait for repair people, and have spent hours on the phone with samsung, home depot, and the repair place, and still do not have any resolution. the machine was delivered to me with bolts missing and a damaged gasket. it pours water out the bottom and sounds like an airplane taking off. samsung refuses to replace the machine or refund my money, instead insisting that i take another day off to wait for someone to come out a third time to repair the defective machine they sent me. deeply disappointing, and not what i expected from samsung.

I was happy with the service. I was skeptical about buying them but my sister have them and these two make me want do laundry everyday my clothes are clean and now I can save money on my electric bills and water. I am so happy with the purchase. Love my new machines

From the customer service to the final delivery, I could not be happier. They had it set up and ready to go in less than 20 minutes. I never thought I would look so forward to doing laundry, but I have done six loads today and can’t wait to do more. The washer and dryer met all of my wants and needs, could not have asked for a better pair. Thanks to Home Depot and to Samsung, for making life a little easier and I now have a laundry room that I am calling my man cave, LOL

I bought my set when they had a sale for about $650 each back in June. It was delivered a week later. They could not set-up due to Covid at the time but my brother & boyfriend set them up no issue. They are very quiet while washing & drying. No shaking my whole house like my old standard set. I love the color (champagne). My aunt seen my new set and had to go get the same exact set as me, color & all. I have not had any issues with my set what so ever. I used the sanitize setting on the washer to wash my masks & clothes I have to wear to work. I used the steam cycle on the dryer for my work slacks. Love both of those settings. I'm so glad that I decided to get this set! You won't be disappointed!!!!

There are lots of washing options that allow you to select number of spin cycles, various temperatures, etc. It's quiet (as much as a washing machine can be quiet). I have the set with the platinum finish and it looks great!

The washer does a terrific job and has many features you would expect to pay almost double for with other brands. Very high-quality cabinet as well.
