Great features and looks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about a month ago and so happy we upgraded to this refrigerator. It’s deeper than the old one, but sits perfectly in the same spot. And it fits a ton more than our old side-by-side. Black stainless looks beautiful too. The controls are easy to get to and use, so you can easily change how you want to use the middle drawer, for instance. This was a great purchase.

    Shelves
    While the fridge functions well, taking out the shelves for cleaning is extremely challenging. Switching from our previous fridge to the 4-door Samsung fridge post-remodeling was a regrettable decision. In addition to terrible shelves arrangements, removing them requires screwdrivers and considerable strength. Moreover, replacing the water filter poses its own set of difficulties. Overall, I strongly advise against purchasing this model.

      The paint will chip
      Don’t waist your hard earned money on this refrigerator. The ice maker will get clogged and moldy it will work on and off. The stainless steal finish will start to chip. Samsung will not be responsible for the defective product after the one year warranty and if you buy the extended warranty like we bought the warranty doesn’t cover cosmetic problems. We don’t recommend this refrigerator.

        Do not buy
        Ice maker freezes over and constantly needs to be defrosted monthly. Ice is always slushy. Both fridge and freezer evaporators constantly freeze up due to poor design and need to be defrosted bi-weekly. Temps are inconsistent and a health risk. I will not be buying a samsung appliance anytime soon.

          The fridge is fine and the freezer is great. We enjoy the water/ice dispenser. The middle drawer is perfect for eggs, bacon, lunch meat and such.

              My 4 year old Samsung is out for garbage pickup
              Ice maker never worked. Samsung sent repair people who could not fix it and after 3 years without ice l going out of defective and Samsung knows and won't do anything about it. So tonight l throw it away. $3200 plus over $1500 in repairs. Just about everything expensive broke. 3 things are broken now. I also have a 4 year Samsung washer that only works on 1 cycle 5 are broken. Waste Disposal Will take it next week. RUN if you are tempted to buy anything SAMSUNG. Horrible never again!!!!

                Junk!
                I bought a house last year April. Re did the entire house, appliances, floors, cabinets, bathrooms etc. A year to the day later i wake up at 230am to find my house flooded!! The bladder apparently broke and water running all night. I had waterfalls coming out of the middle drawer and freezer. My floors had to be ripped up, in the kitchen, dining,living room, bathroom mater closet, laundry room and hall way. Some water in the garage also. This is a nightmare!!!!

                  Bad experience
                  A bundle set was purchased recently from Home Depot, as soon as the refrigerator was turned on, the water filter was leaking. We called Home Depot before 48hour and they sent a person to verify the malfunction, after that they did not replace the refrigerator, they gave us the Samsung company number, and the refrigerator was not replaced,now the refrigerator makes sounds.there was no response.the gas has a damage in front screen due to cooking steam.both Samsung and Home Depot did not respond

                    Water Dispenser Leaks
                    After delivery and installation we noticed the water dispenser drips after use. We went through the troubleshooting guide and then to you tube only to find this is an ongoing problem with Samsung. STAY AWAY from Samsung. Apparently this has been ongoing for years and they have done NOTHING TO REMEDY! Don’t believe me Google it for yourself. Plenty of video out there. I should have researched before I bought.

                      Worst Ice Maker Ever
                      The ice maker generates about 8 ice cubes every 12 hours. The ice maker doesn’t have sufficient insulation to keep the ice area cold causing the ice to melt and jam frequently. Once a week it freezes. The fridge space is smaller than expected. The he only positive is the middle drawer convenience for drinks. Items in the bottom freezer fall out and behind the bins causing other problems. The door handles fall off frequently.

                          Temperature doesn’t work
                          Don’t buy this refrigerator. I bought this refri November 3 2022 and noticed that it wasn’t cooling the first day.Thought it was just because it was new and it was going to get better. Food was getting spoiled. I try to adjust the temperature as the guidelines indicate to do but it doesn’t work. The temperature doesn’t change. It’s set to 37 and doesn’t change. Buttons don’t work. It’s been 1 month and I regret buying this refri. Doesn’t keep my food cool.

                            I'm a contractor and I bought this 18 months ago the freezer stopped working a little over a year old. Can not get anyone to work on them. And the company tells you to figure it out on your own, even when they come with a 5 year cooling warranty. None of my clients will ever buy Samsung again

                                  Huge storage space
                                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this refrigerator! My sodas fit perfectly in the drawer two cases worth. And in the door storage plenty of room for all of my condiments like mayo, pickles, jellies and the like. Which leaves a massive amount of space for foodstuffs. Plenty of adjustable shelves for everything else. Lots of freezer space as well. I keep my bread in the slide out tray and meats as well as heavier items like frozen vegetables or fruit in the drawer portion. I had a power outage for two days and it kept everything cold. All in all it’s a great product for the price.

                                      The ice maker freezes up and will no longer make ice. It’s pointless to thaw it out because it continually freezes up. Additionally, the temperature display on the outside of the door does not match up to the temperature inside.

                                        purchased 6-23-2021 the rf looks great and is workable. just don't over stack it. food has condensation and ice is frosted over. no water drip tray. love the separate pull out drawer too keep eggs and deli meats in. icemaker takes too long to dispense ice, forget trying crushed ice. ice comes out cloudy and size is small. i had a kenmore elite same design as samsung for 4 years and the compressor went out. ice was always clear and maker was designed in door and worked great. bought the extended warranty from best buy for this fridge and am sure i will be using it. gave it a 4 rating and yes to recommend. design and color are great, liquids stay cold, compressor is quiet, but little details and known items to have issues should be fixed before producing more.

                                          Cheap finish will look terrible in 24-36 months
                                          i have this fridge for about 30 months now and it's a nice looking fridge and works well. however, the finish on the stainless steel is now peeling and the thickness of the steel seems thin. i am not sure why stainless steel would peel like the issue with the black stainless finish. also, the steel must be thin because it dents very easily. the fridge i replaced was 11 years old stainless frigidaire and never had issues with the finish.

                                            Worst refrigerator EVER
                                            Please DO NOT BUY this junk. Find another model, save your money! It’s ice maker would make you want to pull all your hair out. This is how I defrost my ice maker, with a hair drier, otherwise we are left with massive blob of ice.

                                              Do not buy
                                              9mo old and they don’t stand on warranty that is one yr parts and labor.Our frig the plastic is cracking and the wheel on drawer is broke which that crack one drawer, they replaced the drawer but not wheel, oddly the other drawer too.

                                                Stunning Fridge
                                                10 days only and I feel I should write a review because if it fails after this date it would be repaired somehow under warranty. so This review is about the features. The fridge is spacious, lots of space top and bottom. the flex drawer is useful for Cheese, Ham, Wine, and anything needing 3 Celcius like fresh meat to cook next day. Ice maker, water dispenser works fine!. the installers very professional . Home depot had delivery issues and changed the date on the day before the original schedule. I called them because the new date was 12 days later and they corrected it to 4 days. so I would give them the benefit of unforeseen problems due to a big delivery like this one. I recommend you to measure and measure and be aware that doors can be removed to fit the main house entrance. I also installed the water supply by myself using amazon and home depot parts running the tube under the floor via basement. as you can see in the pictures I had to move the kitchen cabinets few inches. it's worth it and the price isn't too high. this one is a black model and even that our kitchen is all white , the new color makes kind of a complement or good contrast. home depot helped us cancelling the 22cu and re-ordering the 28cu as soon as I noticed the doors were renovable to get it into the house.

                                                  Take note when no local repair companies will service samsung or LG refrigerators. ice maker persistently froze up, service tech recommended leaving open to defrost. Then the fridge compartment kept icing up not going into defrost. New parts were installed, no joy, same issues. Final nail in the coffin was estimated 3 weeks for repair tech to service same issues. Family of five without a refrigerator?

                                                    Do Not Buy This Fridge
                                                    The ice bucket, where the ice is dumped, breaks into small pieces. I've kept all of the plastic pieces that end up in our drinking glasses. I've ended up almost swallowing some pieces. Samsung won't fix it. They have the worst customer service.
