I love this lock, it gives you the ability to lock and unlock from anywhere, kids locked out, your on the road, simple just press the unlock on your smartphone and their in. In bed and wonder if the door is locked, simply grab your Ipad and tap lock, done! I didn't give it five stars for one reason and one reason only, during evening hours the numbers of the keypad are difficult to see, there needs to be a "pre light" installed that would light the keypad just prior to entering your code preventing you from entering the wrong code.

Can not yet review performance of item. Ordered Online. Lockset arrived with scuff marks under clear coat finish. Attempted to exchange at local HD....not carried in-store. Will need to figure out how to exchange online and wait (needed soon) for replacement.

GREAT lock and handset combination!!! What I like most: Contemporary, clean design; brushed Nickel finish What I like about it: Works SEAMLESSLY when paired with my iPhone 7 Plus; can even say "Siri, unlock front door, or lock front door, and Vwalla!!!! the desired action is accomplished. I have had the lock installed and working for five (five) days. This lock both meets and exceeds my exceptions! I have seen other reviews indicating the lock did to work when the iOS 10 came out, but my iPhone is running iOS 10 and it works GREAT! I experienced a problem with the delivery of my Schlage lock from Home Depot. I purchased the combination lock AND handset together. Only the deadbolt arrived. I contacted Home Depot, by phone (on this site), spoke with a representative, who couldn't have been nicer. He took immediate action, and I had the missing handle within 3 - 4 days. EXCELLENT work guys!!! Now, for the lock. It is SUPER!!! It looks great, and was a breeze to install, by following the Schlage video presentation and the instructions that accompanied the lock. I am NOT mechanically inclined, but I am willing to take on new projects. If you have a door that has a deadbolt (separate from the latch), as pictured on this lock set, AND your latch or handle that opens the door also has a lower bracket or brace as part of your current set-up, also as shown in this picture, it will work. READ the Schlage product details, either on the Home Depot page listing this item, or on the Schlage website, BEFORE ordering, and make sure your door has the measurements outlined on the Home Depot product information guide, I'm sure you too can do this yourself. Go for it!!!!

This lock broke completely within 2 weeks. Jammed so bad we can’t even unlock or open the door manually without taking the whole lock apart. Our door is jammed shut. Called Customer Service and they said this lock has been discontinued and they could only send a repair part and not the entire replacement lock because they don’t have any. Very frustrating.

Just wish I could have gotten the same keypad I bought 2 1/2 years ago. The background was black and the numbers were blue. Very difficult to see the numbers on the silver background.

Lever doesn’t fit with my plantation shutters and can’t be replaced with a knob.

It’s a beautiful lock and satin nickel matches everything nicely, it it eats batteries! I have not even connected it to WiFi yet which could drain the batteries a little quicker.

Doesn’t have the functionality it leads you to believe it has. Looks nice, works well, but I wanted more.

Purchased this Schlage century lock and all it does is eat batteries! I have it for about a month and have gone thru 8 or more batteries each week! Also, every time I make a programming change, like add a new code, it changes how I lock the door. Sometimes, just pressing the Schlage button it automatically locks, other times I have to enter the code. I have gone back to ground zero per Schlage instructions and it works for like a few days and then back to it’s weird self. I think it’s a lemon!

It looks amazing on the door. Very easy to install and it has all the hardware ready to go. The motor is noticeable which gives you a peace of mind that it works. Would recommend to other people.

Install went well and it works great to let workers in and out while at work.

Pros: Easy install and setup with HomeKit and the Schlage app. Cons: It’s loud when engaging the locking mechanism. Much more noticeable than my old Yale lock. The keyboard outside takes some getting used to as it doesn’t light up until you touch the keypad. Not a dealbreaker but aggravating when you come home at night and the porch light is off. You will mis-key and have to start over.

Dont ever buy this product, it came demaged I talked to home depot costumer service and they didn't do anything about it. Plus this trash doesn lock/unlock if you are far not even if you are in the backyard. Its terrible. I wasted my money for nothing.

Just don’t power up until its installed, otherwise you will have to do a factory reset. When installed and powered up the lock will automatically determine if its a left or right hand door. Youtube was very helpful in helping me with my error.

It works well and it’s s very attractive. The lock handle is a little too loose, a little too much play. Otherwise, I’m very satisfied.

This was a replacement (paid for by Schlage) to correct a failed circuitry in the prior. Can't say enough for the folks at Schlage customer service.
