So far so good, they look great against our newly painted white doors! You do have to be careful when screwing in the screws as it can scratch the handle.

The Schlage Georgian Matte Black knobs were exactly what we expected. They were easy to install and look really nice.

Used these to replaced hardware that was decades old with deteriorating finish and functionality. Super satisfied with the functionality and overall very pleased with the finish. A few weeks after installing 13 of these throughout my house, some with the locking mechanism for bed and bathrooms, I am still very pleased. Two minor comments that are a little finicky about the knob assemblies. 1) There is a metal tab that holds the knob on to the assemblies that is brass and is not finished in the Matte Black of the knob or plates (which look great and are nicely finished). The tab is about a quarter of an centimeter long, a millimeter wide, and is present on both knobs. However, it can be oriented so that it is less obvious by facing the tab towards the interior of a closet when the door is open, for example. Pretty minor... 2) The bolt of the bolt assembly is silver in color, as is the bolt holder, if you remove the bolt plate to install on doors that do not have a recess for the bolt plate, which was the case for my installs. Otherwise, the bolt plate was nicely finished in Matte Black. Again, kind of pretty minor...

I used these in my hi end rental and they are so sharp. Now I started replacing them in my own house. Will buy more.

However the bedroom/bath are bad. Not a one would close so the door could be locked!!! Terribly disappointed!!!
