Home Depot needs to carry more Schluter products!!!

Great product wish all home Depot had it

I guess the product maybe be good but Home Depot doesn’t carry the other products recommended for use with the tile membrane, so now I will be needing to return this product.

So far so good.Our son did the bath renovation and suggested this product. He liked using the membrane and the tile went on it well.

Worked like a charm. Got it up on the walls and then had to stop working for about week on the project. We were still able to shower without any worries.

I did my shower with Kerdi membrane about 10 years ago. I recently had to open up the wall to change the plumbing for a new shower system, and bought more Kerdi to seal the reworked area. Installation was easy. The tile bonds securely to it. There is no sign of leakage in the original installation. It works great.

Does what its supposed to. Only complaint i have is the price. Kerdi products are solid but its really hard to justify the pricing, blatantly marked up significantly compared to costs of making the product.

Have use this product before and it a great waterproof barrier.

Excellent waterproofing material. Easy to install with the kerdi trowel. I prefer kerdi board, but the fabric is a great option.

Currently installing a new 2nd floor shower, just completed the shower test, I was skeptical, but it passed. Very expensive system, but worth the extra cost knowing it is water tight.

this material is extremely annoying to work with. its expensive. you have to work against time (*even if you wet the cement board beforehand) and you have to clean up mortar twice (if you are messy like me). aquadefense forever <3

Im not new to renovating showers. I figured it was time to give the schluter products a try. I did all the research, preped everything, used the correct thin set but i wouldnt recommend this product. Not user friendly at all. Plus the cost for a small roll is through the roof. After getting frustrated with how the first sheet was going up, it got taken down and is now in a landfill. Going back to the cement board and redguard approach. Gonna stick with what works
