My last toaster never got hot enough. This one does toast nicely on 3. I like the big number that shows what number you've selected. And I wondered what those little sparky lights ranging around the top of that number was. The lights go out as your toast is toasting. When the last light goes out the toast pops up. And I do mean pop. A regular slice of bread actually leaps up like in those old timey movies. One thing I was disappointed with was that the toaster is not as shiny metallic, or as deep yellow green, or as sleek as the photo indicates. I've attached a photo of my toaster next to its box to show the difference. Mine is pretty, and matches my granite nicely, but I would have preferred the lively version advertised. I've only used it once and the toast was what you'd hope for. If it doesn't continue to live up to expectations, I'll be back.

A toaster is a toaster, right? Not necessarily. I put my 1st slice of bread (frozen) in & set the toaster to 7. It was reasonably quick, but the toasting was quite uneven. At 1st I thought, "Oh great, an expensive dud." Uneven toasting is normally a deal breaker for me. Yet, I thought, let me try again. This time after pulling down the slider, I pressed the frozen button just below the digital dial to the right. Voila!! The toast came out perfect, & every time afterwards. I've heard beauty is skin deep. Yet, this toaster has both functionality & aesthetics. I am especially fond of the bright digital dial. No more guesstimating what setting you've selected. Money well spent, thank you Home Depot.

Not worth $60 all this thing can do is warm bread, but you have to set it on high and us the frozen button to get it to do this. Don't let its beauty fool you!

I love the look and easy dial with large numbers

Basic toaster functionality. Standard slot sizes. Pretty color. It is NOT a long slot toaster though. (You can see that clearly from the photo, so I wasn’t expecting it to be.)

Pros: Modern/contemporary style. Many color options. Unique and functional control layout. Reviews from most websites are overwhelmingly positive, which is surprisingly rare for a utilitarian appliance like a toaster, most of which are poorly rated. Heating/toasting appears to be reasonably even, which is what most toaster reviews for other toasters complain is lacking. Cons: Many colors are "sold out" or deemed "rare" and only available at a greatly inflated price. Most colors shown by the manufacturer's pictures, inclusive of the box, suggest a somewhat shiny metallic finish. Reality is the colors are a duller matte finish which may or may not meet your expectations. Raising or lowing the slice lever results in a high pitched metal scraping sound. This is typical of many toasters but seems like an undesirable "feature". The cord is extremely stiff. The advertised cord storage is not mentioned in the instructions, and what appears to be the intended area to wrap the cord on the base is obstructed by the location the cord enters the base of the toaster, then challenged by the stiff cord, and finally the plug is of higher profile than the feet on the base. Not sure what the intent for storage was here but I can find no way to actually wrap and hide the cord given the small cord storage tangs, stiff cord, cord orientation, and lack of clearance. Summary: For a toaster this is good looking and functional. I have no way to comment on long term reliability. The cons I list are cosmetic expectations and cord storage. If not for the very stiff cord and poor cord storage I would rate this 5 stars.

Only outside filaments Worked. The two inside ones didn’t, right out of the box. Returned and bought a different brand. It did look nice though.

When opening the box and seeing the toaster, I saw that the paint on the dial was insufficient. I returned the toaster because if I figured that the factory would let it go in that condition, I wondered what the insides were like

Very nice toaster. Makes good toast. The warming rack is difficult to use, however, and I consider it useless.

We love this toaster. Toast comes out evenly toasted (why is that so much to ask for with other toasters???), even straight out of the freezer when you use the frozen button. The croissant/bun toasting rack is nice too!

The color champagne is green. I returned the toaster because the color did not match the brown , beige, and black colors in my kitchen. Black was unavailable or I would have ordered it. I did not use the toaster so I cannot comment on it’s operation.

May 8, 2020THIS is a fine toaster! With our old toaster, I would mistakenly leave the setting too dark. Then my wife later would burn her toast. If I left the settings to her liking ALONE, I'd have to push toaster down a second time then interrupt the heating time. THIS toaster; "Sencor 800-Watts 2 Slice Black Long Slot Toaster with Rack" has been the nicest addition to our kitchen.The side display and push button settings are engineered for simplicity and functionality. Before this, toasting bread or bagels was just something done as an addendum to breakfast, yet now it's become the end-all start of a good morning. Whoever engineered THIS toaster deserves great accolades for a product well thought out.MikeR

Lots of heat settings with the dial. Its been over a month & the whole household is still experimenting to figure out what number for toast, bagels, waffles, etc. We bought the gold. The heating rack in top is a little flimsy & is laid on top of cover when not in use.

At last, I have found a toaster that toasts the entire slice of bread and/or bagel. Previous toasters have only toasted the lower half of the bread/bagel. I would have to turn it over and toast a second time just to get the entire surface done. This Sencor toaster does the entire slice in one setting.
