I am enjoying this little vacuum. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver under furniture. I have a regular Shark vacuum that I also love that I use for the heavy duty rug and crumb pick up with two little boys. I mainly use this vacuum for my wood floors to clean up crumbs quickly after a meal without pulling out the big vacuum. The soft bristles are gentle on the wood floors and it can easily be maneuvered to get into corners. It makes it much easier to reach high places to dust. Trying to do that with the attachment on a traditional vacuum often ends up with me pulling the whole canister over. While I don’t consider this a substitute for a real vacuum ( I’d be charging the battery all the time if I needed to use it to thoroughly clean a whole floor of my house) it’s come in very handy and I find myself reaching for it more often than I thought I would. What I like: Very easy to charge by simply plugging in the battery. Lightweight Lights up areas you’re vacuuming Option for floor/carpet and extend run time Let’s you know how much battery is remaining Don’t like: Doesn’t have the quite suction of a traditional plug-in shark vacuum (but certainly adequate!) Smaller canister.

An excellent stick vac and handheld for every use around the house! I've had the pleasure to own a few different stick vacs and this one takes the cake. Heck, it sucks the cake right up! WHAT YOU GET: 1 Battery, charger, four attachments (duster, floor, crevice tool with brush, and carpet wand), folding extension handle, powerhead, powered brush roller head with dual brush rollers and lights. WHAT YOU NEED: Nothing but a dirty floor to clean! USE: Assembly is easy and all attachments just press or snap on. Use the extension wand and powered brush roller attachment for all general floor cleaning. You have the option of high power and regular power mode along with carpet and bare floor mode. The extension wand will bend in half in the middle with a press of a button to allow you to reach way under tables and counters without having to bend over. When the extension wand is attached you can fold it to store the vacuum upright and stand on it's own footprint. Handy! Remove the extension wand and attach any of the attachments (dusting attachment is my fav) or you can reattach the brush roller for easy cleaning of steps, car seats, couches, etc. I love it! Too clean you can just press a button and dump the dust cup contents. For deeper cleaning just press to buttons and you can begin to access and clean the rollers off the machine. Two sets of four LEDs let you see under the tables and chairs to get all the dirt. POWER: I own two other stick vacs, both cordless like this one, and the Shark blows them away in suction and cleaning. Get this, it can even wipe up and inhale talcum powder dropped on tile! Deep carpet pile works well, pulling up cat hair without clogging. OVERALL: With the versatility of cordless power, a strong suction powerhead and all the attachments, and a self standing storing capability this Shark stick vac gets my recommendation.

I am pretty impressed with the features on this cordless stick vacuum. From the bagless design of the main power unit, to the removable battery and the ability to adjust it to slide under a bed or other furniture this ultra light power stick vacuum cleaner is well designed and well made.It easily converts to a handheld vacuum for above floor cleaning of cob webs in corners of ceiling, cleaning of stairs, and more. The Duo Clean Technology features a typical bristle brush to deep clean carpets and an additional soft brush roller to pull in larger particles and directly engage floors for a polished look ( tile, hardwood, etc. ) The Anti- Allergen sealed filter system keeps what you vacuum up inside canister and dirt, etc. can be easily dumped in trash with a push of a button. Due to the size of the battery on this vacuum it is a bit heavy but manageable and the motor is noisy but performance makes up for the noise.The only thing that would have been nice is if the shaft of stick vacuum was adjustable in length.

First off, I absolutely love cordless vacuums, so getting this one was a treat! It is super powerful, but not too loud and has so many great features. You can use it upright, bent at the middle to fit under furniture, with the long wand for high places or the shortened version like a hand vac. It has many attachments for cleaning high and low. It has a roller head that sucks in larger debris. You can leave it plugged in all the time so it's always ready to go. It's so powerful that I have to be careful with my throw rugs as it has a tendency to catch them in the roller, however it shuts the roller down to prevent damage to it. The only thing I would change is that you must remove the top part of the vacuum in order to empty the dust cup. It would be easier if you could open it without this step.

This SHARK IONFLEX DUOCLEAN CORDLESS BAGLESS ULTRA-LIGHT POWER STICK VACUUM CLEANER has a lot of power I was surprise as to how much suction the vacuum has. when using on carpet you can feel the power of the brushes. The vacuum is easy to maneuver around corners and under tables. the cordless design is perfect as you have no cords to work around. Takes awhile to get a complete charge of the battery.

Amazing technology which provides great cleaning power and flexibility. I have been using this new vacuum all weekend and have decided that the tools provided, along with the 2 suction settings give a very effective cleaning result for my home use. The battery charges in the handheld vacuum section of the product, or while plugged in on its' own into the wall. The charging dock is not included with this model, but it is not needed at all. There are 2 surface settings, one for floors and one for carpet. Both work very well, and the soft brush roll feature is wonderful. This vacuum will operate in two reach settings--one for floors and for reaching high, and the other as a handheld for upholstery or for car and stair cleaning. I have tried all of the tools including the crevice tool, the upholstery tool and the brush. I love them all. Some of the best features are the ability to fold in half to store in a small spot. Also, this is a cord free vacuum. That is amazing! I have tried to vacuum high pile area rugs with great success too. Other features of this vacuum are the 3 LED lights that show power levels, the brush roll indicator that shows if a blockage occurs, and the headlights on the vacuum which are very bright. It took only a few minutes to assemble. The instruction booklet included is very well written with great diagrams. A quick start guide is also provided. The product comes with a 5 year warranty and a 2 year battery warranty. Great product, great design, powerful and FUN to use.

Very easy to use lightweight vacuum. I am impressed with how strong this vacuums suction power is.. It cleans all surfaces very well both carpet and tile or wood floors. The cordless feature is so nice to use as you do not have to mess with a cord. It charges very quickly and last a long time as I have vacuumed the entire house and still have a very strong charge. It is so easy to use as lightweight and goes under very low surfaces with ease.

We really like our new Shark IONFlex Cordless Vacuum. It appears to be a quality product and should last long. We already use a cordless vacuum (Hoover Air Cordless) but that's an upright vacuum and we know that nothing beats the practicality of cordless vacuums for light to medium duty tasks. But for heavy duty cleaning we use our upright Shark. This IONFlex Cordless Vacuum really meets our expectations for what we're planning to use it. It'll stay upstairs and mostly be used for cleaning furniture, hard floors, and occasional carpet cleaning. Cordless is best when you want to clean a certain area or room quickly and don't want to deal with cords and the time it takes to get the cord out and plugged in & then to store it back... Here's my input on this IONFlex Vacuum: (+) easy to assemble, just attach three parts that click into one another and you're ready (+) easy to use & empty dust cup (+) easy to clean (+) dual brush works well to pick up dirt (+) good run time on battery, lasted approx 20min on average use (+) quiet enough on low power setting (+) hard floor mode (no brush) and carpet mode (brush) (+) good indicator lights for: power setting, brush use, battery charge, hard floors / carpet mode (+) good attachments (+) easy to maneuver and turn (+) great reach under furniture (+) compact for storage (folded) (-) does not stand upright on its own except when folded (-) need to purchase another battery if being used as your main vacuum (our Hoover came with 2 batteries) (-) not for heavy duty carpet cleaning (but you obviously know that)

This is a good battery operated vacuum that has pros and cons. Pros: Battery powered, Cleans floors and rugs, Easy to clean roller brushes, Folds to get under furniture, Easy to empty dirt container, Folds to save space, Powerful suction, Carpet,floor and two power settings plus many attachments, Sponge filter and cloth filter, Warning light if the battery is dying and a green or red light if the brush roller is working or clogged, Foot release for wand and head lights. Cons: One battery, Battery takes three hours to charge and longer if the battery is hot, Cost of a spare battery is high, Dirt bin is small, Does not stand alone have to lean on something unless you fold it

Received as a gift and it kills my previous vacuum! Things I previously thought were clean, weren’t. This vacuum is cordless, lightweight and folds down to take up the least amount of space. And did I mention the versatility in use? Floors, carpet, under dressers, etc. it’s a all around great vacuum

The release for the bagless bin does not work.

I bought the Shark Ion about two weeks ago. I have the corded version and wanted something I could use quickly around the house. I really like it. The two settings for floors and carpet work great. The floor setting works great on area rugs. The only draw back is the battery only lasts about 30 minutes. If you're doing more than light cleaning, buy a second battery. It's been my go to vacuum recently. The attachments are good too, especially for vacuuming upholstery. The vacuum is light weight and very easy to use. I would recommend it.

this is the best. With us eating every meal at home I found it difficult to keep the crumbs off the floor so I looked for a "helper' and found it in the Shark Duo

I love this vacuum when it's working. But I have a dog, and have log hair. I'm always cleaning it! I feel like I clean the vacuum just as many times as vacuuming. From cleaning the filters, cutting hair out of the roller or emptying the bin. I think this is the perfect machine for a small space that doesn't get all that dirty.

Battery life is short. Had to order another as backup. Wish I had spent $100 more and gotten a decent vac, but this will do for the RV and occasional house use. Some features such as folding handle are unique and very useful.

My only big negative is that the battery doesn't last very long so I suggest you purchase a second battery. It picks up what it should. The hair accumulates quickly but we have long hair and children. I would purchase this again and I would also recommend it to friends and family.
