doesnt stay clicked together
I had a professional come out and install this in my bathroom- he said it was the worst tile hes ever installed. It keeps coming apart in places. It looks really nice though, wasnt cheap. Bought 4 boxes total. But annoying my contractor to come out and keep fixing my tile hasnt been fun. Seeming like im going to he out the $300 for the tile, plus $300 to the contractor. 😖

The Click Lock need to be improved
The Click Lock don't work well not enough to keep them together. The flooring joints are coming apart. There is not enough to keep them locked they just slide together no click lock, I will have to live with it in my kitchen however the product that I order to do my dining room I will be returning.

Seams do not resist water or moisture.
We had this flooring installed in our kitchen and while it looked nice, we discovered after several months a smell of rotting water. Upon investigation, we learned that spills, water from mopping etc. penetrated the 'click and lock seams.' We had to tear up the entire floor and replace it with conventional tile. We had the flooring down < a year.
We have reached to Home Depot and Shaw to file a warranty claim and both keep referring us to the other. As such, the notion of a WARRANTY IS A SHAM.

I really like this product.
Wasn't so bad to install. Feels very solid. Cuts very cleanly with a miter saw. I plan to buy this brand but different color/style again when I re-do my master bath room and am seriously considering it for my kitchen as well.

We have just installed these floors in my mother’s kitchen....
We have just installed these floors in my mother’s kitchen. They look even better than pictured. My husband is a contractor and installed them himself. He said they were easy to install and did so in a little over 2 hours. Due to the fact that we just installed them, I can’t speak to the long term durability but they feel strong and thick. We’ve worked with other vinyl floors that were thin, cheap, and more difficult to install. If you’re on the market for a vinyl with a more unique pattern than the traditional wood look, you should consider this brand.

From our contractor….
This floor is very expensive. You would expect it to hold up well but it scratches easy , requires alot of hammering to align the pieces ( which then cause breakage to the top of the laminate) and it is not waterproof! The dishwasher line was emptied and went right into the cracks- this was professionally installed. When the fridge was moved back pieces of the tile had to be replaced because it caused deep scratches. And some of the pieces are yellow toned which tell me the boxes were manufactured at different times. My contractor said he would never recommend this floor and would instead do lifelock and we should have listened.

Easy as pie
We added a bath in our shop and I used this flooring. It was shipped to my local store for me to pick up. It arrived on time and relatively good condition. I installed it in a half a morning with no issues at all. You'll need to coax the ends in with a soft mallet , other than that is was a breeze. It looks great. My neighbor was convinced it was tile. Even after I told him it was laminate. lol.

Take time to get the layout right so you don’t have any very short or very narrow tiles. The tiles score and snap quite well. Quick and easy installation.
Tip: you have to work a bit at the interlock to ensure each piece is joined tightly to its neighbor. As stated in the directions, you need to gently tap the end seems with a hammer on block to get them to seat properly.

Beautiful flooring.
We are extremely happy with the look of the planks. They did not easily snap together as advertised and took quite of but of strength to get them to snap together. Some planks didn't snap together at all, so good thing we bought overage. They also did not cut easily with a razer blade as advertised. However the end result was beautiful and we are overall happy with them.

We are disappointed that you had some struggles with the planks locking together and that the planks did not cut easily with a utility knife. The use of a tapping block and a rubber mallet can assist with securing the locking mechanism of the planks. Sometimes it may take a couple of passes with the utility knife to cut through the top layers or you may have better success with a compound miter saw. Looks amazing semi hard to install, does not “click” as easy as other planks tiles. Floor must be level, if it’s not the planks will shift-I had to move the planks around to re-lock. Recommend/must using quarter round or the planks just won’t stay put!

This is not a typical behavior of the flooring. We do recommend that all suboors must be clean, flat, dry and structurally sound. The correct preparation of the subfloor is a major part of a successful installation. Subfloor must be flat – 3/16" in 10' or 1/8" in 6. The final product looks good but definitely not as easy as the Shaw demo. As a DIYer this flooring project took at least two days to figure out and complete.
Items to note;
1. A level floor will make this much easier to connect the tiles...so my 50 year old house has some issues. In hindsight I would re-consider
using Level Quick.
2. Snap the tiles together like laminate at a 45 deg angle, once it's together properly you'll see and know it in the gaps. You may need your
laminate installation tools but go lightly, this stuff can be damaged on the edges
3. Some cuts will be necessary around doorways, toilet, tub etc. this will create debris from the rubber material so keep a good vacuum handy.
This product appears well made (Luxury) so it should last a long time.

We pulled up the carpet from a 1970s bathroom and installed this over the sub flooring. It is beautiful and has a great "foot feel". Easy to install and most definitely recommend it. Our installation has been down about a month and so far it is easy maintenance and looks and feels great.

I really love this flooring, it's very sturdy and looks fantastic in my kitchen. The batches that came with my purchase are actually significantly more blue-tinted than any of the pictures show, but it did not diminish the end-product in my eyes. I'm happy with the quality and would buy it again.

Beautiful tiles, but may require professional installation services
These tiles may look thin, but they are extremely heavy (the cases) and durable. On a first installation attempt, the installer didn't communicate that my subfloor was not level and I ended up with a tile floor that snapped, crackled, and popped every time I entered or left the room. After raising the concern with Home Depot and the flooring installation company, the room was stripped of tiles, the subfloor leveled, and new tiles were professionally installed. The result is that the bedroom is the best looking room in the house now, the tiles are flush with the floor, and the popping noise is gone. I'll definitely consider Shaw and Home Depot for my next room renovation.

Very happy with the finished product. It came 6 days sooner than expected which was nice since I had already ripped up the old floor Haha oops. I have no experience putting down flooring but I think if I watched a few YouTube videos I would have been able to figure it out, but my stepdad is a contractor and helped me install the floor is a day and a half. I looks great!!

My wife and I both love this flooring, which we installed in a small bathroom, and the folks at Shaw are great about answering your questions. It was very easy to install (it cut perfectly with my table saw), and looks like real tile. It is a much stiffer vinyl than another vinyl product I tested and ending up replacing after the seams started to open in about a week. The one tricky thing about these tiles is that they don't measure a full 12" x 24" from seam to seam, so make sure you compensate for that difference before you start cutting. In our situation, we had to stagger the tile in thirds in order to cover the area.

Easy to install. Looks like slate tiles but cushions your steps. I bought this without a sample and fingers crossed. I love it. Online pictures don't do it justice. I used a utility knife to score then snapped pieces. For compound cuts I used a Mutimax but it could be easily cut with a jigsaw, coping saw or similar. I love the look. I installed to in laundry/mud and 1/2 bath.

Great floor and easy to lay! We did try and put it on insulation and that didn't work. They say it in the manual and the video but in the store they told us that it should be fine to lay it on top of it. Trust me its not! It's very easy to lay it on a hard underfloor though. To cut it you just us a utility knife and a builders block. Very easy and it looks beautiful.
