Not worth the money
Expect to replace after about 5 years. Easy to install, but nothing but rust after several years.

Very sturdy base with stout metal
I considered a range of post supports and this one has much heavier gauge metal than most and no others have heavier gauge metal as near as I can tell. The base is designed to be used with 1/2" bolts which I really like because those will not shear when tightening.

Great base, specs a little off
This a strong, helpful base for posts that will work for most applications; must be secured with screws, bolts or appropriate anchors. Note this is for NOMINAL lumber - treated posts or cedar fence posts are a little big for it and will need to be shaved down a bit. Also spec dimensions are a little off… height is 5 9/16”, external width is 3 13/16”, and flange to flange length is 6 7/8”.

Product is excellent overall. Taking the adhesive decal off was very difficult tried soap and hot water, good off, scrubbed with a scotch brite pad, and even a razor blade. Still has some adhesive residue left. Other than that I’ve used similar products and this one I would definitely use again.
