I purchased this alarm system so that I could keep an eye on my home while I traveled to Europe for a month. I was very pleased that I could get notifications on my phone in real time from Europe and view my living room with the camera (while connected to wifi even though I had removed my sim card) . Although I didn't have the opportunity to try from Europe, the camera has the capability to allow me to speak and listen with someone. I was also able to purchase an additional door sensor which I installed on a carport door that is about 60 - 70 feet from the main unit as well as an additional motion detector with no problems. The set up and installation were fast and easy to follow. The only drawback that I have with the system is the braying cheap sounding chime tone on the main unit. I would like to have a simple beep or double beep. For the price, it was an excellent value.

Finally, Home Depot has solidified their return policy. Excellent Custome Service. He found it. Alright if we buy a product less than 30 days we get our money back. Less than 365 days we get a store credit. One day past one year, we keep it. This return policy is still far superior to all the other sites I visit. Thank you Home Depot.

I originally had the SC 100 alarm system by Skylink. It was easy to use and setup. Then I decided to replace it with an M4 Skylink system as I couldn’t get parts for the older system. The M4 system was difficult to set up and gave me a lot of trouble. Used new quality batteries and it wouldn’t allow me to arm system. Zone’s continually flashed even when no one was moving. Tried to delete all the zones and set up from the beginning. So I contacted Skylink home helpline. I left a message and heard nothing back. Sent repeated emails and again heard nothing. I’m tossing this alarm system into the recycling bin and going with a better company. That’s what I get for trying to find a low cost system. Save time and money and don’t purchase any Skylink Home Security products, this company is circling the drain.

Easy installation ,good security for home.

Better than expected. Easy set up and no monthly fees.

The camera is difficult to connect with the WiFi. Works fine when directly plugged in but not so much when trying to use wifi. Everything else is working as expected.

I bought this system for the office for the chime since I'm alone because of Covid and work in a back office, I get notified (beep on my phone when door opens) and get to go greet the client. I also see them come in on the camera, very clear image.

This is a sophisticated but simple to implement high quality security system. I am still learning the features and options. Great DIY choice.

I can’t seem to get the camera working everything else works fine

It is what I expected: not great, but passable. I had to contact customer service, and they were useless.

I purchased this system in May and, outside of the key chain, it's worked well. Within the last month, the front door sensor has been randomly malfunctioning and tripping itself which causes unnecessary panic on my end. At times, the system will say that the door is open when it's actually closed for no rhyme or reason. Disappointed because it provided great security initially.

***UPDATE**** Our app alarmed us of an intruder while my roommate and I were at work, we both (on different phones and in different locations) go to try to look at the camera to see who it is, and it WILL NOT LOAD FOR ANYTHING. I tried frantically to reload the app, refresh, tried everything since I was having a mini heart attack about who it was in our home. It never fails that it takes AT LEAST 5 minutes+ for the camera to load, if ever. Whoever entered our house, too late, we have no idea who it was because our useless camera wouldn't even do what it's there for. DO NOT USE YOUR MONEY FOR THIS 'deluxe' CAMERA SYSTEM. Alarm works okay, but the camera-absolutely useless.

I bought this system after someone attempted to break into my home. It was easy to install myself and has added a sense of security. All features can be activated according to your needs. The camera turns a little slow, but has good clarity. So far, I haven't been able to get the keychain to work.

Only issue I had was the keypad hub not being WiFi. The only way is to connect through an Ethernet cable on the top instead of the bottoms.

It’s a nice system and easy to use but the setup is difficult. The directions are confusing. I do really like the system now that it’s up and running.

Just a little bit not happy with camera cause it doesn’t have memory to record. Over all good systems. You can buy separate camera from annkeThis one have memory slot and record moving around following motion (according to spec, but i have not use it yet)

Just got this unit and found out the Iphone update causes the skylinknet app to crash, they said that and update to the app will be available today.

the system was impressive looked complete with all of the devices to hook up, unfortunately after a couple of hours the tech dept. said I needed a new camera. so I just returned it all to HD got a refund. .
