Got out of box read instructions plugged power cord in and no lights no nothing,must be bad from factory.

Works well from the bottom of our steep driveway (nearly 300 feet long) up to a windowsill in the house within direct sight of the receiver. The ability to turn the head away from the main road is helpful so it doesn't sound the alarm for every vehicle going by. (But still tells us when there are bunnies or squirrels around!)

Works great, just what we wanted! Signal is strong even when the eye is about 300 feet away from the receiver. It's so nice to have notice when someone is coming in the drive.

This alert works great, it detects very well for what I wanted, cars hot or cold , small or large animals ,people and no faults alarms , also it is weather proof and battery lasts about 1 year, 9v in sensor and the base station plugs in no battery. I tried more expensive ones and this one is the best .

I wish i could turn it down. It sits right on my desk and is loud.

This is a great, simple to set-up perimeter alerting system. Works well, extremely easy to set up (battery, sync, and mount), and has a good distance (my results 100-150 feet).The only downside is that its alerting is not customizable, but it doesnt claim to be. It is just a cheap and simple.

This device has helped us protect our yard!

Very easy to set up and works great. Two alarm setting which is nice. One is extremly loud and one is just right. Also you can put it on silent mode by selecting "mute"

It didn't reach the 1/2 mile, and there was no obstructions and still wouldn't work. We were very disappointed.

When the product arrived, there was a wire sticking out of the side with nothing attached. It appeared to be where the batteries were so supposed to be connected, but there was nothing on the end of the wire. I returned it to the store and have not reordered it.

Simple & works well

It works well as intended.

Have installed this unit as a driveway alarm and it has advantages and disadvantages. Has been installed for 4 or 5 days but so far it has done a pretty good job of catching vehicles etc on the driveway. It was easy to set up, took less than 30 minutes. There have been some false alarms but that is expected with a motion detector. The outside sensor is about 75' from the indoor transmitter. There is a rock wall and an exterior house wall between the two units but does not seem to affect the signal. The indoor transmitting unit has 3 settings -- (1) red light only, (2) beep for about 30 seconds, (3) siren for about 3 minutes (about as loud as typical smoke detector, very loud). We prefer to use the alarm so it can be heard anywhere in our house. However, for it to stay on for 3 minutes, is way too long for that loud signal to be on. If there was an adjustment for the alarm time, would have given it a 5 star rating.

Liked the fact alert can be in separate room from the sensor and can use chirp or alarm which is loud like a smoke alarm. Have used it for a month to monitor activities on my mother who had started to wander at night.

Worked like a champ

The Skylink wireless motion alarm does exactly what I expected it to. It senses motion. You have the choice of just a blinking light, a brief beeping sequence or a loud alarm. My purpose with this alarm is to tell me if someone has entered the house while we are there. It doesn't link to any phones or monitoring services. It is a low cost way of determining if someone has entered the space you are monitoring. The actual alarm base is very small so I just have it plugged into a wall and it sits under the bed. Turn it on at night, off in the morning. The sensors are battery powered so you don't need to do any wiring. Which means you can place them anywhere. It comes with one sensor so you'll probably want to buy more. It's simple, low cost and does what it says it will do. I recommend it.

Cost of item was good. Have had one for my driveways for years. House over 200 feet from road.

The sky link gives me peace of mind at a very affordable price. I sleep upstairs and now feel safe that I can tell if anything is going on below me.
