This brand has done well for me. The drain plug comes out easily. Planter is a nice size for lots of root growth.

The planters is doing a fine job it's holding up to the Zucchini plant for my first round of container gardening. Really looks great and the price was good.

Had it for about 2 weeks now. Very nice. Perfect for the tree I put in it and I planted some flowers around the base of the tree.

I purchased one last year, and it held up so well, even on a hot, sunny side yard, that I bought more to expand my container garden this summer. The newest one had a drain hole and plug included. For the others, it was easy to add drain holes with my drill. sI wanted two more, but they seem to be sold out at all the Home Depots near me.

I bought 6 so far, and love them. Four for potatoes, one for 2 cherry tomato plants, and one for a dwarf cherry tree. I did drill 3 more 1/2” holes in the bottom of each to ensure drainage.

These look good and suit my purpose perfectly.

We are enjoying our new Rustic Oak Resin Whiskey Barrel Planters...They are in a shaded corner on our front porch ..with impatience blooms....

We have several of these planted with little Alberta spruce, banana palm, erysimum, lemon cypress, and dahlias. They seem to hold up to the weather without becoming brittle. The size is very nice for planting and the soil doesn't dry out too quickly like smaller pots and clay pots. It comes with one removable plug and it's easy to drill three additional drainage holes at the places marked with an X. I add pea gravel and charcoal to keep pots draining and fresh.

Was a lot bigger than anticipated but follows pretty much the size of a real barrel. There are marks on the bottom for drill hole suggestions which made it super easy for drainage. We haven't had them for very long but they seem pretty sturdy to hold up well over time.

i didnt think they were going to be this big but im happy with the size. Perfect for my hydrangeas to grow big.

Quality and price are good. I am a senior citizen and it is very difficult to get find someone to put holes in the bottom for drainage. Please either punch the holes out be shipping or put some kind of plug that is easy to remove so customers can adjust the amount of drainage they want. I have had it for a week. Thank you.

It's resin so it can easily crack. You must handle it will care. I spray painted one (sloppily) so it would be a little more cheerful. I got the 22 1/2 which is a good size. I have a 26" which is almost unmanageable but a better planter as it contains more rubbery elastic type of material less prone to cracking. This Southern Patio brand has a good price at twenty dollars though.

Great planters, easy to drill holes in and plenty of room!

The pots went great in my moms flower garden! I was afraid the wood barrels would attract termites and would be to heavy for myself and my mom to move. These are perfect for what we were trying to create!

Our old wooden whiskey Barrel was falling apart was needed to replace it. We decide to go with Plastic Resin Whiskey Barrel. It is about 2 1/2 smaller diameter round than the real one. The base is 15" round and 15" tall. It doesn't have an drainage hole so I had to dill one out. It looks real and it should last longer than the wooden Whiskey Barrel.

Used them for a light post and planter, works perfectly.

I used this for a waterfall project which needed a barrel that can hold water. It works well and looks good.

OMG, this planter is just what I was looking for... my daughter got a Lilly plant from her aunts funeral and I could tell that the roots were out growing the pot that it was in because the plant was slowly dying and on top of that the pups were eating the plant as well. I'm glad I found something for her to keep her aunt plant alive at a reasonable price, she loves it and if she's happy... then I'm happy. Thank you, Home Depot!
