I'm so incredibly mad Home Depot still sells this
I'm doing my first ethernet wiring job and I really wish I had read the other one-star reviews on here. This is not real Cat6 wire, it is some cheap knock-off that doesn't work. I wasted so much time & labor and now have to rerun difficult wiring routes.

Do not buy (not cat6 cable)
After installing it I realized that the max speed using this cable was that of a cat5 cable (100Mbps). This should be removed from all shelves at Home Depot due to incorrect labelling.

                  Is CAT6 CABLE
Ignore the users claiming this isn't cat6 due to lack of separator. Cat6 specs don't require a separator, it's simply used by some manufacturers to meet the spec. It IS required for Cat6a, of which this does not claim to be. You'll be able to tell the difference in 6 vs 5e by the significantly tighter twists in the individual pairs compared to 5e. You'll also notice each pair is twisted at a different rate.

Great cable at an excellent price. This cable pulled easily out of the box, and the box even held up well. Just beware that the total cable diameter is bigger than a regular CAT5e cable. Where you could put five cables, you may only be able to put four, but it is 23 AWG wire.

                    Not CAT6
Beware, this is a CAT5e not CAT6 wire. The reason CAT6 was made was because it has a separation between the wires, and that's what makes it different from the CAT5e. This one has no separation which makes it a CAT5e. Not sure how are they getting away with this...

                      Not Cat6, it's Cat5e
This is is not true Cat6, it does not have the isolation strip between the strands to minimize crosstalk. DO NOT BUY!

                        This IS cat6 cable!
If you're reading these reviews for the first time you will see several saying that it's not actual cat6 cable because it doesn't have the spline, or separator, between the pairs. I've been working in low voltage and pulling data cable for over 20 years so I know a little bit about it. That spline has nothing to do with whether or not it is cat6. Once upon a time there was a very large X shaped separator between the pairs in cat6. Over the years that evolved into a thin ribbon. This was due to advances in manufacturing and in the twisting of the pairs. The pairs inside the cable have more twist in them than a cat5e cable. they also are a larger gauge. This now determines the speed and the frequencies the cable can handle. Not the piece of plastic that has absolutely nothing to do with connectivity. Buy this cable with confidence. And if you're still not convinced it's cat6 cable you probably shouldn't be buying it.

                          OLD Generation
This is slower than CAT-5e and shouldn't even be in any store these days.

Decided to install a home network and ordered this Cat6 cable. This was just enough to run 2 drops 5 rooms and 4 drops to the Living room. This cable unwound very nicely as I pulled each run through the walls and attic, it never snagged once. I highly recommend this cable to any DIY'er.

                            Good Quality
Around a month ago my grandparents were having issues with their cable internet service. After getting a cable tech in I learned that it was a combination of worn out cable connector from the line splitter outside their house and high wear on the cable running from modem to router. I bought one of these 100ft sets because of odd length and crimped on two jacks, and after verifying the cable passed tests, I did a speed test and the connection quality was consistently better (and has yet to cut out again).
