If you remove the T-handle part of the supplied auger it will fit in a standard drill and go 20 times faster during installation using an electric drill. T-handle unscrews.

I found the problem with my termites through this product by installing them as directed I was able to determine exactly where the termites were coming from and I was able to focus on that side of the house great product easy to install a fraction of the cost of a professional pest control that uses basically the same product I was given a price of $500 this cost me under $60 and it took no more than 20 minutes of my time. My lawn tractor and lawn mower and clear the product so I don't even have to worry about them just install and forget about them 6 months later when you pull them up you will see where the activity is if any But don't worry if it's half empty the colony of termites is eliminated. Great product I have recommended it to many who are now using it. Just remember to replace them yearly so future insects can be avoided, it's simple maintainace. Look at my pics, the blend in with the lawn with low clearance. They have saved me thousands of dollars of potential damage.

I just remove it and found that termites where living inside of it. So For me was a waste of money.

This product should be part of your termite control system. I had a termite infestation problem, several years ago and it was treated professionally. Since then I have used Spectracide Terminate Termite Detection and Killing Stakes as part of my termite and pest control protocol. The product is easy to install and use. The indicator alerts you when a stake needs replacing and/or there is a possible termite problem. I even place them by my firewood rack, as a precaution.

My son and I were able to get the stakes placed around the house in no time. Using and electric drill for us was the way to go. Adding water to the holes helped to remove dirt from the holes to place the stakes in. Will have to wait to post and see if they actually work. I’m using this as a preventative.

This product worked very quickly in getting my carpenter ant invasion under control. It only took a couple of weeks to wipe them our last year. I plan to start each spring season with a new batch of these stakes.

Easy to install. Cost effective compared to a monthly service fee of $48 dollars. I's working. Watching for warning pop ups.

Found no termite; but some red sticks were popped up because raining water!

I do termite treatment myself. These stakes are very easy to use. Just dig a hole with the auger supplied, attach a ring cover to a stake, and place it into the hole. The red rod plunges out when there is termite activity, but I check and replace the stakes when necessary every 6 months anyways. I wish they put a bit more stakes as 15 stakes won't cover the entire perimeter of my house.

This is a simple, inexpensive method of controlling termite infestations around the periphery of a house.

The spectracide works for the terminates. Follow all instructions for best results.

The seem to be working

I have used this product for several years. It is easy to install and when it needs to be replaced the insert pops up and you just replace that part.

Much cheaper than hiring an exterminator. Easy to use and effective.
