I removed carpet from my staircase and discovered that they did not have returns. I purchased these, added them to my stairs and then refinished everything to match. What an incredible transformation! I couldn’t be happier with the result!

The stair nose that I ordered was not finished as...
The stair nose that I ordered was not finished as well as I had hoped and I had to do extra sanding to make it usable. Rough edges mostly on one end. But it was usable.

While some finish sanding is required on most wood products before applying finish, we work hard to limit defects, burrs, and other imperfections that can make finishing into a laborious task. We apologize for any delays and extra work you had to do in order to make this product usable.

fit perfect, just had to 45 miter where it met...
fit perfect, just had to 45 miter where it met the existing nose. Two pilot holes, a dab of liquid nails and two finishing nails. DONE... perfect fit

After several phone calls and trips to stores who said they carried these but didn't we found out...
After several phone calls and trips to stores who said they carried these but didn't we found out the hard way these don't fit with the red oak treads we purchased from Home Depot. The nose on these was longer than the tread. Try and find item #205458986 the oak (instead of red oak) was properly sized and fit much better.
