I had it less than a year with minimal use when it started jamming when using larger sized rivets.

The riveter works fine with 1/8 rivets but it does not cut the 3/16 pins. If you have any suggestions to fix the problem please advise.

I really enjoy using this unit, It has done everything I have asked of it,,,

So I bought because I thought Stanley was a good name brand and had a lifetime warranty. Well, this rivet gun sucks. It squeezes one time and doesn't squeeze again to finish off the rivet nor does it break off. Garbage

On the 3rd rivet it jammed and I had to disassemble the tool while still attached to the car!! Upon examination I found that the internals were damaged. VERY disappointed!!!! It is now trash!!!!

Same as the other reviews I’ve done maybe 20 rivets and then one jammed in there and when I took it apart I found one of the gripping jaws broke in half. Tried searching the Internet for parts and it brought me here. Was going to send it back for warranty but after reading this I’ll just buy a better one.

Works great sand a real good buy

After I had used it the rivet gun to install about 35-40 rivets. The gun jammed. I was able to take it apart and unjam it. Actually a rivet book off when the gun had misaligned it when I went to install the rivet. I would not buy it again.

The tool I received was not the the one pictured online. The tool I does not work as well as the one in the picture, it's harder to set a rivet and doesn't set well in the hand. This tool may be all-right for occasional use but I tend to set a lot of rivets every day and this tool is totally unacceptable. I returned the tool to the local Home Depot store.

Needed a riveter that would work on all rivets especially stainless steel this does the job.

Installed one 3/16" aluminum rivet perfectly with just 1 full squeeze but the mandrel would not eject. After trying multiple times to eject and yanking with a vise grips the mandrel broke off. Returned it. Sadly, this tarnishes Stanley's reputation.

Bought on the basis of brand reputation - I should have read the reviews ! Worked very well for first two packets of rivets, then wouldn't eject spent mandrels. Worse still, it then snapped off top of several mandrels, which necessitated grinding off unset rivets. Upon disassembly I found a small piece of metal loose inside the nose piece and barrel - it's either a chip from the jaws or a lump of mandrel. Can't find spare jaws on the web.

Gripping teeth lasted about 300 aluminium rivets, waste of money.

I bought this to repair my garage door, I was able to put 4 rivets in and it stopped gripping the rivet. Completely useless. No documentation on what could possibly be wrong. Worst purchase I've ever made - Don't Buy One!!!

Worked well.

Only used for 10 rivets and now the shanks do not eject. Have to remove nose piece and depress jaws manually to extract. Also needs considerable effort to “pop” a rivet. Not good at all!

Used aboout 3 times and the gripping jaws no longer grip the shank of the rivet. I bought this to replace a cheaper Bunnings brand, believing that the Stanley brand represented quality. How wrong!

Bought this as use 4mm s/steel rivets almost on a daily basis, bought and used for 30 minutes and 4 days later my hands and fingers are still in agony. Have been using riviter's now for 25 years and this is by far the tightest trying to close rivets. I used to like Pop which is now part of Stanley but this is useless.

Bought this for aluminum rivets and it broke after the 5th one! Total junk wouldn’t buy this ever! Will be going to a better brand! This seems really cheap for Stanley and by made very good and don’t include any instuctions or parts list with it!

This product works fair it tends to not release or grab unless you oil it

I used two of these before Stanley took it over. Just as good. Anything less is just a hobby tool.

Beginning with the first rivet it would not release/eject the rivet shaft. Made this one unusable. Returned to HD and purchased a different brand from another supplier.

I purchased one of these. The first time I used it, it popped one rivet and that rivets waste stem got stuck in the gun. It would not eject and could not be removed. I returned it and purchased a second one. The exact same problem occured. I was only good for ne use, then the stem got lodge in the gun and would not eject and could not be removed. I returned it for a full refund. I would never purchase another Stanly pop rivet gun. It was a completye waste of my time, gas and money.

Stanley Stainless Steel Steel Riveter is a worthless product. This product could not pull a 5/32 stainless steel rivet. My dad and I tried pulling it individually and collectively without success. My 230lbs dad had to stand on it to work. Went to Harbor Freight and got one of their guns and the rivet pulled with no effort. It'd be nice if a company advertises their product as being capable of a task that it would indeed do the mentioned task.

Solid made and reliable. Much better than other brands that I have used.

Handle broke before the rivet even popped. Try Arrow.

....but since it didn't fit the 3/16 stainless rivets I had intended to use it on, I can't really comment on how well it works.
