It’s easier than I thought!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The RT187M rivet tool is my first experience popping rivets. I’ve decided to restore two vintage airstreams and before this have always wondered what rivets were all about. I was nervous buying a manual one over a much more expensive electric or pneumatic rivet tool. It turned out to be a lot easier than I expected and I feel like I got a bargain for a tool that I now realize I can use long after my airstreams are put back together. As a mechanic this is a tool I wish I had purchased a long time ago. It’s easy to operate and feels very solid made of quality materials. At first user error had me wondering why the rivets wouldn’t pop, but I soon realized the tool kind of pulls on the stem and then I pump a second time to really fix it into place and the stem pops right out. You can tell they’re really in there! I bought a box of arrow rivets as well (aluminum) and a kit with some different sizes. Great product so far and outstanding first experience popping my own rivets! I have thousands more to go but I’m sure glad I bought this tool.

Great products and easy to use

I used to it to fasten the latches on one of my old toolboxes, which I had spray painted cause the paint had faded away. The tool was so easy to use and performed excellent, now my toolbox looks brand new, thank you.

First 4 rivets got stuck. A 10 minute project ended up taking 3 hours and I couldn’t even finish! How they made this tool without some sort of easy release of a stuck rivet is beyond me. What garbage.

Made My First Rivet Easy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this rivet gun, having never used rivets before, and it was super easy. The instructions are pretty simple, I followed them, and my rivet was perfect so I would say this is a quality tool, and great for beginners.

First rivet is stuck in the tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a waste - bought this in a big box store for a small project. The very first rivet I am placing gets stuck in the tool and wont budge. According to youtube the only way to get it unstuck is to painfully disassemble the tool. Why is there no release button? The tool turned to garbage within. 5sec.

1117 Great for installing acoustical ceilings

Good for replacing draw tight sash locks on the doors of my dog crates in my motor home.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace several draw tight sash locks on the custom built doors of the custom built dog crates in my motor home. The RT187M Rivet Gun along with Arrow 3/16” short rivets did a great job. Also used some 3/16” long rivets to re-attach a gas shock absorber on one of the storage compartment doors.
