My house doesn't have a garage and I needed an easy (and reasonable) way to store bikes that I could assemble myself. I will agree with reviews and the vendor's recommendations to install on a solid/level surface. The entire assembly took less than a few hours - I assembled the outside on my own and had assistance to attach the lid. I've had the shed for over 2 years now and at max capacity, I can store one adult beach cruiser, two kids bikes, two kids scooters, and a folding wagon.

The parts didn’t line up exactly and the top brace has already pulled the screws out of the lid, so the lid is very bowed, leaving huge gaps on either side where the lid should touch the sides. Very disappointed in this not-so-cheap plastic box that hasn’t even lasted 2 years. Do not recommend.

Shed was fine for 2 years until the roof started to bow, shocks would no longer hold the roof up and now the bottom latch broke. Even though the shed is still under warranty they denied my claim due to the shed being on pavers. I live in Florida and our neighborhood is pavers only. No concrete allowed. I will no longer purchase any of these products as pavers move just as much as concrete cracks. My whole driveway, walkway, and porch are all pavers professionally installed by the builder.

I purchased 2 of these sheds for my pool floaties and they are assembled on wood frames and the foot of my pool. About 2 months after they were assembled, we had our first 100 degree day. I'm in Texas. That evening I went out and saw that the right side of the shed, at the hinge attachment point, had completely melted. I contacted customer service and they requested a couple pictures which I sent them. The next day, another 100 degree day, my other shed started melting in the exact same spot. I again contacted customer service and had 2 new sides to me in 5 days. I can only imagine there was a defect in manufacturing as the sheds were not being used yet. It happens. I am replacing the side walls this weekend and suspect they will be fine. Although concerned, I will say that their customer service was understanding and quick to get me the replacement parts. Thank you Suncast for the quick turnaround!

Got everything together but the top. That's because the "self tapping" screws don't fit in the holes of the arms. All I'm told over & over is to use WD-40 and rub in soap. Neither works, so I guess I have to find Hercules or drill the holes a little bigger or take a hammer to them so I can finish this. Wish I tried that 1st then I wouldn't have continued to put it together but instead return it.

Very easy to assemble and it looks sturdy. This was perfect to hide my trash bins and I was able to buy it directly at the store instead of online

Installed 2017. Assembly was ok, better bolt assembly would’ve been better. I used all-thread to bolt it onto the buried cinder-blocks to keep it stable then 4” concrete around it… I cut out portions of the bottom to fit pump, filter, and piping, etc. Also use cinder-blocks on top 3 corners to keep the North Wind from tearing off top, see pics. Use a 2” pvc pipe across top between lid and walls with the blocks on top in summer so it can ventilate properly. Been awesome for 6 summers.

Purchased Suncast storage shed 3 years ago, and door hinges rust out and plastic hinge supports broke off. Top cover warps and cracks Lifetime what a joke! Stand behind your product Suncast! More garbage made overseas. Waste of money! have had plenty of sheds worse by far. Called Suncast and 1st good luck getting thru 2nd telling cause i live in Florida was reason for weather abuse and rust even though it's in the shade. You sell them in Florida and offer lifetime warranty and these are not that cheap.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had with a company & product. The shed lasted less than a year before the crossbar failed on the lid. The lid then bowed and the side started to cave in. I only used it to store my receptacles. I contacted the company because its supposed to have a 10 year warranty. Somehow the company deemed the lid was my fault but the side could be replaced. They wanted me to pay out of pocket for the lid which I refused. I voiced my displeasure but was completely blown off.

Do not buy this unit. The assembly was moving along reasonably well until I reached the point where I had to secure the lid hinge to the lid. The screw that I was supposed to use didn't fit into the hole. It is impossible to finish assembly without getting additional parts.

This Storage Unit is very sturdy and well-designed. I agree, however, with others' reviews that the instructions could be improved with better higher-resolution illustrations - that being said, I strongly recommend going over the instructions and taking inventory of all components prior to assembly. I did anchor my unit to a concrete slab with 4 - 5/16" x 3" Galvanized Steel Lag Bolts, Flat Washers and 1/2" Outside Diameter Concrete Lag Shields and the Platform/Floor laid flat to the slab and is very sturdy. Used to store my two Trash Bins and Some Garden Tools. Great Product.

I really did not want another expensive piece of flimsy plastic, but what else is there? Assembly instructions were vague in places. I put it together by myself, but getting the lid on really is a two-person job. My biggest complaint is the hollow floor buckled in places while I kneeled inside it during assembly. Really? The floor breaks before you even put anything in it? I made a shelf (optional) to put inside, carefully cutting it to the length specified in the instructions. It was about an inch too short! The sides flex so much that you should measure the length of the board you will need and ignore the instructions. If you need a storage shed that you won't actually put anything in (except for inflatable pool toys or other stuff light enough not to damage the floor) then give this serious consideration.

The instructions are mostly bad pictures (this is not for the faint of heart) but if you study them for a while you see how each piece is supposed to fit. it took me about 35 minutes to assemble most of the pieces by myself. But I needed my wife's help for about 10 minutes to get the top on and aligned correctly. I am in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and I have this sitting directly on the ground and not a foundation. It is large enough for my trash can, over-sized recycle bin and 9-12x12 pavers to give it weight when the cans are at the curb (we have some heavy winds at times). Bad Instructions aside the finished shed is perfect for my needs. I would recommend it to my neighbors (but I would warn them about the instructions).

All three hinges broke off because the cover unlatched due to wind. Yes, unlatched due to wind. Not only did the screws rip off the "plastic" cover but the metal hinges snapped as well. This is not a cheap shed but the quality is not great. Also, beware of the warranty as it requires the shed to not be just on a flat surface, in my case parking lot surface, but it must be "concrete" or a "wood platform". www.suncast.com/foundation. Advice latch up your shed or risk damage.

It's probably great if you never have to move it. The screws go into plastic, so if you need to take them out and re-enter them, forget about them holding. The metal is also not very strong. After moving mine, the lid would no longer close because the metal bent, and several of the screws that hold the lid hinges actually broke out the plastic so the attachment points were completely gone. It was good until we had to move it.

This storage shed has plenty of room for storage. There seems to be many variations to the specifications of this shed, but I'm happy to have the model with the gas shocks for the lid. It looks great on my porch where I could store some tools and equipment. It should last a long time since it is level and out of the harsh weather. It seems reasonably sturdy, but I would have liked the sides to have more reinforcement to stop the wobble when the doors are open. I will be adding a shelf to see if that helps stabilize it more. It opens and closes nicely and has a hole for inserting a lock. I like that this shed has a 10-year limited warranty. I would have appreciated having free delivery, but it was not available when I ordered it. I picked up this item at the store and they had to remove the parts from the box so it would fit into the back of my Forester. Assembly was slow because I had no help, but once I drilled holes in the front metal support bracket and enlarged the oval ones so the screws would fit, the rest was easy. I did get the lid up onto the back by using chairs to lift it up onto the back rim (senior citizen arms!) and was able to get the hinges screwed on.

Perfect for my needs, used this to conceal my gererator little bigger than i would like but the next size down is to tight.

Easy to assemble with simple instructions, weatherproof, and durable. These have so much space. We use one to store bicycles and another to store outdoor items like tables and chairs.

Thieves melted through the plastic hinge and stole our tools. Plastic sheds are a good deterrant but not totally secure.

I used mine for a Generator back-up shed for my home, really made this shed to hold up against the heat from the generator, and it preforms great. When Temperature goes above 90 degrees, fan comes on and pulls cool air thru window to keep the shed and generator cool. Works Great.

The hinges on the doors are very poorly constructed. They broke off during assembly. I returned the product but not before sending them an email to which they replied but only weeks later. Poor product and poor customer service.

Purchased 2 of these sheds almost 2 years ago. For the price, these have been a good solution for storage of our lawn equipment, lawn chairs, generator, etc. The plastic is holding up well so far here in the Houston, Texas (we are located more than 60 miles from the coast though) heat and humidity. What is NOT holding up well are the metal parts and pieces of the unit. The door hinges have completely rusted out and are falling apart. The metal brackets for supports are beginning to rust where the screws attach them to the panels. The lid hinges are beginning to show signs of rust as well. It appears that the paint application to all of the metal parts is lacking in adhesion, especially where any fasteners attach to the panels. I have sent a message directly to Suncast with a request for replacement parts under warranty. Let's see how well they stand behind their product.

Very easy to assemble by myself. Every part was labeled. Every piece needed was supplied and fit. It's been two weeks assembled and it's working well. It fits in my location perfectly. My tools all fit inside. I like the height, storage capacity and that it's all season wear.

I love my Shed - or should I say my Instant Landry Room!!! I live in a tiny house with no room to put a washer/dryer, but with the Suncast Shed I am all set and no longer have to make trips to the laundromat. YEAH!!! We have had three major rain storms since I installed the shed and I am happy to report there have been NO LEAKS. It was easy to build and very sturdy.

We all ready had two. We bought a third one as we love how large they are. They are not hard to assemble, just time consuming. We love them. They withstood a tornado well.

Glad we went with the bigger stow away!! Fits everything we needed and has extra space if we need it. A bonus, this stow away is made in the USA!

The size was perfect, it fits five garbage cans easily. Assembly is another story. It isn't difficult, but I was given two bags of nuts, and was not given another bag of hardware needed to finish the assembly. I was able to order the correct hardware from the manufacturer, and in about a week I received it. BUT- The very worst part of this unit are the top's hinges. They squeeze and deform the thin plastic this thing is made from as you lift the lid. I can see already that they do not sit properly, and I'm sure the back panel they're attached to will soon fail completely. The entire unit is made from very thin plastic. Every single screw used to assemble it simply goes into pathetic, thin plastic with no way to tighten the screws, they just sit and spin... I suppose as screws fall out or tear the plastic, they will need to be replaced by long bolts that will go entirely through the unit's walls, and washers and nuts to keep everything secure. It should have been done that way by design. Had they molded the plastic pieces with heavy, dense material in the areas where the screws attach, it may have worked better. So I can't recommend this to everyone, unless you keep in mind what I've said, and can handle future failure by effecting repairs. If you assemble this on a warm day in the sunlight, you will see how everything is flimsy and the screws don't fasten it together...

We purchased this Suncast storage shed to house and protect our robot pool cleaner and other equipment from the AZ sun. Unless you are purchasing this storage shed to put inside or can place it in a location protected from wind, don’t bother purchasing. The unit was blown apart during our first relatively minor windstorm since it was assembled, on Tues 5/26. On Sat 5/30, we had a windstorm that produced local gusts Up to 50mph, near the base of the Superstition Mountains and discovered the condition of the shed. We are not amateurs to assembly and placed the unit on a new concrete pad because we wanted to ensure the integrity of the structure. This is a huge disappointment and I will look into returning this model.

Very happy with the storage sheds. Easy to open and close the lid. Very durable. I ordered two and my nephew was able to assemble them for me with no trouble. It came with extra screws and bolts, so I'm hoping those are just 'extra'.

Product is very well constructed,was not to difficult to assemble.I would recommend using a electric or battery powered drill there are quite a few screws for assembly.I would purchase this item again for my home(This one is for my buisness.)
