Everything was going fairly smooth until it came to the footboard. The two black interlocking pieces did not line up. I ended up unscrewing it and had to reinstall it about a .25 in down so it fit Also there is no other attachment at the footboard other than these garbage interlocking pieces so if you have to move the bed ever theres a good chance the footboard falls off. Going to just put another screw in the side. Wont look great but easier than going through a return Very disappointed

The bed frame itself is very nice and has the coastal look I was going for, however the color is totally off. It's much lighter online, so much that I thought I received the wrong color and had to double check the box. However... I did end up keeping it because it still matches my decor and let's face it, what a pain it would be to load it back up and take it back.

My husband and I have had this bed for about a week. Color is a bit darker than pictured, but that's no biggie. Our one major complain is that a week in, the headboard has already started to crack. We'll attempt to glue it back, but I don't think this is something that should be happening with a bed frame that has only seen a weeks use.

I highly recommend this bed frame. It is solidly built and very easy to assemble. Holes are properly aligned and reinforced with metal where needed. I replaced a nectar bed frame which was expensive than this and did not last a week. Nectar was using particle board in most places and it cant hold the bolts that go through the frame. I am highly impressed by the quality of this one. The center support is metal which is good. Slats are of good quality, you start with anchoring them on wooden pegs and laying them on the Velcro tape preapplied. I got the walnut color and it looks good in my sons room, it is darker than the picture shown here. This is even better than Ikea. In the first step where legs are attached to headboard make sure the legs are pointed inwards as much as they can so when you turn it over in second step the holes align with the support. Overall assembly was easy. Headboard is on heavy side, so make sure you have help for assembling.

Was surprised at the quality of the wood. Heavy and feels durable. Set up was easy and only took about an hour

There is nothing wrong with the quantity or manufacturing of the product. Our issue is that the color is several shades darker than the picture in the add. Therefore we are returning it because it doesn’t match our bedroom set.

Good product, easy to put together, seems to be sturdy. Like the center support. We have had the bed about a month and I have two complaints. 1. The color show as a nice natural honey, warm tone is not accurate, it's more of an unfinished mahogany color. 2. The mattress can slide right off the frame easily. There are adhesive strips that come with it, but who wants to stick their mattress to the bed slats. If they would have made the frame boards just an inch or two taller it would have been better. Also just an FYI, the box that arrived was very heavy with no handles, it took 2 of us to move it.

This is a nice bed frame with high quality wood. Unfortunately, when we were connecting the middle piece to the foot board, the legs went uneven. I think the holes were drilled too high. It's a bit inconvenient, but we put cardboard under the legs. It's still worth the price.

Very sturdy and good quality. It was very easy to put together and took us about 30 minutes. The quietest bed I've ever slept on, no creaking. The only thing is that it's not even close to the color pictured on the website (we ordered the Patina finish), and the color it came in is kind of ugly. Seems to hold a lot of weight and is a very sturdy and good quality bed overall.

The bed is well made and goes together well and for the price it is a excellent value. The color however does not match the photo at all. I expected a natural maple color as shown on the website but what we got something closer to a walnut. I would have returned it and I know HD would have understood my issue, it just worth going thru the hassle of boxing it up and returning it so we kept it. I would recommend this bed if you are looking for something darker than the photo. I feel the manufacturer should supply HD with a photo that better represents the actual color or needs to have better quality control of the color.

This is a very nice bed frame and headboard! It is well constructed. Solid wood components. The bolt holes were perfectly aligned. Very easy to follow instructions. Nice little detail touches make this a superior product. The rubber on the middle frame support to silence the metal...nice! The velcro to keep the support slats...smart! Looks great too!

We’ve had the StyleWell Dorstead Patina Wood Queen Bed With Shutter Back Headboard for a week and it is a perfect fit for our guest bedroom. The bed frame was easy to assemble with the included hardware and easy to follow instructions. Our 13 in. mattress with a memory foam top was a good fit and there was no need for a box spring foundation. The Shutter Back Headboard compliments our flooring and adds the right décor for our guest bedroom. It is a beautiful piece of furniture and it definitely has met our expectations.

This is a nice platform bed frame with headboard. It arrived with the box completely opened, and parts were hanging out of the box. The delivery driver and I did an inventory and inspected for damage, and surprisingly there was none. I carried it inside and assembled it per the instructions, and the result is a very nice bed frame. Instructions were clear, hardware was complete, and assembly took about 45 minutes. We are very happy with this bed frame and headboard. The packaging, however, needs to be better. A box this size and weight needs to be strapped. with some plastic shipping straps to keep it all together. Nice product!

It was quick to setup with few joins and screws. Strong and sturdy. Worthy product. Got it in great deal as well.

Came damaged and was told new one being shipped. Was a lie. My wife thanks you because she got a new bedroom set from furniture store

The bed itself is beautiful, design and tone were just we were looking for but it's disappointing that after a year the bed frame just cracked. The middle support mechanism also seems very poorly designed.

Really sturdy and easy to put together. Was happy to see that a queen size bed has a center rail for more support. Looks great in my guest bedroom; however, the color shown online is very off. The Patina color is much darker in person.

I was excited about my order but after unpacking the frame I was quickly disappointed. The headboard showed poor craftsmanship and the back of the headboard had a broken piece of wood that was glued together. There were also damaged places on the shutters. Will be returning.

Nicely engineered and all cuts an fittings were well manufactured. We ordered this and a king platform bed. The quality control on this queen bed was excellent vs mediocre on the king platform we purchased at the same time. Excellent engineering on both, but much happier with quality and looks of this queen bed.

Bought a queen for our guestroom. Beautiful, solid bed. I ordered the lighter finish based on other reviews that wood darker than pictures. It's perfect. Came with all the screws and even the tool...Great quality for the price.
