Hampton Bay Mix and Match Stationary Stackable Steel Split Back Sling Outdoor Patio Dining Chair is very simple yet easy to assemble, easy to maintain and easy to store solution for your patio. It look less than 15 minutes to complete each chair. Its shape is comfortable enough for couple hour sitting. It is very light chair that can be easily move around but sturdy enough to sit on. I personally like cloth material which can be easily cleaned. When it is stacked, it does does take much space when it is stacked

The holes were not aligned, could not get the screws in. Also, the fabric was no aligned properly, could not get one of the arms attached

Very poor quality. The drill holes are not smooth and one piece even required welding to grind off. There are also a few spots of rusts and scratches. I won’t buy these again.

Assembly difficult as the holes for attaching back to legs weren’t aligned properly on 3 of 4 chairs. Also, paint had been scratched off in some pieces. Expecting rust to form 1st rainy season even though they will be on covered patio. This is the 2nd set but the 1st set same price did not require assembly, frame was welded & not 1 speck of missing or scratched paint. Would not recommend these at all.

I ordered 5 boxes of 2 chairs per box for a total of 10 chairs. The chairs come totally knocked down and require assembly. The first step in the assembly calls for inserting the rear legs into the seat backs. There are holes in both parts that are supposed to align so you can insert a sheet metal screw that keeps the two parts from coming apart. This is where I ran into problems. Some of the legs would not fit into the backs. I had to mix and match to find pairs that would fit together. Ultimately on three of the chairs the holes in the legs and back did not line up enough to be able to install the screw. (Photo attached.) The instructions that come with the chairs give a toll free number to call if there are problems with missing or damaged parts. I called that number and explained the problem to the representative. He was very helpful and arranged to have three more legs and backs sent to me. I received the shipment this afternoon and was disappointed (but not really surprised) to find three legs and three seats (instead of backs) in the box. By mixing and matching the three new legs with the backs I still had I was able to assemble two more chairs, but I'm still short one. I emailed the representative and let him know I was still having an issue. To be continued ...

I like the color of these chairs because they look like stonewashed denim. They are comfy to sit in. They also match to a glider that you can buy separately. The frame is made from powder coated steel which resists rust. The seat and back are made of a plastic material that is weather resistant. I am going to stack and store them in the garage until the weather gets better.

They are stackable which makes it easy to store them during the winter. Although the material is weather resistant, I wouldn’t leave it out all winter because the color might fade. They are comfortable to sit in.

The stackable patio chairs are a nice addition to my patio. The thing that stands out most about the chairs are the quality of them. They are extremely sturdy and well made. I tried to rock them side to side and there wasn't any movement. The comfort level is good but I did add a cushion for the most comfortable seating experience. The chairs look great and the quality is excellent.

The Hampton Bay 2 pack of emerald coast color sling patio chairs looks great and meets our basic needs for an outdoor seating area. The chairs require some assembly (20-25 mins for both) and is relatively easy. I highly recommend leaving the front / side chair leg mounting screws a little loose while completing the rest of the assembly as it will allow some adjustment when mounting the side arms to the back. Place chair on level ground / floor and then tighten up all hardware. Overall, we love the green emerald color !

Seems to be comfortable, just sat in them for a short time so far. Assembly - seems like it should've been a bit easier than what it turned out to be - one chair was easy, the other chair not so easy - my opinion is that the 2nd chair was a bit off alignment from where it should've been. IMO assembly should've been a bit more thought out from whoever designed the assembly part. But overall these chairs look nice and hopefully will get much use.

Hampton Bay never disappoints when it comes to style. These stackable steel split back sling chairs are no exception. I love the bright colors offered and know they will make a "splash" in my yard this spring. The only downside is when I pulled everything out to assemble- I could not make some parts fit correctly. Lucky enough Hampton Bay offers a phone line to call, which I plan on doing so to assist. Parts are very clearly labled and they even include "extras" on the screws, etc which I love! Materials are a high quality.

Great affordable and comfortable chair. For the price these can't be beat. I had modest expectations and those were definitely exceeded. I got these as extra chairs for my back yard where I occasionally want to sit. The chairs came well packed and assembly was easy and took about 30 minutes. Like many similar products the trick is to get all the screws in but loose so you can line everything up. Then tighten and the chair comes together. I like that they didn't have you stretch the fabric over the frame or anything like that. Really simple. The chairs look to be coated in simple paint. Stacking is a little tight but it does work. I'll see how these hold up but for the price they're a good buy.

We recieved the 2-pack Hampton Bay Stackable Steel outdoor patio dining chairs but we have not assembly them yet. We will be putting them with are patio table on our back porch when it stops this rainy weather so we can have a place to rest when we go out there. The directions are simple to read and understand in putting them together. We can't wait to be able to use them.

They supply a hex head tool with a regular end and a ball end to tighten the bolts and I found it to be easy if you don’t tighten the screws until they are all in place. The chairs seem very well made and extremely sturdy and do not wobble or feel loose at all. The fabric sling cushions feel tight and strong but also feel very comfortable to sit on. I also found my patio cushions fit perfectly for a more softer feel. It's great that they are stackable so they take up much less room when not in use. Patio furniture can take a beating from the elements, both chairs flipped over in strong winds the other day but when I stacked them together the weight held then down. I will be covering or storing them indoors next winter. The chairs have a 2 year warranty and I expect them to last many years

The Hampton Bay Mix and Match Stationary Stackable Steel Split Back Sling Outdoor Patio Dining Chair set is an exceptionally well made product that will hold up to the most challenging array of users. The bright white powder coated frame is striking and the over-engineered sturdiness will provide an eye appealing seating option. My wife and I were able to assemble the pair in a reasonably short time using the detailed assembly instructions. The overall comfort was more than adequate as you can see in the picture. This set maintains the overall five star quality that Hampton Bay is known for.

If your buying these chairs and have the chance to buy them prebuilt do it. I got mine abs had to assemble them. It should have been very easy.. yes all the screws and parts were included. The problem was the seat bottom did not slide into the frame tubes like it was supposed to. It took a lot of leverage and actually some minor bending to get them to fit together. The finish is very nice and the seat and back material is nice. They were just hard to put together and I’m an avid DIY’er

The Hampton bay mix and match patio chairs arrived in a well packed box. The directions are clear and easy to read. The chairs come with the necessary tools to assemble. The finish is a flat powder coating over steel. I had to muscle some of the parts into alignment. but, It all went together. Once assembled. I had to tweak a little to sit even. The material seems very durable and comfortable. Nice plastic feet To protect deck surface. And stack neatly.

I ordered a set of these chairs and the first ones could not even be assembled because the parts were welded wrong. Ok so it was a bad day at the factory. A replacement set was sent which did go together but the quality is so bad that I’m not really sure I want to use them. They are easy enough to assemble but things fit together so poorly that I think I’m going to constantly have to tighten the screws just to keep it together. But then again I stripped out the included wrench just putting it together. Once I got it together I noticed that the legs are crooked. I weigh 225lbs and with the crooked legs and iffy construction I’m not sure I’m going to keep them. They might be ok for staging a house for sale, just don’t let anyone sit on it.

We’ve haven’t been disappointed with Hampton Bay, to-date! The chairs seems very durable and the material has a high-end feel and design to it. Looking forward to enjoying them more when it starts to warm up’

This Hampton Bay Outdoor Patio Chairs are very nice looking and is made of excellent material. The color (Wet Cement Gray) blends in well with other patio furniture as well. The structure is made of steel, and the material should last a very long time. One of the best feature for me is that they are stackable. They are lightweight design and can be easily stored if needed.

These mix and match stackable outdoor chairs are good and strong once assembled. Assembly of the seat was a little tricky and took some effort to get the bolts lined up since they had to go through both the arm and back of the seat so be patient and do not tighten the bolts until they are all in. They are surprisingly lightweight, comfortable, and the material is very strong. The material can get wet then easily dry out since it's breathable. Lots of cool choice of colors too!

They are sturdy and should last a long time in the elements. I like the size and feel a larger person could fit in them comfortably. However the individuals who manufactured these chairs did not build them accurately and they are difficult to assemble. If they are going to be sold in a box unassembled I would talk to the manufacturer about the company assembling them.

Overall, these are very nice chairs for guests. I don't think they are comfortable enough to sit in for long periods, but for casual dining or chatting outside they are fine. They took about 45 minutes to put together with a little difficulty. The frame is made out of tubular steel and doesn't have much give. A few of the holes didn't line up, and it took some effort to push things into the right orientation. Overall, I am pleased with the chairs. We have some nicer ones that we prefer to sit in, these are a good compromise to have additional seating that is attractive but not too expensive. Plus they stack to save space when not needed or to move around.

PRO: Components are well protected from scuffing during shipping, to the point that it's almost annoying how much you have to rip of before you can start assembly—that said, I didn’t notice any terrible scuffs even though the box got fairly hammered in shipping. It goes together with 8 screws that are easy to install with the provided Allen wrench, plus two Philips screws at the end that the instructions forget to mention :-). They don't take long to assemble, but they don't come out of the box ready to use, either. It has a pretty name badge and two-year warranty. CON: I do not recommend this chair for two reasons: (1) the front edge of the seating surface is not a soft tightly-stretch fabric curve, but the curved edge of a metal bar, so it feels like a metal chair, and (2) worse is when I sit up straight, there's a bar right under my tailbone (see pic), and the only way to not feel it is to slouch. This is a major design flaw; it should have bowed down so you couldn’t feel it (or get hurt by it). Wife wants to keep them, but I'll set them out last, and with a caution!

Assembly was a little difficult for the first chair, the instructions are pretty vague, I went by the illustrations more than the written part. And do not even snug any fasteners until the chair is completely assembled. This will make lining up the holes much easier. All fasteners are included, including some extras. The chairs are comfortable, and the finish and seat and back materials seem to be good quality.

I'm very happy with these comfortable, high quality chairs and I plan on getting more. One of the things I like the most is the ability to stack these chairs. This stacking ability makes it very easy for me to store them in our shed. The steel frame of the chair is very sturdy and the white finish should last for years. Hopefully, the sling seat material will be equally long lasting.
