Nice window overall

Sturdy, perfect size, not too heavy, looks well constructed.

Just finished installing six of the windows. Overall very pleased with operation, appearance and ease of installation. always goes back to old saying " You get what you pay for". The quality not quite as good as $50 or $75 more expensive window. My problem with window is the design of the outside frame. The corners are pinched to either weld or crimp tops, bottoms and sides together. This procedure creates a 1/16" to 1/8" raised corner that makes it impossible for J channel to lay flat and make a decent corner joint. All windows have noticeable gaps in the j channel at the corners.

Very nice window , very good quality great price

I installed seven of these into an aircraft hangar. I've had a lot of items shipped recently that were not well packaged and would arrive damaged. Not these! They were very well packed - doubled boxed and surrounded by a very thick box made of styrofoam. Well done Tafco! These are very nice windows for this price point. My neighbor and our contactor both commented on how nice they were. The windows were easy to install and fit well. My only minor complaint was that some of the nail holes (in the install flange) were drilled very close to the corner of the material. Not a huge deal but just a little attention to detail issue.

We purchased windows 9/2017, Last month noticed a large stress crack on the inside glass of the window. A stress crack after 15 months ? Ridiculous I am being told any cracks are not covered by the warranty. Do your self a favor spend some extra money get better windows.

Great look and fit.

Very useful as an Egress window. Should be wonderful that the open space when the window is open reach 20” inches wide. Current measurement is 17.5” inches. 20” inches is the measuring requested by the Town Code.

This was an excellent product for either new construction or replacement. I used it for replacement and all of the components felt high quality. It was much cheaper than ordering the same size from the Home Depot desk

Really excellent quality. Very happy with the windows. They are well built and quite heavy. Installers note: the rough opening says 36 but in reality you only need 35-1/2 for the frame. However the flange is actually 37 to 37-1/4 so if they are going in a window well like mine you'll need at least 37-1/2.

The windows were what was expected for the price but the alignment of the frame to the window was great on the left window and not so good on the right. I also didn’t expect these windows to be imported from China.

Great value for casement window

The windows are great the size and style was perfect for my needs.Quality is good too and was easy to install this just made my inlaw unit that much more grand!

The unit seemed to be very sightly out of square, but the build quality is good. I don't have any problems with it and would buy more of them.

Great product

First, they arrived in excellent condition, well packed, and very quickly. I rate this excellent primarily because of its price for the quality. I know one can maybe buy a different brand for a lot more money but for our use, this was a winner. The only minor hindrance was the "weld" corners caused a little more effort installing the outside trim.

Nice looking, Smooth operation, Screen easy to take in and out

When cranked open, the casement window’s 30 in width became 19 inches, 1 inch shorter than the minimum width required in NY for egress window. I had to return both windows (left & right) to perchase 30 x 60 TAFCO 88000 series Egress windows. The were perfect.

Nice window

We had this window professionally installed in a bathroom with no window. Hugh difference. Window seems very well made, looks great, operates smoothly and easily, men had no issue whatsoever with the installation. Love the casement style.

No complaints. All went well. Locking latch seems to need to be "pulled on" twice to engage, but isn't realliy an issue.
