It does catch then but it doesn’t really get rid of them , we still have them we can’t seem to get rid of them , we have even tried the stuff you put in the sinks in case the are nesting in there . Going to give up and call the exterminator

Waste of $$
The specifications state that this product will last 90 days. After about a week the liquid had evaporated and the trap was useless. Did not kill nor deter ANY of the fruit flys. It's a waste of $$!!!!!

They're different ones than you used to have, & the fruit flies don't seem to like the bait as much.

We are sorry to hear that you did not experience the results expected from this trap! Often a gnat, drain fly or other type of nuisance fly invasion is mistaken for a fruit fly invasion. As their name suggest, fruit flies are attracted to fruit - they're small, winged insects typically found around ripe produce in your kitchen, near garbage cans and open bottles of wine. If the flies aren’t attracted to the lure, you’re most likely not dealing with a fruit fly invasion. If you continue to be unhappy with your results, you may contact the original retailer for assistance with a refund.

effective
I removed the source of the food (some rotting bread) and put these traps out and they got rid of my fruit fly infestation. Just beware that these traps stink like apple cider vinegar but they do their job.

it is not effective at all. Indoor fruit fly trap is not at all effective. Even after two weeks it has failed to remove fruit flies.

Sorry this was a product disappointment. I placed where I get the most gnats and NOT“ONE” was caught! I went back to a small plate with dawn and water boom does the trick

Other similar looking insects, such as drain flies or fungus gnats would not be attracted to the traps. They have a 30 day return period. Effective in eliminating fruit flies
My kitchen was swarming with fruit flies at the time this product was purchased. I was disappointed that results were not obtained immediately (and some reviewers apparently haven't been patient enough), but after a couple of weeks the fruit flies had been eliminated completely. I would use this product again if I had a similar problem in the future, since the traps are very inexpensive and do not require the use of electricity.

The Terro Fruit Fly Traps were easy to prepare and set out. We had a surprise infestation of fruit flies after being away for 8 days and discovering the phantom banana under the kitchen sink. Fruit flies were everywhere. A reduction in the number of fruit flies was visible the next day. The coolest feature is the little viewing window on the side where you can see the dead bodies of the flies that ventured into the trap.
