Best dock ladder on the market! I have a boat house and pier 0n a canal on North Padre Island at Corpus Christi, Texas. Many of dogs have drowned because of the concrete bulk head around all of the canals. Once the jump or fall in no way to get out. I have two Labradors and you can not keep them out of the water. It was really hard to pull one of them out onto the pier. I was going to get a doggie ladder but only rated for 90 lbs. to 120 lbs. Then I seen this one on the internet and looked at the video. Rated for 350 lbs. my labs can easily get out and so can I. Very easy to put in and pull out. Be sure to use stainless steel lad bolts with a stainless steel washer when mounting to deck. Do not over tighten. I but a 15 ft. 1/2 inch dock line on the bottom of ladder, use a 2 x 4 to help get it out of water then used the rope to pull it out once the water drains. This way you do not have to bend down for the ladder. Very sturdy and well made. Easy to assemble. You can not go wrong especially for the price.

Easy to assemble. The wide, slanted steps make it easier for adults to get out of deep water. May be too wide for some little ones. Handles don’t get as hot in our Texas sun as our old metal, uncomfortable steps did. Hubby will put up a pulley to lift the ladder out of the water. No problem.

This ladder is 3x awesome! It works exactly like it says online --- the steps are wide and comfortable on the foot! We love love love it and are so glad we got it.

These are the best thing we have ever bought for our dock.

Quality product, well made and easy to install. I primarily purchased so that my dog could climb on the dock unassisted and it has worked perfectly. There is a problem pulling the ladder up to fold out of the water. You will need to rig a rope or hoist and even with that it is difficult to pull up

I like this ladder and will get a lot of use out of it. However, the factory quality control leaves something to be desired. The handles that bolt to the dock have a recess for a round pivot point on the top of the ladder. On one of mine this recess was oval and nor large enough to accept the pivot. The parts are identical so I tried it on the other side of the ladder. Same issue. I ended up sanding the hole until it would accept the pivot. The pivot points are held together by bolts. The nuts sent were the wrong size for the bolt.

We wish there was a way to lift out of the water from dock, once u are out. We do not intend to leave in water all the time. My husband is crafty so I’m sure he will figure something out. Otherwise, seems like good quality; fairly easy install.

Absolutely love it!!!! We were concerned about comments regarding difficulty bringing it back up out of the water but reading the instructions it has one line about using a 2 by 4 and it works beautifully.

The ladder is sturdy, easy to climb and folds up beautifully. Love the wide steps and angle of the ladder as well.

Very nice enter/exit water, seems well built & sturdy, great price compared to same design steel ladder (over $600). My only concern is the old saying YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR & this is a plastic ladder. I'll leave it up & covered with tarp when not in use & hope for the best, (10 STARS) if it last.

Easy to position and assemble. Only problem was that the sockets for the 1/2” lag bolts we used to bolt it down didn’t fit in the indentations on the top of the supports so it was hard to completely tighten the bolts.

I would rate this as a 5 if it weren't difficult to raise. Tommy Docks needs to come up with a good method of raising. If you can install it near an overhead structure it would be easy to do with a small rope and pulley.

This ladder completely meets my expectations! It is strong and sturdy and was very easy to install. The large steps and inclined slope make getting on and off my dock a breeze. I am a pretty big guy and this ladder seems very secure underfoot. I’m looking forward to years of use.

We have not installed this ladder yet but our neighbors have the Techstar one that is more vertical and we all love it. So with this one binge more angled it can only be even better. We shall see how our aging chocolate lab will do with it however.

I had to return this dock ladder as the rear bulge on the ladder hit the face of the dock preventing it from being mounted properly. It also stuck out too far hitting a floating dock for my jet ski. The hinge hardware was also not stainless steel, which I found odd for the price charged.

Stairs have to be tied off at an angle to allow the dogs to use it but overall good product.

Dock ladder arrived with all advertised parts (no mounting hardware, and none was promised), even though it arrived in a cardboard shipping box with one end open (unstapled). Assembly and mounting were easy. Tread size and slope of stairs very user-friendly. Raising ladder out of the water using a 2x4 has not been as effective as TechStar's video makes it look. Both that operation and the safety/security of going up and down the ladder could readily be improved by a minor change in molding the side rails. Even so, it's generally a very good design, and may prove to be worth the hefty price (compared to alternative products).
