I used it to ventilate several areas (rooms) in my basement. Set it on a timer to adjust a exchange rate.

It works the way it should, a very good product.

everything was good, except that one of the loose shields, did not grabbed the duct itself. You had to align it by sight.

The way this Thruwall is designed, it can accommodate thicker wall sizes than your typical studs/Sheetrock. The only difficulty I had installing was lining up the 8” hole on the opposite wall. Though the directions were clear, it seemed I needed a longer drill bit than I had to line it up the way the directions told me. But I just started out cutting a smaller hole inside the guides of the opposite wall and, going out from there, I was able to line up plumb and flush. The ventilation was exactly what we needed, it lined up flush, and helps the room that doesn’t have any existing ventilation stay cool and dry. My chief concern was soundproofing (this was a new home office wall built because of COVID-19) but placing this fan in the bottom corner of the new space helped keep volume down. The fan also makes a nice white noise that isn’t too loud which helps also to drown out unwanted outside chatter. All in all, so grateful this product is available.

I would highly recommend this product, very easy to install. Looks great and moves the air to exactly where I wanted the flow.

Very well built product. Fan moves a fair amount of air and is quiet enough that you don't hardly notice it running in the same room. Of course on low is quieter than high. Blade seems to be well balanced, that makes it quiet. Comes with everything you need to install it, including screws. Has a super long cord to plug into a receptacle, must be 9 or 10 feet long. I got this for my screened in porch. I enclose it in Lexan during the winter so it can get a little warm out there on sunny days. So this will pull the hot air into the cold garage. I wish it had a thermostat on it, so I wouldn't have to turn it on & off. But I'll figure out how to install that in the future.

I found this through the wall fan to be an easy install. I is well made. It has 2 speeds, you can change to two different speeds by changing the speed disc on the face of the fan. Simply remove the existing one by turning a quarter turn, then install the smaller one. I am using it to send my warm air from my work shop to the larger area of my yard barn.

I like the fan .like that I didn't have to call a electrician to connect it .I would install a 2nd if I could afford, but bing on a fixed income I will make it with one.only had it just for two months.

I have not installed this yet, but it will be in the wall above a door in our laundry room to remove excess heat. It can be used to either draw in cooler or warmer air or to remove warm or cold air from a small room. The direction of flow is clearly marked on the fan shroud and it can be installed to suit your needs. There is an on & off switch and a long cord to allow it to be plugged in to an outlet, but I suppose that it can also be wired in to a junction box. The housing appears to be galvanized sheet metal with white plastic covers/grills on the outlet and inlet. It comes with clear instructions for installation and use. See pics for view. It will fit between the studs in the wall without any cutting of studs, only a bit of dry wall for the opening.

Finally they have made a product to put between your walls to increase ventilation and give you an answer to stuffy rooms.The unit is outfitted with a three prong grounded plug for convenience of installation. A two speed fan and different output levels are included for a nice added benefit. This fan could also be used for moving the air around plants in a greenhouse setting. I would recommend this product.

Installed this unit to pull AC air through air ducks to cool bedroom . Works better then I thought .

Pretty simple install and happy with the low noise. Using it to help warm and cool our insulated garage. The long cord made placement easy. I didn't really understand the extra little round plate that came with it. With free delivery it was a win win.

This fan was very easy to install and is quieter than I anticipated. I installed it in the living room wall so that it will move the air from the pellet stove to the back of the house. It moves the air without disrupting the television. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

Would like it better if it were reversible
