A: Hello, we advise that you determine the location on your wall where you will be installing the transfer fan and then use the fan housing as a template. The diameter of the fan housing is 8-3/16". Thank you.

A: Just used ours to convert a closet to a craft room, venting into our water heater utility closet. Note that the air comes out toward the switch side (ie switch side is the exhaust). In my case that meant I needed to make an extra hole to route the power cable back into the room we were pulling air out of, but overall a relatively strong, quiet fan.

Q:is the fan reversible? meaning can you adjust the direction of airflow from in to out and vice versa. so it can be used to exhaust the air from one room to another when needed and reverse the air direction to bring air to room instead of exhausting air?
