Not Sticky Enough
Looked good....for about a day. I prepped the surface as instructed but it simply didn't stick properly. Wasted a lot of time cutting this to fit my kitchen wall and installing to have the product fail.

My landlord is going to be so mad
Not only did I waste money on this product but I'm going to get financially reamed by my apartment complex for the damage it did to my drywall.

A++ Excellent product! I used it to cover old Formica backsplash in my kitchen. It looks wonderful. Takes time and patience, but it is not difficult. I would definitely recommend.

The product was so easy to use I also redid my daughter's kitchen. It gave the kitchen a fabulous upscale pop! I am also traveling to Columbus Ohio and redo my sister-laws kitchen also. Thx Home Depot for making my diy so easy.

It looks very nice. It took me a few tries and reading the instructions before I was able to line the tiles up! Once I got it figured out it was easy to use!

        Beautiful Tiles!
I love these tiles! They are beautiful. The polito white design is genius and modern. They are also very waterproof. I added pictures to show how I installed them. I had never done anything like this before. I used a level, pencil, and a pair of scissors. I read some negative reviews; but I can tell you, if you follow the simple instructions, it works great! 1. Using a level is a must! I drew a level line around my whole area and lined the top of the tiles up with that. The rest will follow above and below that. DO NOT line up with your cabinets or countertop. My countertop was so horribly downhill that my tiles would've looked awful going in that direction. 2. Don't peel off the entire backing all at once! Work your way across, pressing the tiles as you go. Then I went over every tile with a dry cloth to make sure I had stuck every inch, especial around the edges. I saw some reviews saying the tiles were too "sticky." Isn't that what we want? That's why I ordered these tiles. The adhesion was perfect. Mine have been on for a month now and stayed right where I put them. Make sure your wall is clean but also DRY and definitely not oily. I'm glad this product exists. I had glass tile professionally installed at my last house, but this looks just as good without rough grout to clean. I hate grout.

I ordered these to cover up an ugly, existing, backsplash that was in the house when we bought it. We full intend to replace the granite and backsplash but it’s just not on the top of the list. We were hosting dinner for my sister’s wedding and I told my husband we had to do something about the backsplash, so did. It was a little more difficult to instal, than I was originally thinking. It definitely took both of us for placing it exactly as we wanted. But once we got the hang of it, we sailed through it. Took about 4 hours. We love the outcome and no knew it wasn’t actual tile. We got a ton of compliments on it!

This peel and stick tile is pretty and it has excellent adhesion. My experience with it was a disaster. I was trying to place it as a back splash in our RV bathroom. I am not remodeling the bathroom, just updating it. It was hard to get the backing off the peel and stick tiles. It even peeled off a back of the tile on one sheet. Cutting it was easy with scissors, but having a nice perfectly straight edge with scissors following my measured lines was difficult. Maybe a cutting board with a cutting arm would have worked better. Trying to stick the sheets perfectly squared on the wall behind the sink and around the perimeters was so difficult, I gave up. I wanted it to be perfect and I couldn’t do it. So I took it down. It peeled the RV’s vinyl coating off. I have to come up with an alternative now as the back splash is a mess.

I have a sink in my semi-finished man cave/garage shop that needs a backsplash both for aesthetics and to keep the drywall behind it from getting wet. I've not had the time to install a tile backsplash, so when I saw this peel and stick mosaic tile product I had to give it a try. These are roughly 12" x 12" (roughly--the edges are staggered so the tiles interlock without a giveaway straight line). They are easy to cut with a utility knife and a straight edge. The tiles are made from the same film, printing techniques, and urethane crystal cast/drip mold and adhesive as boat/RV/automotive decals. This lies somewhere about halfway between a very fancy wallpaper and real tiles. The base film is slightly heavier than typical automotive film. The printing is very high dpi and the raised urethane drip molded areas look convincing as tile from a few feet away. Surface preparation is extremely important. The packet of tiles comes with clear photographic instructions--unusual for most consumer products. A pristine surface is necessary. On a boat we'd clean the hullside with a rag wetted with acetone before installing graphics, often using a spray bottle with some dish soap to wet the hullside and ease repositioning/de-bubbling. Those techniques are not possible when installing over wallboard. The instructions recommend painting the underlying surface and lightly sanding the paint. That is excellent advice and would have greatly improved my installation. I used blue tape to mark off the area to be prepped and for a guide for final installation. I sanded away the knock down texture and thoroughly vacuumed the wall to eliminate any dust and or loose remaining knock-down. I should have painted to completely stabilize the surface. As it was I had areas of sanded flat knock-down come loose (stick to the adhesive backing) with some of the jostling during installation. Cutting the tile with a utility knife and straight edge was a cinch. I started left to right using my tape lines as my guides, lightly tacking a corner and then gently waving it down with my hand from left to right. I used a roller to set the adhesive and my finger to smooth down the "grout" lines between the stiffer urethane drip molded "tiles." The successive tiles went down in a similar fashion, overlapping sort of like a jigsaw puzzle. Stand back, et voila! I've installed a mosaic "tile" backsplash that is waterproof (except for any small gaps between the tiles) and should stand up to the abuse of my utility sink. The Pros are this is very easy to do and looks rather convincing from a few feet away (except it isn't as thick as real mosaic tile--a giveaway). The Cons are the surface must be pristine, sanded flat of any texture, and stabilized/painted before installation. I give it a 5 star rating for material and instructional quality--this is a fantastic price for what amounts to be very fancy wall tiles made from the same stuff that goes on the side of a boat. I give it a 3 for overall rating however. Unless the consumer is meticulous about preparing the surface the installation is going to have bubbles/pull away from the surface.

          gray/light browns.
This peel and stick turned out great! I am renting so couldn't spend money on real tile. Easy to cut and place. Worth the money, 5 came in one box. They all have a different amount of tile in boxes of 4-12 pieces. So check price and the amount.

Ehhhh.... not what I had expected. The tiles are sticky enough, overlapping made easy, unfortunately the “grout lines” are fake looking one dimensional silver- grey. It clearly and unfortunately looks like fake tile. I wanted to like it, But, I can not recommend it.
