I bought these panels to experiment with a laser etcher I just bought. Coming as a 10-pack, they're a lot more affordable and convenient than buying project panels one by one and then having to weather them myself. For my use, they work great. They're a very manageable size, so I can easily chop it down to the size I want, and since they are completely wood instead of just a veneer, I can play with laser intensity for color density and depth without fear of burning through into MDF filler. It's actual peeling paint: I think stained, painted, and then scuffed. However it's done, it's done very well, and I haven't seen any duplication of pattern. Cool idea, brilliant colors, and perfect for my needs.

The only reason why I could not recommend this product is due to the color. Looking at the product on the website gives the impression that you will receive boards that have considerably different shades of brown (light, medium, dark). What I received was 4 boards the exact same shade of brown and 2 boards that were a slightly darker brown but much richer looking wood grain. (The 2 darker boards I think are gorgeous). These are not recommended for using on the floor or anywhere outdoors or where there will be high humidity such as a bathroom. The only recommended use for this product is on the wall in like a bedroom, living room etc. While I think these would be perfect for that purpose, again due to no variation in the coloring of the boards I don’t feel you would get the look you would be going for based on what is shown on the website. There were good installation instructions for hanging horizontally, vertically or diagonally using either nails or adhesive. Based on the fact that there are only six boards per package, which only comes to approximately 12 ft.², to cover a wall 8 feet tall by 10 feet wide would require approximately seven boxes. At $50 a box, this could get pretty pricey.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered these panels, and was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. They are perfectly flat, and the edges are perfectly straight, when laid side by side there are no gaps at all, making them simple and easy to mount. While the finish appears rough like barn boards, it is in fact very smooth and would be easy to clean without snagging.

This is a fairly thin plank of pine that is stained a darker brown. It is not plywood, it is solid pine. Pine is generally lighter weight than many other woods, so it can be used more easily. I will be backing my needlework with these planks. I do that with many projects and I cut the planks down and stain the edges to match. As it is light in weight, I can use a number of them and they can hang on the wall with strips instead of having to be nailed or glued.

I used the 'MIX' brown panels. First thought I had was nice to see it was made in the USA (by Texans). I actually used these to make a project, a headboard. The mix of colors is good mix of browns, the product photo is accurate an I find it was just enough variation to still blend while keeping the rustic look. The panels are thin making it easy to manage , of the 6 I received - I did find one was slightly warped , now this didn't matter much for my application but It might have made nailing to the wall more of pain. The surfaces were pretty smooth with nice sanded natural knots. The backs were not finished and bare wood, while the sides - some were finished- none of that would matter if attaching to the wall. Overall I think its a great product and I'm pleased with my almost finished project, priced at $49 when I received, I do think thats high and needs to come down.

These wood panels make any job a cinch. I was happy to see these panels being sold already distressed! They are made of real wood and they are of good quality. Previously, I would use recycles wood planks and paint and distress them myself. These saved me a lot of time and hassle. These boards are very easy to work with as they are all a uniform shape and size and not warped or wonky. They are light and great to work with.

Real Re-Claimed Wood Panels are made in the USA in Oregon by Texans. The package contains six wooden panels. The panel size is 11/32" x 5‘ 5“ x 47.5 covering 10.88 ft. per package. Install using either finishing nails, brad nailer or adhesive. The most important thing, because they are made of real wood, in order to minimize shrinkage, the wood needs to be in the environment they are being installed. Open the package, spread the boards in the room where they will be installed at least 72 hours or longer before applying. For nailing, use 1 1/4 finishing nails. For adhesive, follow suggested instructions. (nails or adhesive not included). The wood panels can be installed horizontal, vertical or diagonal. Easy to handle, lightweight, good quality, cleanable, low VOC's. Come in different colors. Creative way to use ~ headboard, accent wall behind the bed, front of bar area, bathroom, accent wall.

Great quality planks come in many different colors. These have many uses. I am personally going to make some signs with mine or maybe do a very nice table top. They are very unique and have a rustic weathered look to them. They are not too heavy so they will install easily as they don't require big nails, screw etc. Could probably glue in most cases. The look and quality is perfect.

We recently installed this product on the front side of a floating kitchen counter directly on the painted drywall. The area is relatively small approx. 82" x 26". Some board cutting and sanding was needed but easily accomplished to produce an evenly covered surface. We used a liquid glue (no nails at all) to secure the wood in place. Our best idea was to first lay out the exact way we wanted to match the boards together in terms of color, knots, etc. before starting to cut and glue. The wood panels are light weight and well made with the natural look of wood retained, in our case a weathered grey. We think the finished project looks great and met with our goals to protect the area from shoe kicks and generally improve the appearance.

Ok so I was really excited with high hopes for this product , but it fell short . Ordering Tomato peel and getting distressed gray but kinda looking like it wants to be Tomato peel. Was looking for the reds ,tans and golds as in the picture. Oh well so the colors might not be actual of what packing label says and what in the box. The wood is a softwood panel , with squared edges with some defects, joining them cant be as precise but it does get you a distressed look. The product color I received are very mutted and flat not as vibrant as the picture. The thickness 11/32 makes mounting to base , crown etc not very good looking unless its mounted behind or you have a thick reveal or install a finsh trim board.. First instructions warning is they must be conditioned to the mounting enviorment. This is pretty typical with wood panel products. , Lay it out near your install location and give it a good 72 hour rest. This will give your appication better results with your joints in your layout. These have a high vapor smell not the low VOC claimed on packing. Nailing or adhesives for mounting , Ive found that my finish nail gun worked well with a little adheasive. All in all if you do not have painting and carpentry skills this product will get you the desired effect , maybe my box was wrong color vs label or a seconds box. The price for (10.88 sf) for me there are other options. All in all the product is a soft wood, waterbased paint. ready to install for the DIY .

This product created the look my wife and step-daughter were trying to achieve by helping to accent a guest suite wall in our 1906 home. Easy to install. Tip: Devote extra time to the design pattern in order to minimize cuts and waste.

I looked for several months to find a white washed reclaimed wood product to do a large wall in my home totalling just under 300 sq feet. The stick and peel products that had the look I loved would have cost us 3500.00 which was way to much money. One day while we were looking at home depot for the 3rd time trying to find a product that would give a similar look we saw time line skinnies distressed white reclaimed wood planks and the cost per sq foot and I was sold. We purchased the amount of packages we needed along with the finishing nails to put it up. We also purchased some glue though I didn't want to use it unless we had to because I didn't want the wall to be that permanent. With the length of the boards being what they were we were able to nail each board into at least 2 different studs and at times 3 studs so we had no need to use the glue. It even held well where there were no studs. It was simple to install. The paint doesn't flake off at all like you would think it would and the boards are not rough to where you could get a sliver if you rubbed your hands across it like other products I looked at. I would highly recommend painting your wall the color of the boards before hanging them because there will be gaps in between boards. We cut at least 1 board on each row a different length so the seams didn't line up. We also have one end of the wall that goes into our hall so you see the ends of the wall so we framed out Both sides of the wall with boards going up the wall on both sides. I (a 40 year old woman) installed the entire wall with my husband and I cutting boards. I used a nail gun and ladders to install them. The hardest part was holding the boards with the nail gun climbing up to a height of 17 feet to install each board but it was worth it. It looks like I found an old barn out in the field and pulled the boards and put them on my wall. I love my wall and would highly recommend this product. We already have 3 friends who want me to help them do similar walls in their homes. It really brightens the room and adds character to it. You'll love it too!

We did this as a wainscoting and turned out amazing! Do NOT try and use liquid nails, it doesn’t work. I used Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive. It worked much better. You could also use a nail gun. We decided to try this product vertically and it turned out perfect!!

This productis beautiful and was easy to install. Made of real wood so it was nice to work with.

I have installed this in 3 different places in my home.The picture included with this review was the last install.We love this wood and how it warms up the room.It pulls it all together without being overdone. Glue and nail gun to the wall,pieces lay flat,real wood.Great product!

This is absolutely beautiful. It looks so nice as my feature wall. I only gave 4 stars because one of the boxes was clearly opened and only had 3 boards in it instead of 6 but otherwise I have already gotten so many compliments and all my neighbors said they want to do the same to their wall.

We used it for our kitchen backsplash. They were all the same length, but some were not the same width.

One of my favorite products ever! So cool, affordable, easy to work with and makes a HUGE impact. My house is an advertisement for how awesome these wood panels are and what you can do for big design impact!

Easy to install. Looks fabulous.

Excellent product. I have used it twice and had great success both times. The photos show a kitchen accent wall including a valance box that covers the top of the vertical curtains. You will definitely need a brad nailer but I did not use glue to place the boards on the wall. I used a compound mitre saw to cut the boards and a table saw for rip cuts.

This product was easy to install and it looks great!!

I installed this on 3 different walls for my wife. She looked everywhere for real wood with easy application. The finish of this wood allowed for easy installation. I used liquid nails and a brad nailer for the installation and couldnt be more pleased! Plus the wife loves it!

Loved the look these boards gave to our bedroom wall which is a beach themed guest room. Very east to install and good price Was able to add frames to the boards with ease.

I highly recdommend this product for anyone that is looking for the distressed wood look! Very easy to work with and looks great
