Installation was a breeze. A bit pricey but I think the end result was worth it. I used 7/16” OSB for the backer board and 16G 1 -1/4” finish nails to attach the planks.

Very good quality. Not thin and cheap. Very beautiful when on the wall. Did two accent walls in the laundry room. Actually made the room look larger. Would like to do more walls in the house, but you can't have too much of the same thing.

its beautiful all put together. You have to remember this is reclaimed wood, it's going to have holes and imperfections, but that's what makes it beautiful. I do think they are charging way too much for it though. But it's easier than making my own

We love all the unique pieces of wood and are so happy with the finished product. We absolutely love our wall. It is 10x more cozy in our living space now. Buy it! You won’t be disappointed.

Did a lot of research and came across Vintage Timbers. Colors are true to description. A good mixture of browns and grays. This product exceeded our expectations and is well worth the cost!! Easy to work with and looks amazing. Painting the wall a dark brown or black before installing is a MUST as there are small gaps between boards and natural holes throughout some of the planks.

I love my new wall. Enough variation in the boxes to make a really neat looking wall. All boards were usable. In general is crazy how expensive barn wood is but does look really neat. I would use again and get many compliments.

When we opened the boxes, I laughed and told my wife that I would normally be throwing this type of old weathered wood away and asked her how much did we pay for this again?!?! LoL However, when we were done, we were amazed!. The accent wall completely changed the look and feel of the room. We couldn't be more pleased and are already planning our next project! The 3/8" planks are easy to work with and feel like an actual piece of lumber rather than a narrow molded slab of artificial paneling. They have the warmth and natural look that we were hoping for. My recommendations: (1) Pre-sort all of your boards so you know what you have to work with. We sorted the widths and lengths as we pulled them from the boxes beforehand. We found that we had a fair amount more 4" widths than 3" and 5" so we knew we had to install a few extra rows of 4" onto our wall. We also set aside the 1' length boards and the three or four boards that we did not want to use (unsightly water stains, etc.). (2) If you are installing onto painted drywall with internal corners like we had on our project, definitely paint the wall a dark brown, dark gray or black before installing. You will see the wall between some boards and through missing knots and cracks. (3) Cut/file/sand an 1/8" bevel the backside of the board ends that will butt up against the sidewalls. Most drywall corners are not a perfect square, but rather have a rounded inside corner. This rounded inside corner will prevent your wood from sitting flush in the corner without a slight bevel. (4) Cover the floor and wear a dust mask. The barnwood will drop dust each time you drive a nail into it. The only thing that I disliked was the pre-cut board lengths (1', 2', 3' and 4' lengths), which resulted in having a lot more waste than was necessary. Most homes are built with 16" on-center wall and ceiling studs. So, the pre-cut 1' lengths are worthless, the 2' lengths have to be cut to 16" and the 3' lengths have to be cut to 32" in order to secure them properly. I would have rated the Value a 4 or 5, but your product had a lot of unusable pieces in each box. Manufacturer: Don't overthink your product. You advertised "3/8 in. x 4 ft. Random Width 3 in. - 5 in.", but that is not really what I got with the pre-cut lengths. Installers are going to have to cut boards no matter what. So, just give me 4' lengths and let me customize the lengths according to my project. It'll save you the time and effort of cutting multiple lengths in the plant and give me more usable product for my money. Our wall is 15' x 8' high. We bought 14 boxes, used about 11.5 total boxes, have 1.5 boxes left of usable product (I am OK with this) and 1 box of scrap (all of the 1' pre-cut lengths and the leftover cut lengths from the other pre-cut lengths).

Easy to to install, found most of the pieces not to be warped. Very nice look!
